Gorgeous, flattering pink. I really love this color. It's so easy to apply, I don't need a mirror as it is slightly darker than my natural lip color, but not much. It has a slight frost to it, but almost unnoticeable. Creamy. Love the colorburst line.

I own quite a few Colorburst lipsticks, but this one seems to have a much sheerer formula. I barely see any color when it's freshly applied and what color there is wears off quickly. The only way I can make this shade work is to fill in my lips with liner, which I don't care to do on a daily basis. I picked up Petal on sale at CVS so it likely is being discontinued.

This is one of those understated and pretty lipsticks that looks good any time. It has a semi-sheer application with a pretty pinky nude (more pink than nude) pigment. I like this because it gives a fresh look. This would look pretty on both cool and warn skin tones.

A lovely everyday lipstick that isn't so opaque it looks overdone. The colour is exactly like it's name - petal. A dusky pale-midtone pink with a slight hint of peach. I add a tiny dab of Revlons "wine with everything" to deepen the colour to suit my complexion a bit more :)

I bought this lipstick today, it was half price so I thought I'd give it a go as I'm normally more of a lipgloss fan. What drew it to me was the natural pretty pink colour and I really like the packaging as well. I thought it would be perfect for every day use. I really love it! It's a lovely pink tone, it feels moisturising, and really suits my complexion. Great buy!

This is my favorite lipstick of all time. I think it's discontinued now. It's not on the Revlon site and I can't find it anywhere around town. Luckily I found it online, and I recently ordered 5 tubes.
This is a beautiful, everday lip color. It's a peachy shade with a hint of pink and some golden shimmer. It's not sparkly at all and gives a great sheen to the lips.
The formula is smooth but it's not incredibly moisturizing. It doesn't necessarily dry out my lips, but I find if I use it several days in a row, I get the urge to use a lip balm.
My favorite combination to use with this lipstick is to layer Urban Decay's Naked Lip Junkie over it. It looks gorgeous!

I love this lipstick. I bought it on a clearance sale at Walgreens along with Rosy Nude. I ended up swapping that away as it didn't work with my coloring but kept this one. I use it quite often as it's easy and no thought really needed. It's a great everyday color, price was great and I love the packaging. The one thng they could improve in my opinion is the texture, it's a little dry.

I love Revlon lipsticks and was very excited when I got this Petal shade from Colorburst line. I leaned towards nude shades in the past, so I tried this lovely peachy-pink color for a change. The color is very pretty BUT unfortunately it doesn't show up much on my pigmented lips and medium complexion. I would have to put concealer as base on my lips to make the color show up, and I'm not too fond of doing that coz I prefer to feel the lipstick on my lips, rather than the heavy feel of concealer + lipstick combo. Overall, this lipstick is not bad but the sheerness of Petal color just didn't work with my complexion & lips. I would repurchase in different shade.

I'm so upset that no place around me carries this shade anymore! Such a disappointment, and the lack of availability (and the wear time on this) are the only things keeping me from giving this 5 stars! I saw it on clearance for about $3 and some change, (Psssh, I guess right before it was about to go 'bye bye) and figured why not? It looked like such a gorgeous, natural everyday shade for me and I could seriously kick myself for not getting at least 1 or 2 backups, because for pink MLBB lipsticks, Revlon's Petal and MAC's Creme Cup are my absolute must-haves, and I alternate between those two the most. This takes a few swipes to show up on me, but builds up nicely, so it's not THAT sheer or anything. It's just a very natural color, and may 'blend in' with features. It's a light, neutral pink with just a beautiful dash of golden shimmer. The golden shimmer isn't obvious, it just adds a nice touch of warmth and glowiness to the lips. The lipstick itself is creamy, but not too creamy to where I find that the tube wears down quickly. This actually wore quite well on me if I topped it off with a sticky gloss, but without that gloss, it wore for about an hour, maybe 2 hours if I was lucky. With some lipsticks, I don't mind reapplying if it's a wearable color that makes reapplication simple, but brighter or deeper shades are more high maintenance, and I'm not as lenient on ratings with those. But as far as this one goes, I like the look of it, as well as the feel of it on my lips. Performance is meh, but I love how this can go with almost anything. Oh, and the packaging is great too. :)

This is MUCH more my colour. I purchased this at the same time that I bought soft nude and I actually thought that the soft nude would suit me more.

Pros: The colour really is divine. It seems to suit quite a lot of skin tones and is a great everyday lipstick. The product and packaging are again good quality.

Cons: As with the soft nude I find that unless your lips are in tip top condition underneath it will show up any dryness at all. I find with this and the other revlon lipsticks that I've used that you need to be careful when you blot your lips you will need to reapply because it leaves a almost silver sheen on your lips. This is not a good thing and I find if I'm not careful in my application (it's lipstick it shouldn't be rocket science) then the silver sheen is quite visible. This isn't the first Revlon lip product that I've used that does this.

Apart from that lovely hue and great for day to day use.

I bought this last week and I am so in love with this!!! I love how moisturizing it feels when you put it on and it's nice that there is no need to wear a lip balm underneath. I am constantly looking for a lipstick with a nice moisturizing feel to it and this is it! I've also been searching for a lipstick that I can wear as an everyday lipstick and this works really well with my lips. I like that there is a nice golden mix to this so your lips aren't that matte. I do find that there is really good staying power, I waited about 3 hours before reapplying, which, in my books, is pretty good! There is also no smell to it which is nice. The reason I gave it a 4 is because I find that if you do have chapped lips and you put this on you will be able to see you dry skin and it will be enhanced which can be a bother.

I seriously don't know why this lipstick doesn't get more attention. It's a gorgeous peachy pink nude with golden sheen. It's a lot like a lipstick version of NARS' Orgasm gloss. It's smooth, creamy, and very moisturizing. It's subdued but shows up well on my naturally light pink lips, and goes well with my light olive skin. I recommend this to those who are looking for a nude lip with a little something more. I will definitely be repurchasing this before summer rolls around again. I'm certain this color will look great in the sun.

A nice nude pink with gold shimmer. Wears great, feels good on the lips, but does leave behind some of the shimmer once the color fades away. A nice everyday pinky nude alternative.

I've been looking for a nice, neutral pink lipstick that flatters my skin tone and that I can wear on an everyday basis for ages now, and I've finally found it!!
First of all, the packaging of these colorburst lipsticks are fantastic. They are adorable, and I love the square shape and how the color is shown on the top of the lipsticks.
The formula is great as well - very moisturizing, no need for a lipstick or balm over it.. literally just swipe on and go.
It's a gorgeous color for my fair skin for everyday - I have fairly big lips so wearing lipstick on an everyday basis is not something I do often, since it can look very overdone. The color is sheer but not sheer enough to not show up.
A beautiful neutral pink with slight gold shimmer, and NOT frosty.
I will definitely repurchase.

This disappointed me when I tried it on over my cocoa butter lipbalm. The color is extremely sheer and I find that it seems like a mix of Soft Nude and Baby Pink (discontinued) CB lippies on my lips. It is a peachy pink with bits of golden shimmer in it which makes it, in theory, a great daily lippie, but the lack of pigmentation and lasting power made it sub-par compared to the other--older CB lipsticks from Revlon. I will not repurchase and I'll use up the one I have by mixing it with other shades.

I absolutely LOVE this colour...its a peachy-pink with VERY noticeable golden shimmers in it that sort of make it look duochromey. it's fantastic. A little pricey but worth it if you can find a sale! I think this would look nice on a variety of skintones :)

Honestly wasn't the color I was expecting once I got it home. Not near the color on the tube but not a disappointment either. I like this because it's a neutral peachy pink kindve frosty but not overly frosty lipstick that feels like a lip balm. good for everyday, throw it on and go. I like it.

I'm really surprised by the low rating for this lipstick. Perhaps its too subtle for many.

It is lovely!!!!

For me, a NC20, this is a really pretty MLBB pale pink with fine gold shimmer. Not icky-frosty-eww--This is very subtle and makes your lips glow. (I hate frosted lipstick!!) It gives balance to the face when heavier eye makeup is applied or is suitable for a natural look.

I really like this! One gripe is the smell. Thankfully it goes away in 2 mins. I was really worried when I first applied it but it's definitely my MLBB. For me, it feels like a lip balm and it adds a bit of shine and (micro) shimmer so I really like this lipstick. This lipstick doesn't really last long but that's not a huge deal for me since it's a sheer colour
