I LOVE this color. I wasn't big on shimmers until I got into Sinful and Sugar Sugar is my absolute favorite! I hardly ever wear reds as I find them boring and typical but there is something special about this shade. It's like a shimmery dark cherry - gorgeous!


Application was a dream and to my surprise was completely opaque at 2 coats. No streaks, pooling at cuticles or bubbling. It also dried fairly quickly. A topcoat is probably not even necessary because it ends up so shiny but I always wear one out of habit and it really helped amp up the color.


Overall this color is excellent and I found no problems or concerns with it. I can't comment accurately on wear because I removed it after 5 days (without any chipping) to apply a new color.


I've already bought a backup and anticipate incorporating it into holiday manicures coming up next month.

Without a doubt one of the most beautiful nail polishes I've ever used. A deep, slightly darker than ruby red, with an excellent shimmer. Wears wells.

I've only ever needed two coats for this polish.
I've already used more than half the bottle from using this color all the time, and will definitely be buying more.

Loving this beautiful deep red color. The red is deep red, with no orange- gorgeous color with subtle shimmer, not at all glittery.

The polish itself is great quality, I got full opaque coverage in just two coats. I applied it with Nails Inc base/top coats, and so far it's been 10 days since I applied the polish, but i haven't noticed any chipping.

It was only 99 cents at Walgreens. Definitely will repurchase if I ever use up my polish!

This is my absolute favorite color polish. I can't wear it all the time or I'll get distracted looking at how pretty my nails are! LOL. I've had good luck with this one; depending on how much time and care I've put into application (and whether or not I use a top coat), I've managed to get this to last for a week without looking too beat up once (and I can be rough on nail polish- I do chemistry, so lots of typing and gross latex-glove-wearing and fixing random things that break).

Got this for $1.17 on a drugstore website selling Sinful Colors for 2/$2.32. Worth every penny (and then some!) True red - I went over it with a white crackle and then a red glitter to create my holiday manicure this year. Love this polish!

This is the perfect shimmering red. It's true red and doesn't lean orange. I purchased this for just under $2 at my local grocery store and have been thrilled with it ever since. Two coats of this polish and it is completely opaque. It dries smoothly- adding a topcoat isn't necessary but it looks very nice. This polish wears very well, I'm on day 4 with no chips! The fact that it is cheap, wears well, and the packaging is cute makes this polish a no-brainer for me. I will continue to purchase :)

This is such a pretty red polish. It's the first red polish I have owned, and I love it! I used two coats, and it looks perfect. The color is a true red, it doesn't have any orange in it, if that helps anyone. I will buy again once I run out.

This is one of my favorite red nail polishes I own. I like the fact that it has only a small amount of sparkle in it and it isn't overpowering. Also, it goes on really smoothly and dries super quickly. I would definitely repurchase, especially since the price is amazingly cheap!

I adore this color! It's a deep red with gold shimmer. Long lasting. Applies evenly in two coats. I don't think it's too crazy for work. And it's dirt cheap!

I really think this shade is so very lovely! I don't normally wear reds this "bright" (I lean more towards the deep, almost black reds), but I really think it's great. Can't beat the price! I'll buy again for sure. Give it a shot, ladies :)

One of my favorites. I usually like wearing my reds with no glitter or shimmer but this has the perfect combination of tiny shimmer that it works. Very festive color, application is easy and streak-free, even my 9 year old niece's self manicure came out lovely. Highly recommended and will continue to purchase over and over again. BTW: it just needs a touch of clear or a top coat over it to get that glossy bottle look.

to my eye, when layered over ruby slippers (or pumps, i forget) it looks to me like im not really a waitress by OPI which is my absolute favorite red. i will repurchase this!

This is a gorgeous cool toned red with red microshimmer. I normally don't go for reds but Sugar Sugar stood out to me in the store, it's very festive but not too bright. It will a great color for the holidays. Out of all the colors I own this is my bf's favorite. I have also gifted it several times to friends who love red nail polish. Will repurchase.

Like most Sinful glitter polishes you have to layer it over a base color to get it to look like it does in the bottle. for this one I used 1 layer of Sinful "ruby, ruby" and 2 layers of "sugar, sugar". the result was a perfect, glittery, true red. no streaks, bald spots, etc., and drying time and wear were both excellent.

Sugar Sugar is a deep red shade with lots of red shimmer. I am a PPP and I never thought I could wear red but the color was so pretty and cheap, they're only $2. I decided to just try it since I wouldn't be out a lot of money. I was suprised how wearable it is. It's a universally flattering shade. I paired mine with a Konad stamp in black and I like the way it turned out. The color chipped after two days but I had been house cleaning and typing. I used Seche Vite top coat but I waited for my nails to dry before applying the top coat and apparently that is a big no-no and if I would have applied the Seche Vite correctly, my nails might not have chipped so soon. I will try it again and update later. Overall I really like the color and the consitancy. It was easy to apply and I didn't have any trouble with bubbling or streaking.
