Only put no to buying this again....because I will never run out! This is an amazing amount of makeup for only about $50. While I do not use this every day, it is nice having colors I can reach for if I'm feeling a certain look that day. Almost all the color are nicely pigmented with the exception of a few. The eyeliners are only good really to put in a clutch or evening bag for touch ups. The applicators get tossed as with most palette's do. Haven't dared to try the blushes or bronzer because my skin is so sensitive. I love having this palette to do my friend's makeup or for a crazy eye look. Used this a week ago to do everyones prom makeup and it lasted through the night! A good buy if you are fickle like me and like to change it up. You have almost EVERY color you could need.

I received this palette for Christmas and was really excited. The eye shadows come in a great variety of colors and are very pigmented. I've found a few of the lip glosses that I like but some of them just don't seem to show up as well as they should, so that was a bit disappointing. The eyeliners don't last as long as I would like but they are pretty and creamy, a bit nicer than I expected. The pencil eyeliners and lip liners are ok, but the lip liners weren't any colors that I wear. The brushes were terrible but I expected that from a kit. I l-o-v-e the blushes! They go on nicely and stay for quite a while. I love the compactness of the whole kit and was over-all very pleased with it! ..Plus the tiny mascara was so cute!

The Sephora 2010 BlockBuster Pallete is a very good product for everyday use. The colors are great and have lots of varitey and are well pimented. The blushes, I believe, are very hard to use beacuse the pigment is to dark and will make you look like a clown. The lipglosses are easy and light, and you dont have to put on alot to achieve your desired color. However, the brushes are terrible, which I can understand. The Lip Liners arn't any colors I use so that's a thumbs down. The other stick and cream liners are great! I would reccomend for anybody to buy it!

The perfect gift.... for little girls. I wanted this palette sooo badly, I just had to have it. I didn't hesitate to buy it because of all the positive reviews on Sephora's website. I couldn't wait for this to come in the mail. I was somewhat disappointed when it arrived. The lip glosses are highly pigmented and pretty. The blush and bronzers go on quite nice and very pigmented as well. Those I might add are the nicest items in the palette. There were a couple of eyeshadows that went on very pretty, the rest of them didn't show up and had an extremely chalky texture. The mascara was VERY poor quality, Wet n' Wild probably has a better mascara. The creme eyeliner goes on very dark and pigmented at first, but within 20 minutes it was completely faded and smudged all over my eyelids. I looked like I got punched in the face twice. The applicators... lets not even go there. haha! For a women I don't recommend this (especially if you love makeup as much as I do.) But for a 9 year old, there is endless possibilities with all the colors.

The eye-shadows are great for this product, but if you were looking to use everything in this product, I recommend you just buy something else.. The eye liners smudge, they don't work great, they don't go on smoothly, they also don't go on dark enough, for goodness sakes my elf eye liner works a whole lot better, and it sucks pretty bad. The lip liners are okay, but maybe I just don't like the colors given. The blushes and lip glosses are fine, but the lip glosses don't last very long. The mascara on the other hand, I really like it, it doesn't clump my lashes at all, although you might have to do some wiping off if you blink and don't let it dry. The gel liners work okay, but they still smudge. Overall? I really am just satisfied with the eye-shadows and mascara only.. Might as well buy different kits or the make-up seperately.

This palette has an enormous amount of makeup. For the price, I think its a great value for all that you get. So far, everything that I have gotten to use has been of good quality. The eyeshadows are very pigmented and come in warm and cool tones. The lip glosses are all very neat shades to work with and seem to last for a while, I like to mix the shades to create custom shades. Although there are a lot of sheer glosses included, there are also some shades that don't need to be laid on thick to achieve a bold lip. I love the gel eyeliners that you get in this (there are 6 - black, purple, blue, brown, green & pink). You get 2 lip liners, 3 eyeliners, & a mascara -all minis. I don't agree with another reviewer who said that the liners and mascara are drugstore quality. I have a full size in the mascara that is included in this kit and I like it. I also really like the eyeliners and lip liners, they seem to work just as good as some designer brands. The 3 blushes are very pigmented so you must be careful not to pile it on, just a gentle swipe & tap with your blush brush will do. The brushes included are not great but that is to be expected. I think if I was traveling and this kit was all I had to use, the brushes would do just fine. This was a great gift to myself, I'm glad I got this. I would purchase this kit again, but I doubt I will use up all the makeup in this anytime soon.

My biggest M/U challenge is to find colors that flatter my deep caramel skin w/ warm undertones. After reading several Sephora reviews, I decided to go ahead and buy this. I won't go as far as to say I LOVE it, but I definitely like it. I've only tried a couple of the bolder colors, and they feel creamy, not chalky. Sephora's eye shadows and lip glosses have improved - the shadows and creamy and well pigmented, the glosses feel light (not gloppy and plasticky). This is a nice palette for experimentation and daytime looks, and the case is nice and compact. But if you want subtle washes of color and complicated blended effects, there's no substitute for the high end brands.

The Sephora Limited Edition Collection Blockbuster palette for 2010's holiday season is *the* gift to give (or get).
Typically the main problem with palettes is the poor pigmentation of the eyeshadows. Here, the eyeshadows are well pigmented, the colors are versatile enough to create any look, and I cannot sing the praises of the cream eyeliners enough! They're bold and allow me to experiment with looks I otherwise wouldn't get to try (because I'd never get around to buying these colors individually). The blushes are also intensely pigmented and require some control in application, or else it'll go on too strong.
One concern about the shadows and blushes: they give off quite a bit of excess dust that needs to be constantly blown off if you want to keep the palette clean.
The lip glosses are less pigmented and require a bit of layering work to achieve the desired color, but I love the range of tints and hues. They're great for mixing and matching to blend a custom signature color.
Eyeliner pencils, lipliners, and the mascara are drugstore quality. Although I'm not a fan, they're suitable for their purposes and a good addition to the kit. The brushes are blah, but I've never liked the complementary brushes in palettes anyway.
For such an affordable price, the lower grade plastic packaging is to be expected. As long as you don't toss it around, it'll be fine. It definitely will need to be handled with care, or a tray or two might break off. In spite of the fragile packaging, the size is compact and travel-friendly.
Is this a palette for the professional makeup artist? No. But for everyday use by the Everygirl and her occasional glam event? Perfect. I'm thrilled with this purchase and with the holidays coming soon, this will be one of my go-to gift items for my girly loved ones.
