Best color ever. It's a great summer and spring color, but could be used all year round. Not quite pink, not quite lavender, not quite fuscia; just the best of them all. I've had more compliments on this color than any other that I've owned. Wears great with any color for any occasion.

This is such an amazing, unique color! I really love it, a bright pink, which is not too girly.
Every time I wear it, I can't stop looking at my nails.

As far as I've checked, I didn't find a similar color of any other brand.

I love this nail polish, has just enough brightness to get me excited. Perfect Spring colour although I love it that much I wear it year-round! a nice medium pink with purple-y undertones and in some lighting looks magenta. Although I do need quite a few coats - I do recommend!

This is the perfect spring color; not to pink not too purple. I am constantly running into other people wearing the same shade. As with most Essie colors, the formula is pretty creamy, goes on without streaking and is opaque with 2 coats.

I love this color. It's a very cool toned hot pink. It's blue based so its kind of purple-pink. It looks amazing on my cool toned pale skin. It applies smoothly and one thick coat is enough for me. It also dries pretty fast. It's comparable to other Essie polishes. Definitely something I will buy again and again.

Soooo pretty! The color is a pink/purple shade that looks perfect on my medium skin tone. I don't look good in pale pink, Barbie pink, or frosted pink, but THIS is fantastic. It's a creme (no shimmer), & I need 2 coats to cover. I could easily wear this color year round on my fingers or toes. On me it's a very soft shade but still has some oomph & vibrancy. Essie wears well on my natural nails, & never dries them out. I love this color so much that I bought another bottle!

This color is a definite favorite for spring and summer and I have it on my nails now. My first encounter with this color was when I got it as a manicure about a year ago. I loved it, but didn't actually get it for myself until this spring. The color does not look like grenadine...haha. Its a pink with definite purple undertones. I don't tend to like pure "barbie" pinks, so this color definitely appeals to me. I think the formula is near-perfect. At first it seems a little thin, but only takes 2 coats to become opaque. The finish is shiny and almost doesn't need a topcoat, beautiful!

they are now selling Essie at Boots and Superdrug in the UK for a very affordable price! Splash of Grenadine is a wonderful and eye-catching colour that needs 3 coats to look its best, but really really flatters my fair mediterranean skintone.
the shade itself is a perfect cross between a barbie pink and a purple. it's also very bright but not neon. it is a beautiful and uplifting colour. i own nothing else like this! there is nothing else to say other than its wonderful and also perfect for spring and summer. i also have a feeling this is great for tan, olive and dark skintones especially.
staying power is okay, like all other Essie polishes.
would repurchase!

Gorgeous Color. I live for the color pink and have a pretty much every lipstick/blush/lipgloss/np in the pink meets purple family...

My favorite color (still) is the love and friendship shade from MAC - so pretty! This had been on my list for a while and I got it very cheap on ebay since its a few seasons old...(NC 42 hands) on me it shows up almost like a hot pink..but I there is just enough purple to make it it doable.

I can imagine this would look great on toes...too. But to me the winner is the finish. Such great consistency, so easy to apply, so shiny, so opaque. LOVE

Update: While I still love this color..it shows up as a garish hot pink on my hands..so I will keep to me feet...and I still love the color. I have added a pick so you can see what it looks like on darker/yellow/brown skin.

I usually don't review nail polishes, because there are just SO many out there...but this is my all time favorite polish for every season. It dries almost instantly and the color is universal. It dries so shiny with a jelly-like finish. Amazing! Will repurchase it when it's gone.

I don't often review polishes, as color-choices are so subjective; however, this deserves a mention.
Despite the thin brush, this applies beautifully and dries to a brilliant, glassy finish. (I used a top-coat anyway, but it wasn't necessary to achieve a high-shine.)
Beautiful shade, and good wear-time. After 5 days, I've had no chipping or noticeable tip-wear. A winner from Essie!

I love this color it's basically a purple/pink color to me it looks like Barbie purple. That's the best way I can describe it. I love it looks great with a tan I think it'd work on people with all different skin tones.

I think I might have to pull this out again in the Winter season, when I'm a bit pastier. Indeed, I was looking forward to this being a fun Summer mani/pedi color...but the tone seems to compete with my complexion. While in the bottle the color looks like a flower petal it actually applies more like Barbie pink. I do have to say the application was satisfying, slightly on the thin side...but that's ok....and two coats landed me a smooth opaque jelly-like finish.

Cabt comment on longevity as have just put it on yesterday for first time

I took a chance and bought it off ebay from a Us seller I am from the Uk

Its just the colour I am looking for as i own so many bright pinks, fuschias, purples but this is so different. It has been perfectly described but i would say there is a slight milky undertone to it as well.

I ony have it on my fingernails as i like bright pops of colour on my toes but will try it next time to see.

I have 2 coats of opi nail envy, 2 coats of this and then a coat of seche vite top coat, so will see how long it lasts as colour generally chips after a fewdays.

Obsessed. Everyone has already covered its attributes here (fresh, pretty, sweet, perfect for spring/summer, jelly-like finish) but what I like to do is one coat (yes, 1 coat, it looks like a jelly-bean like "wash" of paint. Very delicate on the hands and I think the best way to show off this nail polish's character) and two coat on toes. So they go together but not necessarily "match". Love it.

So far I haven't had any good experiences w/Essie polishes but this polish has impressed me. It only takes two coats and it's leaves a shiny finish, doesn't necessary need to use a top coat. It's a beautiful pinky purple color, great for summer. Been reapplying alot.

The color looks amazing in the bottle but just reads Barbie pink with my coloring. I wish it looked like it did in the bottle on my hands. The formula is pretty streaky. I think I needed to do 3 coats to cover up all the bald spots. Sadly, this one just isn't for me.

I bought this shade because it instantly reminded me of Natalie Portman's pink Rodarte dress from the '09 Oscars (I know that's a random reference, but I love that shade of bright lavender pink). Splash of Grenadine is very similar to this shade, and has a lacquery, almost-jelly texture that is my absolute favorite. I also have Peach Daiquiri and the formula seems the same - It's thinner and glossier than some other Essie polishes I've tried. Dries in just a few minutes, opaque in two coats. It dries slightly darker/more magenta than the bottle color. I currently have it on my fingers and toes and hope it lasts me through the summer!
