This cream is not what i expected. I broke out all over my face and it feels really thick on my face and makes my skin feel oily. Maybe it worked for everyone else but not for me. Im very disappointed because its supposed to be for sensitive skin and yet i broke out.

Where I live this product is named "Vital Vitamin Restoring Night Cream," but I'm pretty sure it's the same product minus the "kind to skin" label. I have extremely sensitive combination skin, but this cream does not irritate my skin, and goes on cool not warm, which I really like. It feels refreshing, and not heavy. I use it in the day as my skin has been drier lately than usual. I wait about 25 minutes for it to absorb completely, and after that my skin feels great. I have dermatitis, and it does not irritate it. I like how it doesn't have petrolatum/mineral oil, and would rather it not have glycerin, but I'll live. A downside is the price for the amount. I used all of this cream in a little over a week. Yes, I use a lot, but like I said my skin has been really dry. So far I have not had an acne break out with this product, and have not had any rashes. It's not the best moisturizer I've ever tried because sometimes my skin has a strange consistency after I use it, and it doesn't keep my skin moist as long as some other creams I've tried that are now discontinued unfortunately. It's a very strong 4/5 however. I like the fact that it is fragrance free and for a "night cream" feels like a cloud, and is non-greasy. Please give this cream a try if you have dermatitis with combination skin like I do. It doesn't break out your oily areas, and is potent enough to completely moisturize your dry, sensitive areas.

This night cream is definitely rich and moisturizing and my skin is usually baby soft the morning after using it. The only problem I have with it is that it takes a long time to soak in and my skin stays sticky for about half an hour to an hour after application, so I usually apply it well before bed so that it doesn't rub off on to the pillow.

Similarly to a number of reviews here, also made me break out after the first night I used it :(. I have used a number of facial moisturizers without reacting and have not had a break out this bad in years. Definitely will not repurchase.

I've been using this for a few months now, with really good results. It is easy to apply, and stays on even when I rub my face on my pillow. When I wake up, the moisturizer has totally soaked in and my face feels soft and skin tone looks even, unlike some moisturizers where my face is red and greasy. My only problem with this product is that it is in a tub, not a pump - it gets bacteria inside it :( But great for the price, would recommend! Especially for those with dry skin.

I think this night cream is best for someone who is just starting off with skincare (think someone in their teens.) Other than keeping my skin fairly moisturized at night, this really did nothing else for me. The consistency is also more of a lotion, so it's very light and absorbs into the skin fast. If you're on a budget and looking for something to keep your skin moisturized, go with this night cream. If you're hoping for results, this isn't going to be it.

I'm surprised by how much I like this cream. I decided to try it on a whim since it was so much cheaper than any of the other night creams. It has no scent, which I like because it doesn't clash with any other scents. It feels really heavy and greasy on my fingers but it goes on surprisingly light. I only give it a 4 out of 5 because I feel like it could be better. The formula doesn't soak into my skin as quickly as I would like it to, but by morning it has completely absorbed and my skin feels moisturized. The biggest problem I have is its packaging. I really wish it came in a bottle with a pump instead of a jar. I hate when products come in a jar. Not only is it less sanitary because you're constantly sticking your hand in the jar and potentially contaminating the product, but it also gets under my nails. I have long acrylic nails so this is especially problematic. For the price it does a good job, but there are higher quality products out there.

This is the first night cream I've ever used - I didn't think my oily/acne-prone skin needed one, but I am so glad I decided to give this product a try! It goes on light, but you can really feel it soaking in. It's a nice balance between thick and thin, though the other reviewers are right in saying it probably should be in a pump bottle (I don't personally mind the jar, but I can understand the complaint). I was very worried this would break me out - but I've been using it for several months now and actually, I think my acne is improving! When I wake up in the morning my skin feels refreshed and moisturized, but not greasy (which is completely new to me!). I'm a cheapskate so at about $10 a jar I'm a little squeamish, but going by the amount of product you use it should last me a long time so I'm not as iffy anymore. Definitely a must-try if you're looking for a night cream!

This night cream has been the best one I've used so far, but I still think there is something better out there.
It is rich and very moisturising, I feel like my skin gets an intensive treatment throughout the night but I don't wake up greasy in the morning. This cream hasn't been breaking me out either, which was a worry of mine because I'm oily and acne-prone. I've always been so oily that I've never needed a moisturiser, but I wanted to improve my skintone but worried that a thick night cream would break me out, but I've been fine!
I don't know why this product comes in a tub when it could really do with being in a squeezy tube so you don't get product under your nails, I always feel like I'm putting germs in the pot.
Would buy again and recommend.

I bought this with the day cream on a mega sale 2 for £4 and I really like it. Love the fact its fragrance free. its not too thick or too light (previous simple night cream was quite 'gel' like). not too heavy for my oily skin but still helped reduce lines around the eye.
the only downside is the open jar packaging but for this price you can't complain.
would def buy again and in fact I did while the special off was still on !

I have to agree with some of the other reviews that it's a bit sticky after application. I normally use a Clinique night cream which doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky at all. However, for a $35 difference, this one is an OK substitute when I don't have the money to buy my regular brand. It did not break me out and my skin was soft in the morning. I like that it's fragrance free too, that's mainly why I wanted to try it.

I didn't love it, but I didn't absolutely hate it, either. As far as night creams go, it's really on the light side - the consistency is similar to regular body lotion when you scoop it out of the jar! When I first applied it, it actually looked really shiny...kind of like I sprayed canned sunscreen into my hands, then wiped it on my face without rubbing it in. The product did absorb fairly quickly, but it only moisturized about as well as my day lotion with SPF. It felt slightly sticky, too. When I woke up in the morning, my face needed an extra layer of the Simple night cream + my regular moisturizer in order to stay smooth throughout the day. Overall, I didn't like using it on my face and neck...it was just too light for a night cream. Oh, and it contains parabens, which really surprised me (isn't Simple a "sensitive skin" brand?). At roughly $10/ounce, this product just didn't cut it for me. I ended up using it as a body lotion to use it up, then switched to the Cetaphil cream in a tub.

So when I went to the drugstore I saw this simple line. I LOVE Aveeno but they are expensive for someone without a job. (About 11.99 Canadian for most product's) So when I saw this simple line I decided to try it. I really like this night cream, the packaging is cute, simple- but cute. It's scentless, gentle on your skin and work's like a charm. I put it on for the first time at night, woke up the next morning to soft, refreshed skin. It was amazing. I will be buying this product again simply because it was an effective and inexpensave product : )

This broke me out.
It is not thick enough to be in a jar, should be in a pump bottle.
However, it has no scent and does moisturize without being greasy.

I LOVE THIS. I had been using that garnier gel lotion stuff that everyone has been raving about (I raved about it too.) and I happened to not use it for a day or two and I realized it had caused my skin to almost have a dependency on it. My skin was so dry and miserable. Insert Simple. I have combination skin leaning towards the dry side, but very prone to breakouts. The first night I used it I could almost hear my skin thanking me. The next morning my skin looked so much better. It had toned down a lot of my redness and I looked almost glowy. I have been slathering it on at night and then using significantly less during the day until I can find a decent daytime moisturizer and my skin looks really good. No breakouts. Just happy skin.
-Pros-
-Did not break me out.
-No harsh chemicals.
-Feels really nice on my face.
-Makes me look glowy.
-Evens out skintone.
-Not expensive at all for such a good quality product.
-Cons-
-Could seriously be in a pump. Not thick enough to have to be in a tub.... but I am really not that picky about that. I know some people are, though.
-Can feel a tad greasy... but it's a night cream so I don't mind. Can be a problem if you are trying to wear it during the day as well, though. Just don't apply too much.
Edit- While I still think this is a great moisturizer, I am having to put it away until winter time. Once it got my face back to "normal" after it became so dry, it moisturized too much and my face broke out. I am guessing due to clogged pores because of my face being oilier. This is definitely great to keep on hand during the humid months just in case you need the extra moisture, but it is too much for every day use in this humidity.

I love this stuff! I've been using this cream for a few weeks now,and my skin( which reacts to almost everything), hasn't looked this good in a very long time. I have rosacea and while the pinkness has not gone away completely, it has lessened considerably. I have already bought another jar.

Huge rave for this product. I currently have dry, dry, DRY skin due to medication, and this product is quickly becoming HG. I have been using it for 3 weeks now and this product has not caused any breakouts or irritation. I use this during the day and the night and my skin just soaks it up.
When I am no longer taking this medication, my skin will probably return to a less dry, more oily state. I will probably not be able to use this anymore given other reviewer's claims of greasiness, but when that happens, I fully plan to explore Simple's other moisturizers.

I LOVE this night cream!
This is the first night cream I've ever bought, and to be honest, I only bought it because it was one of the cheapest night creams I could find at Walmart. I would have preferred an Aveeno night cream, but I figured I would try this instead.
I like it a lot...it has a pleasant smell, and it is very hydrating. It makes my skin soooo soft. My skin has looked a lot clearer/smoother/softer since I started using it.
The only downsides to this cream are that it leaves your skin looking oily. I only say this because I work second shift, and I see my boyfriend after work. I usually don't put on makeup that late at night, so I do my nighttime skin routine then, right after my shower. I'm sure it wouldn't matter for someone who puts this on, and then goes right to bed.
In addition, I don't really like that it comes in a plastic jar. It's very hard to use the "right" amount. I would prefer a squeeze tube or a pump, frankly.
Despite those two things, I will keep buying this product. You can't beat the price, and it does what it's supposed to do.
