I wanted to love this so badly. But I returned it. It was very "wet" and hard to maneuver the 2nd wand. It was very flimsy. I want to try another MAC mascara but it seems like they aren't getting great reviews.

I really wanted to like this mascara but I ended up hating it. Actually every mascara I bought from MAC was a disappointment. Very clumpy,no serious volume, gets too messy, awful packaging, horrible smell...
I honestly wouldn't recommend it.

Hands down, the WORST mascara I've ever used. The pink lid is a very light mascara application and the purple glitter side is Waaaaaaaaaaaaay to clumpy and messy! Who's idea was it to creat a mascara that wraps eyelashes in tubes? It's a mess to put on & a mess to clean up - will not purchase again.

Probably my new favorite mascara, unless I find something better. I have always hated how much product comes out onto a mascara wand, and all the product I wasted wiping it off. I like my lashes to look natural and defined, with NO clumping or flaking. I am very picky with mascara.

The pink side is what I use for daily/natural makeup looks. I've used the purple one, but only when I wear dark eye makeup. It's quite expensive in Australia, but it's almost like a 2 in 1 product. I will repurchase.

Fabulous! I was recommended this mascara, and so glad that I got it:) I love the double wand power, and it really makes my lashes look great. I usually use Covergirl Clump Crusher to lengthen and separate, then Volume de Chanel to volumize. But with this mascara I have all that I need! It's a very black black, with little to no clumping or flakes. I don't find myself reapplying throughout the day because its very long wearing. Definitely going to repurchase!

I have really enjoyed this product and its "two" wand system. This is a wet formula that gets better with time, as it dries down a bit. Just beware that when you first purchase this, it is easy for you to "mess" up and get it on your eyelids. After a week of use, it is much easier to use. The "first" brush allows you to really pack on mascara in order to thicken your lashes. The "second" brush then separates your thick lashes for a more defined look. It does not flake, smudge or budge. Your eyelashes feel light and soft, no crunchy lashes here. :) It is also easy to remove with just water alone. No special makeup remover needed.

I have this in "Too Black" and love it. I use the more dramatic brush for my top lashes, and the less dramatic one for my bottom to get the perfect combination so it's not overwhelming. Doesn't smug or flake at all for me, but if you're the type of person who rubs their eyes a lot a waterproof mascara might be a better option in terms of staying power. Perhaps the only downside to this mascara is it can be hard to fully remove. For example I'll have washed my face and used an eye makeup remover, but will sometimes wake up with faint smudges bellow my eyes. Not a big deal, but proper and thorough removal is a must to avoid that. The price isn't the best but considering the results I get out of the mascara it's well worth the $20. A solid product, the best I've used and I will repurchase it in the future.

This has become my favorite mascara. Application can be a bit tricky but I think the payoff is well worth it. Using the "naughty" wand first I apply a heavy layer of the mascara and then follow up with the "haute" wand. The "naughty" wand gives my lashes the very voluminous and dramatic look that I love, while the "haute" wand gives my lashes the length that I need. This wears well for me throughout the day with very minimal smudging. Will definitely purchase again.

I love this mascara! I have short, thin lashes. The haute (defined) side is really easy to work with. Naughty is clumpy, but I feel like after I go over it with the naughty side I get a seperation and drama. Basically it's one brush, it's just that the naughty side's tube is wider so you get a ton more product. I love the haute side, you don't get a lot of excess product so you can keep it natural or build it. Big, regular bristle brush, $20.

I've heard good things about a lot of drugstore mascaras so I don't know if I will repurchase any time soon, but I like it enough to buy again.

This is my new favorite mascara! I always use both together because I like really full lashes that pop. I can hardly wear any other mascara now because none compare to the full effect I get from haute and naughty! The only down side is that if you even think about crying this mascara will be ALL OVER your face. It doesn't claim to be waterproof, but I have cried through other non-waterproof mascaras and never had much of a problem. I definitely would not recommend this if you have watery eyes! Other than that, I will def. be restocking on this one.. It's just amazing!!

Everyone knows Mac's biggest flaws are the mascares. They don't do justice to the brand. This one's okay but you can find better ones, like Benefit's they're real or any of the Maybelline collectiob

See this is why I think its best that I stick with drugstore mascaras. I bought this with high expectations because I wanted to try something different from my fave Maybelline Falsies. The formula wasn't all that great and it clumped. Then the handle on the "haute" side broke off. Then the entire brush just fell off from the handle. I could have just had a bad batch.

I love this mascara! My lashes are short, thin and unfortunately I don't have a lot them. This product does a miracle! After applying it in 2 layers (even without the second brush) my lashes are 30% longer and 50% thicker! Also it gaves them a really nice curve (this effect I couldn't get with any other product).
I wear it all day long!
But if you have a lot of long and thick lashes this mascara might be too much for you.

Although MAC's studio fix lash is my HG, Haute and Naughty is my favourite mascara when I'm going out for the evening. It really gives me the 'false lash effect' that I like on a night out. Be careful when you use the 'Naughty' wand (fatter brush) as it picks up a lot of product and once or twice my lashes have clumped a bit. I make sure that I wipe any excess off to avoid this happening. X

I have the traditional strait, flat, asian eyelashes and this mascara doesn't help it keep its curl. I like the fact that you can use the mascara two different ways, but I think the formula is not beneficial for eyelashes like mine. When I put it on, my lashes just go back flat! Also, it isn't even waterproof!! Maybe if it was, it would hold a curl much better. I don't recommend this product for people with naturally flat/straight eyelashes.

It's ok. Gives me huge lashes but as I already have quite long, curled lashes, it clumps them up like crazy.
WAY too expensive :(

I bought this mascara after a MAC makeup lesson last weekend, so didn't get chance to see how it would fare later in the day before purchasing. By the time I'd walked around for an hour or so I'd started to get pretty bad panda eyes, but I put this down to the dark eyeshadow and eyeliner that had also been applied.

Today however, the panda eyes persisted. Each time I went into the bathroom at work I noticed black stains appearing that, at first, made me look I had hideous bags under my eyes then started to get gradually worse. I arrived home from a friends house about 15 minutes ago and my panda eyes were just ridiculous, it actually looked like I'd been crying. Not what you'd expect from a mascara that cost £18!

Don't get me wrong, it does apply really well - my lashes didn't clump together but were nicely separated, lengthened and volumised; everything I usually look for in a mascara. I just don't think the zombie-eyed look I ended up with at the end of the day is worth it.

clumpy is all this mascara does to your lashes. Doesn't separate at all & the worst mascara I've ever used.

I bought this mascara after seeing a few of the girls at the mac counter wearing it,On them I was pretty impressed But on me it didn't really wow me much. I don't hate it but I don't really love it. It's the kind of result I'd expect from a good drug store mascara defiantly not worth the £18.00 it was a good mascara don't get me wrong but it didn't do me miracles.

I feel like the bourjois volumizer mascara wich is very similar is a much better choice and way cheaper.

I like this mascara, not love. At least, not the Naughty side. I noticed it kind of looks like Rimmel London's Day 2 Night mascara (that one ad with Zooey Deschanel) the first time I saw it, and I'm wondering if the concept works the same way. Anyway, the purple end grabs too much product and it's very hard to get through your lashes leaving them a mess, so I tend to gravitate toward the pink side because it still volumizes and lengthens my lashes while avoiding a mess. On special occasions I just layer on the Haute side. I do like the concept of this product, just not the mess. Although the packaging is cute.
