This eyeliner is so true to its name. It stays on all day with no flaking or smudging. If you're an eyeliner junkie this Is for You! Some might complain about the price ($20) at sephora. But I figure if you're gonna pay almost $9 for a drug store eyeliner, just suck it up and pay a little more for a high quality like this. My only tiny problem with this is that the eyeliner is sort of shiny when dried. I like the matte black look much better. If anyone knows how to get a matte finish with this liner, please post!

I'm not sure what everyone is raving about. Got this in the mail today from amazon for 17 dollars which is pretty steep for eyeliner, but I was looking for a "water-proof" eyeliner that might be a little better than my usual go to, but this junk WIPED right off after only an hour of wear. so called waterproof eyeliner should NOT wipe off. I'm looking for heavy duty eyeliner that you need make up remover to take off.

I am of Asian descent and while I don't happen to have a monolid, I still do have very oily lids, so a lot - if not most - eyeliners on the market smudge on me within a few hours. I've found that the best eyeliner/mascara for me has to be ones where they dry into a hard, plasticky texture... so it would be impossible for oils to dissolve them and cause smudging.

This eyeliner turned out to be one of those.

It goes on quite watery and smells a bit like lacquer. In fact I think it is a type of lacquer... it dries almost instantly into a lacquer-y texture. So even though this colour I have is called "Intense Black", the end result is actually black with a slight sheen.

But this lacquer-y stuff is exactly why it never smudges on my lids. Because it dries into this hard, crusty surface, it never melts or gets dissolved by my oily lids. Instead, if it does come off, it flakes off rather than smudges. And I haven't had it flake off much even after a 12 hour stint with it on.

Truly is a HG for anyone with oily lids.

Only thing is I notice this pen tip isn't very good. Frays and dries up really quick. Not really ideal if you are gonna be spending a long time drawing your eyes trying to learn how to perfect the art of liquid eyelining!

Love this eyeliner to the moon and back! I bought it on a whim one day when I had a sephora gift card and I kinda regret it now because I'll have to shed out another 30$ to get my hands back on it! It seriously does not budge, and it is jet black. I've heard people compare it to the Maybelline pen eyeliner but I find this one a million times better !!

Finally a godsend! HG eyeliner! Where have you been all my life! I thought I tried it all but through friends' recommendations, I'm in love with this liner. This thing does not budge on my oily eyelids. I heard it dries out after 2 months but it's ok, I'm stocking up!

The best liquid eyeliner I have come across. It has all the aspects of a liquid eyeliner that make it a good one. The felt tip applicator makes it easy to apply. The pigment is very bold. The the best part is that is does last ALL DAY.

I tried so many eyeliners that just wouldn't stay put before I finally found this. The pen makes it easy to apply, the tip is thin so great for winged eyeliner but not too thin. The colour is a rich black and it dries fast!
It may seem pricey given the size but I wear eyeliner on average 6 days a week and each pen lasts 2 months.
Seriously can't recommend it enough,

My HG eyeliner. Perfect for winged tips! Easy to use, and though it is not CHEAP, it is a decent price for how long it lasts (At least 4 months with daily use). I always stock up on these when there is a sale at any beauty/department store. It really does stay all day (AND night) and dries quickly to a matte black. I line my eyes from the very inner corner of my eyes, so sometimes I get the eyeliner liquid in my eyes, but it has NEVER made my eyes hurt or have any adverse effect. Will never give it up as long as Stila keeps making it.

Holy Bahama Momma. This is absolutely a gift from heaven, and I am not exaggerating. I am a huge eyeliner girl. I wear a cat eye everyday, regardless if I'm wearing eyeshadow or not. I have been on the hunt for my "perfect" liquid eyeliner. I found a good drugstore felt tip pen, the Maybelline's Master Precise Liner but it definitely isn't water proof let alone water resistant and if you're wearing any kind of eyeshadow it completely erases the black line you once had. Good for beginners who are trying to perfect their wing because you can go over it with a liquid liner so you have your outline as opposed to trying it with a messy liquid eyeliner from scratch. Anyways, I love liquid liner but hate the hassle that comes with it. I am very experienced in liquid liner and even to this day I still mess it up with typical applicators. What DON'T I love about this felt tip pen sent from God himself? I love the felt tip, perfect for thin liners or thick lines. I love that it is super black and waterproof. I love that it lasts forever and ever. I love that it takes half the time to apply as opposed to using a regular, messy liquid liner. Yes, it is very expensive but you will not regret your purchase and I've had mine for over a month now and it's not even close to dried out.

Hands down the best felt tip liner i've used. I do the cat-eye every day of my life basically (i know, dedication, but i feel as if i don't look right without it!) and i've been using the MAC penultimate liner for a while, which, to be honest was quite rubbish. when i bought this to replace it, i was amazed at how good it was! first of all, it lasts ALL DAY, upwards of 8 hours - secondly, the colour is so black and intense, moreso than any others ive tried - and finally - the application is so good, even for the already pretty foulproof felt tip liners! definitely recomend this, it is a worthy investment!

I bought this eyeliner on a whim at sephora. I used to use drugstore liquid liner, and it dried out, so I spent the $20 on this stila one, and wow. I am impressed.
It is a fine felt tip marker style pen, and i have never been able to draw an absolutely perfect, fine line so close to my lashes, until i started using this.
Drys very quicky, which is great because if you blink, it wont mess up your eyeshadow. It doesn't budge all day. So the claims are all true.
I'd say the only thing i dislike about it is the price, but then again, i'd still repurchase because its the best i've ever used.

My fav eyeliner! After trying several other "waterproof" eyeliners including Smashbox Limitless Liquid Liner Pen, Sephora brand pencil, MAC Fluidline, Make Up For Ever, etc. this one is the only one I can say I like and will repurchase!

Pros:
- does not smudge or run
- dries quickly (almost instantly)
- perfect dark black color (not greyish like some liners)
- waterproof
- felt tip marker makes it easy to apply thick or thin lines

This is the best liquid eyeliner ever made. This is a HG liner that I've used for years. No smudging, intense black, stays all day, and best tip on any liquid eyeliner pen--perfect felt tip length and tapers to a perfect point! Application is a breeze, and you get the best control. The product is not goopy or watery like MAC or Milani liners. Gentle on eyes ( I wear contacts and I have sensitive eyes).. It also comes off when you want it to! It isnt waterproof, but it is water resistant. I've tried every liquid eyeliner there is and this is the best one. I've tried other brands from high-end to drugstore and I cannot find anything that comes close. The only down side to this product is that is the price, but if you buy it at ULTA you can use a coupon ;) If you wear winged liner every day like I do, this last for several months with daily usage.

I always used to use gel eyeliner and had been looking for a good felt tip liquid eyeliner for a long time, tired of having to use a gel pot and a brush because I'm too lazy to clean the brush every day! When I found Stila's Stay All Day Waterproof pen, I was thrilled. It's so easy to use, it's a very intense black and it really does last all day. It doesn't transfer if you get sweaty or oily either, unlike the gel liners I used in the past. I've even taken a shower with it on, rubbed my eyes without thinking, and it still looked completely flawless.

The reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5 though, is because I feel like it dries out and the quality decreases a lot quicker than I would like for something so expensive. It's double the price of a lot of other pen liners and while the quality is there at the start, after about a month I find it a lot more difficult to use (even when keeping it stored upside down to prevent drying out). It doesn't seem to take long for the very end of the nib to dry out, making it very difficult (but not impossible) to get a sharp flick, and when it starts to dry it also gets harder to apply because it causes strokes that I've already made to flake and clump. It definitely hasn't run out either, because using harder strokes and different angles still produce plenty of liner. Maybe this is just a sad fact of felt-tip eyeliner pens that isn't exclusive to this one, but it's frustrating nonetheless.

All in all, it's a really great eyeliner that I will continue to buy (at least unless I find something cheaper that works just as well), BUT for £12-£13 I would expect to be able to use it for longer before having to replace it given that some of its competitors are half the price, and it's something that those of us who are budget conscious might want to keep in mind.

Ok. This product is A M A Z I N G. I am an extremely active person, (AAA female ice hockey) and this is still on at the end of the day. It's on at 5:30AM, I go to school, I have hockey, then I have soccer, then I have more hockey, I get home near 9PM and guess what? My eyeliner is still on! This stuff could stay on forever. But the stangest thing is that it comes off in a breeze! It has unbelievable wearability. Maybe you watched a depressing/sad movie and cried for 3 hours, but your eyeliner would still be perferct. I wear it swimming in the summer and to hockey in the winter, and year round it'll never let me down. I even have crazy oily eyelids and it still works for me, It may be exspensive, but it is worth pe dollar because it lasts for several months. The felt tip won't dry out on you till it is truly empty, and the tube makes it even easier to make a thin or thick line.

HG! i'll probably never buy a different eyeliner. it doesn't smudge, ever, except when i want to take it off with eye makeup remover. the tip is perfect for thin or thick lines; but i do find it hard to apply for tight lining under my top lashes because it doesn't apply well in a watery area.. but honestly that doesn't change my opinion about it overall because it's perfect.

I bought this product because I had a sephora gift card, and my eyeliner ran out. I never expected to fall head over heels! It stays very nicely, goes on very smoothly (i am an extremely shaky person and it still allows me to create a nice line) the only downside is the price, and the felt tip wears out after a little while. but overall amazing product

This eyeliner has very goood staying on power, it does last for 5 hours+. But I don't like its felt tip, it kind of rough on my eyelids. It didnt have a very smooth application. There are a number of other liquid eyeliners that I think are much better than this one.

Best liquid liner I've ever used. I suck at liquid liner (like seriously) but the pen is easy to use. The formula is long lasting, and it is super black. Took off one lippie because of the price tag.
