This is my favorite red! I do not like pinkish nail polishes, I think they look cheap and fake. Many red polishes tend to look like cheap Barbie polishes, but this one does not! This is a nice, deep, creamy red. One coat will not suffice, you need at least two to get a nice color buildup. Three is optimal. This polish is chip resistant and highly pigmented. A little goes a long way. This is a keeper.

I just rediscovered this gem in my nail polish stash. I think the last time I wore this red I was probably tanner and didn't like it as much. Right now I'm between NC15 and NC20 (pale, neutral-warm, peaches & cream skintone) and Red, Red Rhine is so perfect on my toes. It doesn't pull warm or cool on me, just a glamorous deep red creme-- perfect for Winter. This would be holy grail if it wasn't discontinued.

Too bad this is discontinued. I would buy this color again any day of the week. Awesome red.

This particular colour has been discontinued but I managed to find one on Ebay for $12.90.
I love this red, it is my favourite red from OPI so far. It is classic, deep, dark red with neutral undertones, I can't see either blue or orange in this polish. I have a neutral undertones on my skin so this suits very well against my fair -almost white- skin. Very sophisticated looking!
Update/ Very gloopy and slow to dry even with Seche Vite. It is a pain in my ass to apply it.

Red Red Rhine, a beautiful deep blood red with a brown undertone. The creme formula is quite rich that it's not a bright red. This red is suitable for all skin tone and I think it's a kind of red for fall/winter. The application is good though I need to use 3 coats to get a good coverage. The downside is it chips easily but I still rate it a 5 because this red is very sexy.

gorgeous, classic, elegant, somewhat muted dark brick red with brown/yellow undertones... no shimmer/frost, just a lovely cream finish. this is my go-to red. love it.

A classy blood red that is somehow beautiful and scary at the same time. Not quite siren, more like a wonderful deep red that goes nicely with fair Asian skin.

Red Red Rhine is a red creme slightly on the deeper side of medium. It is not bright at all and came out much more neutral against my fair, cool-toned skin than I was expecting. I got a nice glossy finish with this one and it lasted all week. I love red cremes for my pedis and am happy to have this one in my polish collection.

A deep red, not a bright one, and neutral enough that it looks good on my pale, warm-toned skin. Check that -- it looks fabulous on my pale, warm-toned skin. Truly a classy, go-with-everything red. I like it best with three coats -- rich, but not yet vampy.

If you like a working red, this will be the one... creamy with no shimmer nor pearl, this is a basic red that is neutral... not incline to be warm or cool...

Very pretty blood red with a cream finish. Very opaque and rich looking. This color just didn't work on me, but would be pretty on the right skintone.

I got this color for my latest salon pedicure. Wanted a new red (yes, they're not all the same) so I picked Red Red Rhine. In the bottle the color looked like a deep neutral red with some very very slight shimmer. Applied to my toes, the finish is more like a cream. And it's not a blood or deep red on me as the other reviewers has said. It's orange red and my feet look so darn dirty :*(
Even my mom asked if I've been out in the sun or tanning. Nope, I was in the hospital for a few days and then bedrest for another week, I wanted red toes to cheer me up. This is not the color. I'm going back to my blue based cool toned reds. I will not purchase this color.

This is a fairly true, medium shade of red (I'm NC30/35). Very, very pretty, but not an everyday kind of red for me since it's a touch on the bright side. I also found it a bit streaky and difficult to apply, but I usually have this trouble with cremes. Would probably repurchase.

This is a flat deep blood red color, there is no shimmer or pearlescent finish. This color is great for a basic classy red (think Gwen Stefani) or for the holidays, this serves its' purpose for Xmas parties. I wouldn't use this color as an everyday color, but it would go great as a toenail polish.

My ultimate HG red that is appropriate for all the seasons. With just 2 coats its a great colour, long lasting (was chip free for well over a week & I definately wasn't careful), not gloggy like I found with Italian Love Affair. I always get compliments and questions about the shade when I wear it because of this I have become a red convert from the more natural and pale pink shades. It looks great particularly on PPPs. Highly recommended!

As others have mentioned, this is a true blood red, no shimmer. This is a polish one could wear year round; I pulled it out of my collection because I wanted to wear a "ghoulish" red but I find it looks very glam on my newly-cropped fingernails. It is an intense shade, not for the demure. Update, 3/23/07: I came to do a review of this one and realized I had already reviewed it! Well, I am still loving this polish, especially on shorter nails. I've had the bottle a few years and it still applies smoothly, evenly, and without any streaking. Glam, elegant polish.. I adore this shade!

This particular OPI red is pretty true to what you see in the bottle. I hate blue reds so I was worried after applying one coat of this color because it appeared almost fuschia. After two coats, it's more blood red. Three coats and it's dark and sultry red. What I love about OPI is that you can (almost) skip a top coat and it'll still wear a long time.

Although this color is similar to Revlon's Raven Red, it's still gorgeous. It is the perfect deep red for my skin tone that looks good on both my tips & toes. I'll more than likely buy another bottle if I ever finish this one.

was looking for a nice deep red that wasnt burgandy, and this in the bottle matched exactly what i wanted. too bad its bright red. sort of like just red red. a little too bright for me, though i like it, its not what was expected.
