So I've just applied two coats of this polish, waiting for it to dry so I can put on a third. I was so excited to find this in a 4-pack at Big Lots for like $5. Well guys, it was on sale for a reason....

This is the most liquidy, streaky, uneven polish I've ever tried. And I've used a lot of "sheer", pastel, or white-based polishes before. It's basically yellow-tinted water. And I'm actually quite a Sally Hansen fan, especially this line. But this one? Just....no.

I really wanted to love this color! It looked like it would be so pretty on my nails. But unfortunately when I put it on it was SO sheer, I had to layer it a few times to finally get the color I expected it to be, and then of course, it took so long to dry that I ended up giving up and just removing it. Too frustrating and time consuming for me! :)<3

I am a big fan of this line of nail polish – it may be the only polish that will last a full week on my fingers. Sadly this pale color took 4 coats (could have even used another) to achieve the color of the bottle. I guess it’s worth it (especially since I got it for 75% off) but man was I annoyed when I kept realized I needed YET another coat!

The color is a nice pale yellow – great for spring. I have a brighter one I like for the summer months.

Like I said, this line is great. But I wish the color was more saturated and you could do 1-2 coats.

Very inconsistent and patchy. Took three coats to even look like the colour on the bottle. I won't repurchase.

I was really looking forward to this yellow color. As it is I don't have many colors like this one. But I can't complain cause I did get this product 75% off! Anyways It's a really pretty yellow color, but the thing that sucks about this is, it's very sheer. You have to apply 5 coats to get the color opaque! What I love about the Sally Henson Complete Salon Manicure is the brush. It glides the polish on super well. I'm not going to judge the other colors, cause maybe some of them are better then this one.

Got it at the CVS 75% sale. Should have known it would be no good. Love the color, hate the formula. So streaky and way to fluid-y. While it did hold up well to my constant abuse to my nails (typing, washing dishes, ect.), It just isnt worth the trouble. 3 coats and it still wasnt covering well. And it bubbled. Which is weird because I have never had a polish bubble. :( For 2 bucks Im not too upset. Maybe I will try it on my toes next time.

I tried 3 layers but still, the color dose not fully covered my nail base. I am not sure if only me got this problem because my nail seems not pale, it is more like a flush pink or red and it has waves.

The color is cute but I just couldn't get it work on it

I had updated a photo for your reference.

Why all the bad reviews? This product is amazing but a little sheer. But after two coats this looks amazing. I only own two Complete Salon Manicures, one in Yellow Kitty and one in Barracuda. I have had no problem with chipping. The color is a spot on pastel yellow that looks just beautiful. The best thing about these polishes is the applicator (brush). It is curved so it fits your nail magnificently and I am now able to paint my nail by myself! Maybe I just got lucky with the ones I picked, but anywho, I would definetly buy this product again!

I have been looking for a nice yellow to go with my nc44 skintone. I saw yellow kitty on sale in CVS and decided to give it a try.
the application is streaky and the polish needs at least 3-4 coats to turn opaque. the color is little neon-y but pretty on toes. (Most yellow polishes tend to be streaky and some what difficult to apply)
The complaint i have with this polish is how it wears - it started chipping in one day itself. The sally hansen complete manicure line is good but this polish is not the same quality.
i am glad i got it on sale and will continue to look for a nice yellow polish.

I picked this up because Ingrid (Missglamorazzi) said it was her favorite yellow nail polish. I have been looking for a good one, but it's hard to find because they are always too streaky or too sheer. This yellow is a nice pastel yellow. Very nice color for spring. On the application side I really do not mind the big brush I find it easier to use actually. You will need many coats to build up to an opaque which I find annoying. It is kind of streaky, but it's probably the best yellow I've used. For a Sally Hansen polish I find the price ridiculous ranging from 7 to 9 bucks (9 being more than an OPI in my area!) the bottle is a really nice shape. A huge downside to this polish is that it CHIPS LIKE CRAZY on my hands not even a whole days wear and it was all ready chipping. On my toes this has almost lasted two weeks with little to no chipping. Leaning towards not buying again on this one but if you are in dire need of yellow check it out.

I didn't have as hard a time as some others with this polish, but it doesn't impress me. I guess I just need a lighter shade of yellow for my fair skin. The formula for this one was on the runny side, but two coats pretty much did it for my toes -- I think I added a third coat to a couple of nails, and they all look good. Love the packaging, but will probably try Orly's Lemonade or China Glaze's Lemon Fizz next for a nice pale yellow. Love the SH Complete Salon Manicure line, though. Top notch all around. My problem here is mainly the color.

Very cute color, very uneven polish. It looks absolutely ridiculous with just one coat and not much better after 2. Really streaky and leaves some of your nail color thin and other parts really thick. Won't be purchasing again.

**To be fair, I hear that most yellow shades are like this, and other SH Complete Manicure polishes go on very well. But here is my experience with this particular shade:

I was pretty disappointed with how this went on. While looking creamy and pretty in the bottle, the formula was a lot thinner and still looked uneven after 4 (yes, 4!!) coats! While I love the pale yellow color, I really didn't care for how thin the formula was. Granted other colors might go on differently, and it does dry to a nice smooth/shiny finish, but 5 coats for a completely opaque look is a little much. I think this particular shade in the brand is not worth the money. I'm sure you can get something much cheaper with the same results (and better!).
