I love this color, and I love cream eyeshadow, but this formula does not stay on my eyelids all day, as it advertises. I need some work to make it last: layer primer underneath, or another longer lasting cream shadow. Its very pricey for the amount as well. It has a very peculiar feel: very bouncy. Its very smooth and creamy feeling, and blends easily.

I love mac paint pots but wanted to branch out to other lines. Unfortunately, this did not live up to mac. The color is a gorgeous taupe. I wore satin taupe over this and loves the look it gave, really beautiful! But it only stayed on half the day. I found my shadow disappeared on my lid by the middle of the day. Other negatives are the container. It is so small I could only use a brush to get the product. Won't buy another one.

This is a beautiful brown shimmery eyeshadow that I would use for a special occasion. Because of its shimmer, I wouldn't use it for everyday natural look. However, I would definitely use it about every time I go out somewhere with my friends or family! Not only is it very pigmented, but also it is smooth on my eyelid that it doesn't irritate my eyes. I'm a contact lens user, so I know very well when a shimmer irritates my eyes. Without primer, it lasts more than most of the powder eyeshadows of other companies that I've owned. I recommend you use your fingers or spongetip applicator. I like to use sponge, which works very well with this cream eyeshadow. I don't recommend regular brushes. Get a pan of your favorite color! It's so worth it~

This is a lovely, highly shimmery neutral. I see a few people saying that it creased on them, but I've had no problem with creasing, with or without a primer. Pretty on its own, but also very easy to blend powder shadows on top of.
Here's the thing- Bad to the Bronze cream eyeshadow from Maybelline is a VERY similar colour to this (different consistency though), but it's a little less shimmery than Bare Escentuals Mutt. If you want a cheaper dupe, go for the Maybelline!

I agree with the previous review. I thought this would be a nice addition to my collection since the swatches online looked fantastic. But its just way too shimmery for my taste. Great color though. I will not repurchase.

Mutt:
This product is ok, I wont return it but doubt I'll re purchase. Here's my take:
It looks very deep and interesting in the jar, but the payoff is basically a bronzish wash of glitter. It crease horibbly as an all over wash, tried it alone and over primer. I have found this works best over other shadows to add ooph/sparkle. It DOES last all day when used this way and is quite pretty over matte shadows like UD Naked or Buck. Again, its mostly the sparkle that shows up. The photo I took is over Naked(right)and on my bare arm(left), I did 3 strokes each re dipping my brush between strokes.
The best method I have found for application is with a flat paddle shaped brush. Using my fingers gives zero control and results in product where I dont want it, & hardly any color payoff. This can be built up a little as long as its over another shadow.
The texture is very smooth, gel- like and bouncy to the touch. I have a feeling these will dry out very easily if im not religious about closing the jar tightly.
I think the price point is high considering the limited capability and the jar is TINY. Overall, its not horrible and I would like it much better if it cost less or was larger sized. The cap is no larger than a nickle and the circumference of the actual product is smaller than a dime.

I love this eyeshadow. I tend to have oily skin, and without any primer, this product lasts me the whole day. Easy to work in with finger. Doesn't have to much shimmer, which makes it very wearable for day or night. Love it!

Love these shadows and Mut is my favorite of all the available shades. It's a perfect lid color for a simple wash or on the outer corner and crease. Stays all day and has the right amount of shimmer for daytime (not as disco-ball-ish as the Chanel mousse shadows).

This is one of my favorite shadows. I love the sparky bronze color. I always use Urban Decay primer before using these shadows & have not had any creasing issues with them. They are very easy to apply with your finger.

I really like these cream eyeshadows. They apply nicely and have a soft, mousse-like texture. My only problem is that they crease after a couple of hours (even after setting with an eyeshadow) and they are a bit expensive at around $17 each (CDN). They don't have a wide-range of colours, either. So although it's a nice product, it's not for you if you're looking for something long-wearing.

Hmmmm....the color is superb but the texture of this/these shadow(s) is just downright weird.I think the colors seduce you but the "spongy" nature of the product is hard to work with - best with your finger - no brushes!- and I have to admit I bought several but took one back and bought a MUFE just like it which lasts longer and is much, much more vivid! I will admit that the green color is one I might get again, it is so pretty. Otherwise, be careful - the colors don't last long and I suspect will go fast since there isn't much product in each little bottle.

I actually own this product in "Golden Retriever" its a rich coppery gold color. It is so beautiful and highly pigmentated. I will probably need a primer in the warmer months because it fades a little because i have somewhat oily skin. Its a cream to powder, but works well with a brush. Each shadow is named after a dog....*cute*. I plan on purchasing (3) more of this shadow in other colors. Just beautiful!!!!!

This product is great! The packaging is hard to work with becuase i apply it with my finger and it comes in a small pot. The color is such a pretty bronzish gold color. Its easy to apply becuase its creamy and it stays on great even wihtout primer.

This is my second Buxom Stay There Eyeshadow. I also have Pug. I love these shadows. I find them very long wearing and versatile. I apply with a brush, and get nice control, unlike many creme shadows. I love to layer other powder shadows over these, as they have a sheer, but buildable quality that allows for a lot of different looks to be acheived. This particular color is a great everday, all by itself shadow for those less adventurous:) My only issue is that I go through it rather quickly, perhaps because of it's mousselike texture, so the price is a little steep.

I bought this eyeshadow as part of my birthday present to myself last month, and I was hesitant because it is so expensive. I really do like it, though I still think there is no reason it should cost so much. The Sephora site says that part of the proceeds for this product goes to Canin Companions for assistance dogs, so at least I don't feel completey robbed.
Just a little dab with my finger and I can cover my whole eyelid, so this stuff should last forever. The consistency is different than most creme eyeshadows I have tried. It goes on very smooth and creamy, not patchy at all, but the weird thing is that it never really dries; so it goes on very sheer, but you can't really build it up, it just keeps moving around and blending back to sheer. It doesn't crease or fade, and I can add powders over it easily (some creme eyeshadows get pretty gross when I do that). It just isn't the product for people who like really bold, opaque eyeshadow.
There is a brush that sells with it, but it is about $17 all over again, and honestly it just looks like any old eye contour brush. I tried applying the shadow with a brush but it didn't apply any differently that way. I also am never a fan of eyshadows in pots, because I have long nails and can't ever get the product out of there without a huge mess. It is a cute little pot though, and super sturdy. You could drop this all day.
I might actually try a few more of these; I was afraid of the brighter shades but since they apply so sheer that might actually be perfect. I will just have to save up for awhile...sigh.
Edit: Got the color Bulldog for Christmas (a very bright-looking med-dark blue), and again, it goes on much sheerer than it looks in the pot. I like that about it, though. Don't be afraid of those bright colors!

While the general colour of this product is absolutely gorgeous, the lasting power of it is not. This is a bronzey taupe eyeshadow and I was seduced into purchasing it from several positive blog posts and an article in MORE magazine recommending it for more *cough*mature*cough* women. It's texture is unusual, it's very "springy" and best applied with your fingers. I have used it by itself and over UDPP. Applied alone it creases and fades within just a few hours. With UDPP, and letting the UDPP dry down, it lasts a bit longer, but still has fading issues. I really wish I could give it an enthusiastic endorsement, but I can not, the colour is very pretty and it makes me angry that it doesn't have the lasting power it claims to have. I'm not going to get rid of it, but it's something I use on a casual Saturday when I just want a little "something" on the eyes. I would not recommend this to anyone wanting a long wearing cream shadow. For that I would say stick to Benefit's line of cream shadows.

This stuff is AMAZING! I got this in the color "mutt", it's a shimmery bronzey taupey-brown. The consistancy of this is like nothing I have ever tried. It's like a mousse and it's somewhat spongey. If that makes sense. This stays on all day without creasing. A little goes a long way, just one little swatch with my finger and it's enough for my whole lid. I've used it as an all over lid color or as an eyeshadow base for browns. I always use an eyeshadow primer underneath it though. In my opinion this color is exactly the same color as BE Queen Tiffany, but in a cream shadow form. I would def repurchase this and I'm thinking about purchasing other colors as well.
