The only good thing about this is the cute packaging. Other than that, it does nothing for me. I was looking for a primer that would keep my eye shadow set for at least my 8 hrs of work. Nope didn't do anything. I think I paid twenty dollars, wouldn't even pay five if I knew how much it was going to such (for me at least).

This stuff is an absolute godsend. My lids are slightly oily and so my eyeshadow (it doesn't matter if it's powder or even a long lasting formula) always creases after a few hours. Since i have been using this i have had no creases!!!!! Fantastic. You only need a tiny bit so the tube will last for ages - esp for me since i only use eyeshadow about once ot twice a week!!! Thank you Urban Decay for this little life saver

The best primer ever! I've been using this stuff for years and the professional size is the way to go. My shadow always looks freshly done, even 12 hours into my day. I have tried other eye primers through the years but I always come back to UDPP. It is an absolute necessity in my makeup kit.

I'd read all the hype so purchased this primer potion as I spend so much time looking for eyeshadow that lasts. Ive probably spent a fortune in the process. So I've found out for myself this is amazing. I am genuinely surprised at how it does what it claims since so many products don't. I apply the cream, then on with the eyeshadow usually by about 3 hours my eyeshadow has worn off, not anymore! I am so thrilled to keep checking throughout the day and finding my eyeshadow still freshly intact. Although this is pricey it's well worth it if you want your eyeshadow to stay looking good all day without boring touch ups.

Simple concept - develop a base that holds an eyeshadow in place, right?
Well, I've yet to find my HG eye primer but this comes very close.
Pros: A very little spreads very nicely acrxoss both eyes. It actually works, keeping my eyeshadow in place for hours, even on hot days. It's clear on the skin. So far, every eyeshadow I own spreads more evenly on this primer than without it. Colors are closer to pan using this primer.
Cons: It seems to accentuate fine lines. Maybe it's just me. It is ever so subtle but there. In addition, it makes my eyes look drier altogether. Again, it's very subtle, but there.

Purchased this to stop my eyeshadow from melting into the crease of my eye. I was very impressed with the results it keeps my eyeshadow on all day and night long. I will not wear eyeshadow without using primer at this point this is my favorite. I found the price to be pretty average as the MAC eye paints are about the same price.

I'm glad I bought this. I bought it on the recommendation of a friend, who told me that this primer stops her eyeshadow from going anywhere.
And she's right. My eyeshadow doesn't go ANYWHERE when I use this stuff. Mine used to crease and look like crap within a couple of hours, no matter what I did. I bought this stuff, and I haven't had a problem since.
And the professional size was only $20 for a huge tube. It's a great deal. I haven't had any issues so far.
But, I highly recommend this primer.

LOVE this! I do a smokey eye every day and this primer makes it so easy to have saturated colour in one go. I tend to have oily eyelids and UD's primer potion makes it last ALL day. Very easy to spread and dries relatively quickly (but not immediate so you have time to spread it around). No creasing, no fading of the powder eyeshadow and eye liner. Really like the squeeze tube as there is no wasted product.

I love this product. It's well worth the money. In my opinion, it is important having a great primer just like it is important having great foundation. The new packaging is great. I'm glad they discontinued the old wand packaging. There was money going to waste in that bottle! Anyway, my eyeshadow(s) do not crease and it stays put! Great product, a must have in your make up kit!

Love this stuff! It makes my shadow stay put with no creasing. I also love that they packaged this is a squeeze bottle because the wand version left so much product in the tube that you couldn't use because you couldn't get it out!

This stuff sucks big time...makes my eyeshadow crease after ONLY a couple hours, I will never buy again....
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium Hair: Blond Eyes: Brown
This eyeshadow primer works wonders! Keeps eyeshadow looking as though it was just applied for 16+ hours. A little pricey but COMPLETELY worth the money.

What can I say about such a WONDERFUL product? I had tried many different primers in the past and they always came up short (creasing, not lasting all day, too tacky when dry). I tried this one for the first time when I bought the Naked Palette and got this as a sample.
This stuff is like gold for eyeshadows! Goes on super smooth and dries to a transparent finish. Eyeshadows - any brand - go on smoothly and allow you to blend colors seamlessly.
When I heard there was a professionnal size, I was like "WHAT?!?! I must have it!!". I enjoy the tube because you can squeeze out just the right amount.
True story: I've put my makeup on at 6 am, slept with my makeup on (I know it's no good!) and woken up the next morning, literally 24 hours later, and my makeup was still flawless! Through crazy hot summer days, rigorous biking, aerobics, kick-boxing and dancing, this stuff never fails!
I would never put on my eyeshadows without the primer potion! I just hope this stuff is never taken off the shelves!

The first time I used this I was like yes this primer is great my foundation on my eye hasnt moved it doesn't look dry and then I applyed my eyeshadow holy moly I looked horrible!!! It made my eyes look really dry and flakey but it did hold the eyeshadow but it just looked wrong even my mother noticed. I have the too faced primer and I deffintly prefer that but I find with that primer it doesn't hold well after a couple of hrs. Il try mix the two and let u know how it goes

Love this under eyeshadow primer. I switched from Clinque for convenience purposes. It is light and does the trick. My eyeshadow doesn't crease and stays fresh for the whole day and evening.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Medium Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
i originally bought it a few months ago and started to use it. I didn't wear it long enough to really know if i liked it. I then lost it! So i re- bought it a couple weeks ago and absolutely love it! It keeps all of my eyeshadow on and really retains the original color. The reason it was voted a 4 was because in my creases it always seemed to bunch and get darker than the rest of my lids. But other than that the packaging is very compact and heavy duty. I will definitely repurchase!

I cannot believe I have never tried this until now, its a truly amazing primer- and it really lives up to the hype. For the last few years, I have been using the MAC Painterly Paint Pot as my primer- and the last few months, it seemed like it wasn't working anymore. I always use the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in 'Milk' over my eyeshadow primer, it makes my eyeshadows pop- and its daily staple- I also use it over UDPP, and they work beautifully together. My eyeshadows haven't creased once since I started using this, I even started using my NYX Ultra Pearl Mania loose shadows again, those creased to high heaven- and now they dont. This primer works well with my my shadows, anything from MAC, Urban Decay, and Wet n' Wild. I purchased the proffesional size because I heard the original usually held quite a bit at the bottom that was unreachable because of the wand. I also figured this would last me awhile. A fantastic product.

I loved the original, but the big tube dried out.

I've been using UDPP for awhile and have used the original version with a wand, the regular sized tube and the pro tube. The product inside has been exactly the same in quality and consistency. The squeeze tube is great because you get all the product out and you don't need to fiddle with a wand. The pro size is great because I use it literally every day, under eyeshadow or alone to mattify my eyelids, and the larger size means I don't have to purchase as often. I have a tube at my apartment at school and one at home so on vacations, I'm not carrying as much makeup back and forth.
Not sure why some people are reporting dryness/chalky product. I've had my current pro-sized tube since July and it's the same creamy consistency now as when I bought it. Maybe you got a bad batch? I've never had a problem with the formula at any point since I started using it. It's the same formula and ingredients so the amount shouldn't affect the actual product :/

I was looking through my mom's makeup when I noticed this. It didn't look like it had been used much so I tried it and let me say: She has been missing out!
I was a bit surprised by primer potion. I usually used concealor, and was quite skeptical of primer potion. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed how my shadows got brighter when I used it.
I like this product, but-mainly due to the price and amount I still have- I don't think I'd buy it again.
