I honestly don't know what to think about this gloss. On the one hand, I absolutely love how it hydrates my lips and the color is very beautiful (it is a true berry color on me), and the brush is actually very convenient but it goops up on me when I use several layers (and I have to do that otherwise I just can't distribute the color evenly) and highlights any dry flakes I may have. Maybe, it's just me and the fact that I prefer lipsticks over glosses. I will definitely finish this one but I don't think I will repurchase

I think the Extrait de Gloss series is my favorite out of all of the glosses I own -- and while these little wands are expensive, they are worth it! Emoi is my most recent acquisition (for comparison, I have Insouciance, Imaginaire and have tried Génie and Fatale).
Emoi is a cool-toned, blue-based raspberry. It is a bit too much for me to pull off every day, but it's a very pretty evening or special event color. Even sheerly applied, Emoi is pretty vivid on me. It's very flattering on cooler skin tones, though, and like all of the glosses in this series, it truly is much longer wearing than standard lip gloss. It's slightly sticky (which I believe adds to its longevity), but not bothersome. I love the glass wands (which clicks so you know it's closed properly!), too -- they're weighty and luxurious.
For reference: NW5-10, NARS Siberia.

ADORE this gloss. Great for everyday makeup and I use for nights out also. Perfect pop of colour for my fair skin and blue eyes. Great texture and love the packaging. It is a raspberry bluish tinge colour, so make sure it suits your skin tone. Will repurchase over and over as my go to lip colour.

This is a lipgloss for grown-ups! for a start, the sleek, black glossy ceramic tube is utmost elegant and chic (con: you can't reallly see how much you've used up).
I like the consistency and the shade. The shade (Emoi #58) is a vibrant pink raspberry with blue undertones.
Definitely a cool shade and makes your teeth whiter than white!! (this is the plus of this gloss).
Then it's a no shimmer one, and super glossy, more than the glossimers.
Lasts a decent 3 hours on my lips (with lipliner) and is buildable, one layer is good for a polished looks, two or three coats for a more strong looks.
I like it very much - no taste and a a faint smell - it's not sticky at all (much less than the glossimers) and very very posh. Definitely a must try.

A decent lip gloss, I love the colour, suits my everyday make-up. The colour tends to disappear but the gloss stays on your lips for hours. I would rate it 5 out of five if I didn't buy some better glosses this winter.

Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss is a quality product in its sleek black square tube. Emoi is a deep berry pink on me (NW25) and the consistency of the gloss is wonderful - it just glides on so smoothly without being sticky and it has a smooth clear shine. It feels very comfortable on the lips. It's heavier than the Aqualumieres but still has translucency and it lasts very well without bleeding over the lipline. The applicator is a shaped doe-foot which is designed to contain the perfect amount of gloss for one application without having to reinsert it into the tube. I find this one application is perfect for me, but the colour can be intensified and deepened by adding more layers. I love this gloss!

I am lighter than NW15, neutral-toned but leaning towards cool. I wear Make Up For Ever Face & Body Foundation in #38. I purchased the new Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss in 3 shades: #55 Confidence (LE), #58 Emoi, and #61 Fatale. I had only planned on buying Confidence and Fatale, but after trying on Emoi I had to have it and I think it actually might be my favorite of the 3. The color is a medium-to-dark raspberry-rose shade with very, very small and very, very subtle gold shimmer. It looks amazing over Amusing or Romantic Rouge Allure lipsticks. The formula is very nice - thick, but not sticky, with a jelly-like finish that is slightly more opaque than you'd get with most Glossimers. The applicator is a double-sided doe-foot that is a littly flimsy, but nearly as much as I'd expected. The packaging is classic Chanel - opaque black with gold accenting (not see-through glass tubes as the testers are at counters), slighly taller than the the lipsticks or Rouge Allure Laques, but not as tall as the Glossimers. The RA Extrait de Glosses contain slightly more product than a Glossimer as well - 0.28 oz as opposed to 0.19oz. They are quite expensive glosses at $32 (Glossimers are $27), but I find them to be well worth the price. I will absolutely be repurchasing this shade, and other RA Extrait de Glosses in the future.
EDIT 1/11/11: After wearing these glosses for a couple months, I've noticed that they tend to bleed more than any other glosses that I've tried. I decided to take 1 lippie off for this. It's not a huge problem, and wearing a lip liner can help, but it is annoying and I have never had this problem with the glossimers. I still love these glosses though and still recommend them.

This is a great lipgloss that isn't too thick or goopy or even funky smelling. I'm not sure what it smells like, but it's a faint but pleasant smell. Emoi is a reddish berry colour that isn't over the top. If you are looking towards the reds but are afraid of going for a bold red and instead would like to try a softer colour, I really suggest you try this one out. The packaging is really sleek too - it's a shiny black tube.

This is Chanel's best lip gloss! The texture is so light, yet very smooth and creamy. Excellent pigmentation. Emoi is a soft raspberry red color. Not too dramatic and it can be worn alone or on top of a lipstick. I tried this at Bloomigdales on top of Rouge Allure Emotive l/s, a berry red color. I fell in love with both.
As for how long the gloss lasts when worn, it's hard to tell at the moment. I've had Emoi on the last 2 hours and so far, I have not had to reapply.
Color selection of this line is very limited. I saw about 8 testers out. But as with any Chanel product, it's great quality.
I encourage anyone to at least drop by the Chanel counter and have a look.
