Stoplight Red. Great name for this lipstick. Although not as blue-red on me as I might have thought. More of a coral red, very similar to Revlon's Fire and Ice bright red. A very pretty brilliant red that lights up your face. Megalast has lasting power through drinking and eating for a number of hours. How does Wet 'n' Wild do it for a few bucks? And cruelty-free? We should all support this company. They've partnered with Dress For Success and donated nail polish to disadvantaged women who are attempting to enter the job market so they can have a polished finish for their job interviews. They believe makeup should be affordable and a lipstick shouldn't cost a paycheck. It's on their website. But I digress.
This is my second latest favorite color. Just be careful to turn the lipstick down or you'll smush it with the cap. I do like that the cap is see-through so that I can tell what lipsticks are what colors easily enough in my makeup bag. It goes on smoothly and doesn't feather. It lines my lips well enough, too. The reds stay on so well I have to remove the remnants with my facial cleanser. This one is not matte nor gloss, just a hint of a shine. To me it's a dupe of Fire and Ice, like I said. A nice pick me up color to wear to brighten your day. Seems I never go wrong with this company.

I got this product via an ebay seller because sadly wetnwild isn't available where I live. I'm very fond of bright red lipstikcs and color-wise this perfectly fits the bill. Its lasting power is quite good as well, though I do find it a bit drying. However my big complaint is that you get what you pay for in terms of packaging. I'm not one to be turned down because of a cheap looking packaging but this is super flimsy. I take extra good care of items that are hard to find for me and this was no exception, however after two uses the lipstick broke at the base and I can only put it on with a lipbrush now...which I don't like at all.

Where has this been all of my life? PERFECT red lipstick, and I've tried several! I was turned on to it because I heard it was a dupe for Russian Red, which I've been wanting to try. It really has the same lasting power as MAC or more expensive brands and doesn't bleed or get on my teeth, which is one of my major complaints with reds! It's such a gorgeous shade too, it's really bright and semi-matte, which I love. You would be crazy not to try this, considering it's so cheap and so awesome!

THIS IS AMAZING!
I know wetnwild is well known for their soft eyeshadows (awesome quality!!) but i decided to take a chance and try out their lipsticks as well. I was going to pick out the cheapest of them all, but the red caught my eye, and it was the only one left( unopened too!) hiding behind a bunch of other lipsticks. I'm so glad I got it, only for 1.97 at my local walmart. The formula is nice, and the packaging is the infamous wetnwild packaging- kind of annoying since the stick juts out over the top of the tube so when you put the cap back onto the lipstick, you have to be careful not to slice the lipstick. THe color payoff is amazing, makes my teeth look white, and overpowers the pink acne on my face so the attention is drawn to my lips while dulling out other less-reddish tones on my face. I have yet to wear it for a whole day, but I just unpackaged it and its amazing. I feel like the color payoff and quality overpowers the back packaging. It's managable - you just have to be careful.

I finally got my hands on this little gem since it is always sold out at my local drugstores and for good reason. It is the perfect blue-based red I have been looking for. It is not too matte and has very good staying power though I have to use a lip brush to get more precision. Best of all it is cheap and doesn't dry out my lips. The packaging is not the best but I can live with that.

This is the perfect retro red for me. I have (and will continue to do so) repurchased on several occasions. It's like MAC's Ruby Woo, but not drying at all. I get up to 8 hours of wear with no bleeding. Sometimes, just to be safe I line my lips with NYX's liner in Hot Red and I think it helps the color last even longer.

This lipstick lasts and lasts and lasts! I wore it yesterday all day through several meals, ice skating and it looked just a bit more matte by the end of the night! So sold on these that I got a few more. I paid $1.99 for this at Wallgreens. The only reason I will not get this again is because I need a more orange read for my NW45 skintone. They look best on me when wearing on the nails and lips. So I think the Megalast lippie in red velvet needs to be my next purchase. Also, this isn't actually matte. It had a sheen on me for the entire day. It has color saturation like you would not believe, though. Well done, Wet 'n Wild!

I love this lipstick! I have barely any left and that's because I use it almost everyday. And because it's a beautiful color and so cheap I don't care about the packaging that everyone hates including me.
Surprisingly, it's not that drying, and even if my lips do feel a bit dry throughout the day I'll just pat a little bit lip balm over it or just apply more of the lipstick. This is kind of lipstick that makes me want to buy the entire line of lipsticks.
How I apply it: Apply one layer, blot, repeat.
Lasts all day for me, don't even need a lip liner.

This is such an amazing red. Careful though, if you don't like super bright reds, stay away. But if you're like me and LOVE vibrant reds, you will love this! Such a gorgeous lipstick for the price.

While I have stayed away from reds since the early 90's something about this clear, bright colour drew me in. When I put it on, WHAM, it brought a brightness to my skin tone that made my whole face glow.. You can lay it on matte or sheer it out to a stain.
And the staying power is impressive. I am not one to dab on gloss or lipstick every 5 seconds. This one is a keeper.

I like the price of this product- I like the semi matte finish which glides on fairly easily (even over Winter chapped lips).

The colour itself is far brighter than I imagined when ordering it. I do like it and feel it suits me, but perhaps I'm more 'comfortable' with darker reds. It is a 'true' red with no hint of orange, so it fits my NC50 skin well. The Jury's still out. However, wore it out shopping yesterday and got lots of male attention...even my boyfriend liked it... I'm not excited about the product i guess.

I really like this. HG perfect red? Hmmmm not sure yet. I have been wearing NYX Snow White which is a much deeper blood red. I love Snow White, however, I seem to be looking too pale as of late and am feeling like a need a brighter red. Stoplight Red fits the bill. Its only $2.00, and I can pick it up many more places than NYX. Spotlight Red is RED. Much brighter than Snow White. Much more "pin up red". I cannot really notice any definate undertones. Its not orange or pink, all I see is red, with maybe a slight blue base. ( the other red in Wet-n-Wilds matte line, Red Velvet, looks to pinkish to me) Stoplight Red does brighten me up but I am a bit concerned its too bright. I'm thinking it just needs to grow on me since I have been wearing much deeper reds for a few months now. Its very longlasting, and not drying. Again, as with all my reds, I apply with a lip brush. I donot have to blot and reapply with this one.

This is a great red but after a while the lipstick becomes really crumbly & doesn't work very well. Not sure if i got a bad one or what because my other l/s from this line don't do this. As for now i'll repurchase just to see if it was this particular tube that sucks.

This color is BRIGHT, but I think thats obvious from the packaging from the store so I dont believe anyone would think otherwise. It was true to what I had in mind.

These are great though, they really live up to the hype. I would not typically purchase WnW products, I have always had the impression that they would be terrible (and I still think a lot of it is) but these are nice. They are almost totally matte, which I love because I have huge lips. As with any matte lipstick, you need a liner, and you need to make sure your lips are not flakey because it wont look good no matter if its WnW or Mac matte colors.

I give the packaging a 4 because I love how these come in a flat top instead of a pointed lipstick and I like the black packaging. It gives it a better look. I hate WnW usual sort of silver packing. It looks terrible. They would get a 5 if the sticks could be retracted completely into the tube.

This is beautiful. It's a dupe for MAC Ruby Woo, and looks fabulous! I like the color. It's not too much, but it's classic and sophisticated. The best part is, it's not too drying. Love it!

This and the other red from this line Red Velvet are my favorite red lipsticks, and I own more than 10 ranging from WnW to Chanel. Stoplight Red is a true, crisp red that is just blue-based enough to look classic and make teeth look white.

This is my favorite matte lipstick formula because it is so intensly pigmented, it's truly matte but not drying, it easily lasts 6-8hrs, it transfers much much less than other lipstick formulas, and it leaves an even stain. Stoplight red definitely has the creamiest finish out of the line. The downside is that the packaging and the shape of the lipstick is horribly designed.

I love this lipstick! Wow! When they say Megalast...they mean it. I wore it for a Christmas party/dinner this past Saturday and it did not budge even through four courses of food! I still looked great for all the pictures afterward!

I did exfoliate and moisturize before I put it on, though. And you need to warm it up before you try putting it on because it's not a super creamy texture. It really delivers the matte look which I love. Super cheap too - $2,99 at CVS.
