I bought this conditioner because it is silicone free and seems to have a lot of great ingredients. It's thicker/ waxier in texture than I expected and was worried that it would be too heavy on my fine hair. I use about a pea-sized amount, rubbed through my palms, and then I "squeeze" it in, concentrating on the ends and avoiding the roots. Combing it through helps. After 5-10 minutes, I rinse thoroughly with warm water. Makes my hair shiny and it stays clean looking. The only thing I would say is it does not detangle very well, so whatever shampoo I pair it with needs to be one that doesn't make my hair too tangled. Overall, it's pretty decent for a silicone free conditioner and it works for my fine hair as long as I don't use too much and I rinse really well. I paid $8.99 for 8 ounces, and this tube will probably last me through at least 3-4 bottles of shampoo since I use so little.

Just got the BRIGHTENING shampoo and conditioner in the mail yesterday. I was so excited to try. I like the fact that cosmeticsdatabase gives these 2 out of 10 hazard level, pretty hard to find. I loved the smell and the lathering properties of the shampoo. The conditioner was creamy and but did very little to soften my hair. I did not blow dry, but just let it air dry to see the real effect. The conditioner did not make my hair silky, but it is soft, but a bit frizzy. I like that this is a safe healthy shampoo and conditioner, but will not purchase again.

I can't believe how much me and my family like this shampoo and conditioner. I got it on a whim from drugstore.com b/c I have changed over (a while ago) to all sulfate free/natural hair and skin products. My kids - ages 10 and 11 absolutely love this stuff. They have so many high end shampoos and conditioners in their shower, but they consistently ask me to purchase more of this. My 11 year old daughter has "grown up" hair. She never had that thin, soft, kid-like hair, so we have always had to use more heavy duty conditioner. This is a great balance. Moistuizing, but does not weigh her hair down. Smells wonderful and really adds so much shine. I love it too, but they keep stealing mine. Anyway, I have to use products for more color treated/damaged hair. I just purchased more of this stuff today. i will have to see when it goes on sale b/c it can get a little pricey especially when the kids use waaaay too much.

I've tried nearly every natural/organic conditioner on the market (including everything by John Masters), trying to find one that left my hair shiny and smooth instead of dull and frizzy. Everything has disappointed until a friend was raving about this line.
AMAZING. It leaves my hair smooth, soft and brighter-looking yet doesn't contain a single silicone. I love that it contains citrus extracts and sunflower seed oil to gently clarify and keep highlights bright. And, it has a fantastic fresh peach scent -- and doesn't break the bank like John Masters and Pureology! (Just $8.99)
