I have been using Laneige products for 7-8 years now. The water sleeping pack is my favourite product out of the entire range. I usually use this when my skin is looking a little dull and I have no time to put on a sheet mask before sleeping. I also used this throughout university when I was running on very little sleep. It really does hydrate the skin and makes it soft and plump for the next morning. If you have dull skin, this puts the moisture back into your skin and makes it glow the next day. The only downside is that it's a little messy when you go to sleep. If you roll around too much, the mask will literally come off throughout the night. Also, best results are seen when you sleep at least 7-8 hours. I have sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts and this did not break me out. Keep in mind that other Laneige products no longer work on my skin. I would repurchase for sure.

Recently, I have been using the Laneige 6 piece hydration kit. I am so glad that I did not purchase the full sized products. The water sleeping mask is a very light, gel-like texture. The product does have a light scent. When applied to the skin, it feels extremely nice. However, not so hydrating. The entire kit does provide SO much hydration and my skin feels so smooth after the application. The sleeping mask just feels nice to the touch but there is no effective difference or hydration. The kit overall is so amazing and extremely hydration. It did break me out though. So definitely not reccomended for acne prone skin. I usually don't have morning pimples after I wake up. But everyday since I have been using this I would wake up with a new break out. Great for hydration, not so much for acne prone skin.

Laneige recently repackaged and renamed this product under 'Sleeping Mask'- and it's now 70ml instead of 80ml :(

This was my first sleeping pack/mask of Korean making and it is still my favorite. All others I try have a hard time surpassing it! However, because it is a tad pricy I have wandered and purchased others, none I like quite as much as far, but this is still my HG and I love nights when I use it!

So, let's get down to business- use this AFTER all other products, you can use it instead of your moisturizer but I wouldn't really suggest using it all alone, it's real job is to be a booster for all the other products in your regimen so as to increase their productivity in making you beautiful! Haha! Texture is a rich gel, very easy to manipulate and you don't need a whole lot to cover your face, but I have had zero issues with acne coming from this so by all means slather it on if you wish! My LARGEST recommendation is that if you are planning on applying this, do it AT LEAST 20 minutes before you get in bed, this stuff takes FOREVER to really soak in especially if you've applied a thicker layer and it will make your face stick to your pillow if you do not let it soak in first.
Once you wake up, your face will look nice and bright and zero dryness if you've layered it properly. When washing it off you will feel a film rise and wash away, proof to me that it lasts through the night and really does create a mask to hold in all of the benefits of your skincare.
The ONLY other downside is that it is in a jar! Use a spoon/spatula (provided) to measure it out and keep away contamination! Overall, if you're curious and are okay forking over $25, try it out! I highly, HIGHLY doubt you'll regret it!

Was using Hada Labo's moisturizer previously and decided to try this since it's highly raved by many online and friends. Was really surprised to see how quickly the moisturizer got absorbed into the skin - fastest I have ever seen. Skin felt really supple and moisturized immediately and the next day after I woke up. Pricing is still pretty affordable! Would definitely be sticking to this for a long time. :)

This was ok. There was a huge hype about it when it launched at Sephora, so I thought I'd try it. It hydrates your skin like it claims but if you have very dry skin like me, you'll be disappointed when you wash it off in the morning. After I washed my face in the morning, I saw zero difference in my skin. It wasn't even hydrated. I find the whole "water" mask to be so pointless, especially because I look for masks that are nourishing and beneficial to my skin in the long run. If you're younger and have great skin, and you're looking for a reasonable priced mask to pamper yourself with once in a while, you'd like this. But if you're 25, with dry skin, like me, this will do nothing. It's also HEAVILY scented. I imagined it smelling fresh due to its name, but instead it smelled like roses and cheap purfume. I was willing to keep this for calming purposes, like when my skin gets irritated and needs something cooling, but I really couldn't get over the strong purfume. I ended up returning it for the Clinique Moisture Surge Mask, which is a million times better for your skin!

MUA laneige is NOT EXPENSIVE!!
Go to target! Depending on the item it is half the price you would find it at yiur local Amore/Aritaum/Korean mom and pop store!

My third sleeping pack.
It moisturized.
3 stars because that's all it did.
I mean it smells great like peaches, is cool to the touch. Nice gel-like consistency, but I like my Sulwhasoo better.
I now want my sleeping pack to do more than just hydrate.

Price is great at 28 bucks vs. 40 at the local Korean boutique.

Packaging is meh. Not hygienic because you have to scoop it out with a spatula.
that means you have to wash the said spatula.
I am lazy. If you make it into a pump then I don't have to do that.
If you make it into a squeeze tube then I guess i can cut it and scoop out what's left.
It's bulky and heavy.

Sleeping packs are my favorite Beauty items. I tried many, but this is one I keep coming back to. My facial washes tend to dry out my face, but this pack is super moisturizing and does wonders for my face.

THIS IS LITERALLY THE BEST THING EVER.
yes, it's the best thing that ever happened to me. I have never experienced something this wonderful. It's amazing to put on and very cool to the touch. At first I asked around and the salesgirl said it comes out in two flavors. Original and Strawberry yogurt. Granted the yogurt one does smell amazing but I don't feel like thinking I put food on my face when I go to sleep, so I purchased this one. It cost at around 200 RMB when I bought it in China, which comes to roughly 30 dollars here in NA. It's great and light. Like literally smudging a piece of condensed cold water onto your face. It reminds me of the pink moisturizer by Clinique, but this one retains its consistency even after 8 hours of sleeping. In the morning when I rub my face I am able to feel the excess drying lotions coming off, where the essence is already absorbed into my skin.
Of course the difference in skin feel is great. Your face feels fantastically supple and amazing to touch.

My 3rd tub. Does not give miracles but is indeed a "daily" night moisturizer. Moisturizing properties are okay okay and not fantastic. However it has a really nice smell and is NOT oily/cakey/greasy at all which is why I like it. It isn't exactly a mask LOL because it is not super moisturizing but more of a daily moisturizer to me.
