I love everything about this perfume except for the PRICE TAG of course! You pay for the quality though. To me it smells like what you would expect a vacation in paradise to smell like, sweet and aquatic without being overbearing, maybe almost like having a mojito on the beach as the salt-water breeze fills the air. My mother and father are both VERY picky about smells, and 99.9% of the time they can't stand to be around me or my friends because of our perfume, but not with this one. My father actually COMPLIMENTED me on it (and he NEVER compliments me on ANYTHING! EVER!), so that's when I decided I should probably write a review. The lasting power is about average (average for department store, not something you'd get at the drugstore or B&BW) and the bottle is simple yet classy at the same time. My signature perfume at the moment for sure.

I went to the department store looking for a specific perfume but they didnt have it and I was quite disappointed. A sales rep was sampling Acqua di Gioia and I sprayed it on my wrist. I went about my day at the mall and before I left I HAD to come back and get this! I could not stop smelling my wrist and my boyfriend absolutely loved it on me and he got it for me! I have to admit that the reason I was not very crazy about it at first is because I am a sucker for cute packaging. And to be honest with you the bottle is not much to talk about. I have now grown to love the bottle. It looks very chic and expensive. I just love this perfume so much and I am glad they did not have what I originally went to buy. It smells very fresh and feminine and sexy and alluring. The lasting power is very good and also you dont have to spray on a whole lot. A little goes a long way! I am very pleased with this especially since I got the rollerball and the lotion to go with it.

When I first smelled this I was absolutely obsessed with it! It reminded me of a sensual evening on the ocean, a very exotic scent. It's very strong and only takes a little spritz. Over time I began to become so repulsed with the scent and I'm not exactly sure why! It started to seem so overbearing and quite frankly sickening. I came to a point where I couldn't smell it without literally getting sick! Definitely not for those with a sensitive nose.

This smells so good! Very sexy! It's very strong tho. If you like light scents this isn't for you. I love how long it last on my skin. Very worth the money!!

This smells amazing and unlike any perfumes I've smelled before. I love it. Also love the men's version acqua di gio. But the women's one, even with just one spritz, gives me a horrible pounding headache. I don't know why and I hate that it does because I love the scent.. :( Bought twice and ended up returning after one use each time.

To me, this is an updated modern version of cool water woman. I love wearing this. It has so many different facets, reminds me of a tropical rainforest and the waves of the ocean. I love it !!!

I got this perfume 2 years ago, and I loved it from the moment I sprayed it on. The smell is a very unique smell, in my opinion. It starts off very clean, crisp and aqua, but (on my skin) it changes into a sweeter version, a little tropical too. I love it. I recently bought my second bottle, after using my first one for 2 years! I absolutely love this perfume (and the commercial is stunning too!) and I'll always be a fan of Acqua Di Gioia.

This scent is crisp, clean, and modern. It smells summery, though a bit conventional. I love the mint top-note but wish for more depth in the dry-down. This smells so good on other people in hot weather. Unfortunately, on me it smells like teenager drug store cologne.

Found this when I was at sephora. This was the one that stuck out to me. I love men's cologne, and this made me think of cologne. It is still definitely feminine though. Very fresh and clean, and it evolves through out the day beautifully. The lasting power is very good. I just took out a winter sweater that had been sitting in my drawer for months and I could smell it on it. I ran out of it a while ago and have been missing it very much so

Aqua di Gioia is my favorite perfume at the moment. I have a small collection of perfumes and usually lean towards more floral scents- not sticky sweet floral but a nice fresh floral. Originally when I went to Macy's I had the intention of getting Coach Poppy Flower because I had gotten a sample of it and it was right up my alley. I don't get around to perfume counters often so I took the opportunity to smell around. The Sales associate suggested Aqua di Gioia and at first I wasn't a crazy fan of it because it comes off really clean to me at first spray. After spraying poppy flower and this on alternate wrists and walked around for an hour, by the time I was ready to purchase the aqua di Gioia had me hooked. It isn't overpoweringly strong but my boyfriend can tell if I'm near him several hours later just by the scent.

I am so in love with this perfume, I first found in it Bloomingdales and have never looked back. It's a light and aquatic mix with jasmine petal, crisp rock rose, rosemary, fruity persimmon and warm Indonesian patchouli which creates a masculine scent that is both fresh and sensual. It stays for a while and gets loads of compliments, beautiful.

I expected this to smell incredible but its very simple and uninteresting, smell it at the mall before you buy it, I expected much more from this fragrance, the commercial alone made me want to buy this fragrance but after smelling it, I will not be buying

When I was on the department store the perfume lady gave me a sample and I usually throw them because I'm very picky on perfumes. This I had to return and ask what fragance was because it smelled amazing, very fresh with citrus, mint and brown sugar. My mom gave it to me for Christmas and I wear it sporadically but the staying power is amazing, my clothes or coat smells for weeks after I use it. Love it!

Green and harsh, almost an insect repellent quality to it. Very masculine but has great staying power (most scents have on my skin fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you feel about them...). Very disappointed. Would not buy full bottle.

I am surprised that I didn't discover this sooner! I am by no means a perfume expert, but I have spent my fair amount of time wandering up and down the perfume wall at Sephora trying to go back and forth between all of the different fragrances. I actually did first see this in a Sephora store, but my stepmom wrote off the fragrance as being "too old" for an 18 year old. I had occasionally gotten samples on the paper testers of this but nothing really struck me as being unique. I recently made a purchase from Ulta and this was one of the free sample options, so I decided to give it a try. Turns out I ended up liking this sample more than the actual perfume I bought.. Whoops! When I first spray the product, (just one spray is pretty strong - and I just applied it 10 minutes ago!) I am surrounded by a light but very sweet citrusy smell - for me, I find that this fades somewhat quickly (or I can just detect the floral smell more) either way, the blend of florals is perfect. Some people say this is a very generic fragrance, but I find it to be very unique with the many layers that all smell so great and blend together so well. This lasts for a decent amount of time, and the dry-down smells wonderful. This scent is perfect for summer! Whenever I spray it on my clothes it smells so fresh and clean - before transitioning into the more spicy florals. I honestly didn't really consider this fragrance at first because I didn't let it blend with my body chemistry - I love it now that I have discovered all of the notes of this fragrance!

I love it!

Not usually a fan of fresh aquatic scents, but this one I like. Very nice for spring/summer...works for the office or weekend daytime.

Great summer scent. It's very easy to wear and I like it a lot... I do however prefer parfumes with more personality and this is very "young" and I smell it very often on strangers walking by.. That beeing said I still like the smell

I love aqua scents (I used to be a big fan of Oceanus from The Body Shop).
This one combines aqua with a hint of citrus, which is lovely! It's a summer scent, but I like it so much that I wear it in winter too. It gives me a fresh and clean feeling. It's not overpowering but heavy enough to last a few hours. That my only issue with this scent...it doesn't last all day... a pitty, but I don't mind spraying twice a day. It isn't expensive, so I will defenitely buy this again.

This is very clean, and aquatic!! I enjoy this much better than the ubiquitous Light Blue....similar in a way, but, it's definitely not LB! This scent is lovely and not everyone is wearing it!
