Great daytime mascara that gives me alot of length, which is what I need. Its easily removable and lasts the day on me with no smudging and does not irritate my sensitive eyes. Will def repurchase. I also use benefits theyre real mascara which has an almost identical brush as this but costs almost triple the price! Id say this is a compareable dupe.

PROS: It really does thicken and lengthen, my lashes stand out the most with this. A couple times it looked like I had more lashes than I remember, not just enhancing the ones I could already see. The packaging also looks really nice, like expensive.

CONS: I'm used to Maybelline mascaras that let you slowly build them up and/or are dry. This is neither of those things - it's wet, and you get a lot of result with very little work. Personally, I don't like this as I have longer lashes to begin with and can end up looking ridiculous. Another thing is this thing clumps, just the wetness of the formula or something. This is not a mascara where I can use the wand to help comb through or separate, it will just keep adding more and more, making things worse.

OTHER: Mine has a noticeable smell, almost like it's gone bad or something. I have the dark brown color, and it seems to work ok, but the scent is not something that inspires confidence.

OVERALL: I'm actually disappointed with this because it builds up too quickly and/clumps. If I apply mascara lightly enough, I don't need to use a comb after, but with this, I need to. Another thing is I don't have problems with ANY mascara flaking on me, but this one has a tendency to, especially after I comb it out!

This is an okay mascara in terms of quality, except for one major problem: IT REEKS! The smell is so strong on this mascara, and it doesn't go away! I've never had a mascara that smelled so bad. Apparently this isn't new for L'OREAL mascaras either. I've heard several other stories of people avoiding it because of the smell.

Other than the stench, it works pretty good. Takes a few coats to achieve what I want, but overall I would say it does live up to what it says it does. It's just the smell that unfortunately is driving me away.

This mascara is an excellent mascara for your first coat. I have rather long eye lashes however, this mascara is perfect for seperating lashes and giving it that nice base for my second coat with a volumizing mascara. Also, if I'm in a rush and just want a light coat, this does the trick. I often get compliments about the length and perfectness of my lashes and i must say if i did not have this mascara in my arsenal I would not be achieving that ''false lash'' affect. The product goes on nicely, no clumping and very smooth consistency. The packaging is also very nice in my opinion. Its appealing to the eyes.

I really like this mascara. My main issues with mascara is that so many of them leave me with panda eyes. This mascara does not have a problem with smudging! Yay!

I really like this mascara. I use my Elizabeth Arden lash curler and their Ceramide Lash Extending mascara always first before I put on any other mascara. I recently just bought this Voluminous Million Lashes after I saw my friend use it. I was a little iffy about the brush at first. But I really really like it. I only say like and give it 4 stars instead of a 5 because it flakes kind of easily and if you put way too much on your lashes will start to stick and will be hard to separate. But over all I really liked it. It gave superior volume and my lashes were really long after using it. But It also helps I used the curler and the ceramide formula from elizabeth arden (really does help for any lash). This was also easy to wipe off with my make up wipes. This is one of my favorite drug store mascara's.

The mascara delivers its promise of volumising lashes. I have scarce lashes which are straight. I curl them and apply this mascara. The fat plastic comb wand does a great job of separating my lashes, defining them and volumising them. This mascara makes my eye lashes noticeable, and not for clumping. This mascara doesn't clump my eye lashes. The consistency is good, more on the wetter side. Recommended!

It transfers onto my lower eyelids and smudges so much. At first I suspected another eyeliner for giving me raccoon eyes but it was actually this mascara. Oh, and it flakes. It feels heavy and clumps together. Awful.

I've been testing this mascara in the Carbon Black version for a few days now and I actually have really been liking it, which surprised me seeing as so many others seem to hate it!

I think what puts so many people off is the fact that this product claims to "add volume" and create the appearance of "a million lashes", which, duh, is false no matter if you have nonexistent lashes or very full ones. I'm definitely biased though, I'll admit, because my lashes are naturally quite long and thick; however, that has helped me to determine that the reason so many people are let down by this mascara is because it does more lengthening than volumizing. At least that's what I think/have noticed.

It does volumize a little bit, especially at the roots, which helps with a tightlined effect. But overall it had much more of a lengthening and slight curling effect (which was pleasant, because I hate curling my lashes and I never do it). And that gorgeous shiny gold packaging makes it feel lovely to hold and apply. After a day's wear in 90 degree weather, it didn't flake or smudge, which made me very happy.

As a side note, I absolutely adore L'Oreal's carbon black mascaras, because my lashes are also dark black on their own and everything else (even most brands' Blackest Black shades) seem to look more dark grey than black and not frame my eyes well at all. If you have that issue too, definitely try any of the carbon black mascaras this brand has. They're so amazing.

Overall this is a good solid mascara and will be the one I reach for for everyday usage (I'd suggest the original Voluminous Carbon Black for evening looks), and I recommend it.

I was drawn to this product by the packaging. The gold is pretty. I have super sparse thin lashes, and this did nothing for me. If you have small lashes this product isn't for you. It would not coat them at all. I tried putting multiple coats and it wouldn't coat them. It's the only mascara that I tried where I gave up after the first eye and used a different brand. The wand is awful, it has super tiny short bristles. I'm not a fan of plastic wands anyway, but this was horrible. I can't even tell you about length or volume because it wouldn't go on my lashes. Also you hardly get any product on the brush. It's the worst mascara I have ever used! I'll stick to Maybelline colossal.
