I am acne prone and just could not trust that this wouldn't break me out. I broke down and got a tiny $10 vial from the health food store when my dryness was at its peak, and a drop or two of the oil helped without breaking me out.

I quickly found about 900 other reasons to use it and ended up ordering the acne.org version because its a good deal.

Works like gang busters to remove eye make up. Makes my hair shine like hell. It will soften the scaliness of eczema during a Minnesota winter. Safe for my dogs weird dry spots in January.... The list goes on. Google it and you will find hundreds of things that it will help with.

Maybe the packaging needs a little work. I got a clean empty eye dropper bottle and now put the oil in there because its easier to handle. I will get this again.

I have read that Jojoba Oil is a great makeup remover and it truly is! I am so happy i bought Acne.org's Jojoba Oil because it has so many great beauty uses. I apply a few small drops on a cotton pad to remove mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow. I then pour a small dot and evenly apply to face after washing. My face has a great glow afterwards and also feels moisturized.

with my acne prone skin (totally clear now, thanks to acne.org!) - it's so nice that this oil works so well for me. It is truly not comedogenic for me and I break out easily. I have used Melvita before and I could not trust that one. I use this to remove heavy waterproof eye makeup. I also add a few drops to my moisturizer (acne.org) and I also put a few drops in my hair conditioner etc. I was very cautious at first. Now I don't worry about it (how much, where etc.). Very very VERY pleased. I have been using for a few months. I am finishing my first bottle. I have just ordered 3 more...It's great stuff to have around. Best part is that over time jojoba is supposed to balance oil production. Also, I think that for skin to be healthy - if your skin has been messed up - give your lipid barrier time to improve. If you have other products that you trust and love -- just add some drops to whatever product you like it boosts the moisture.

Oh, Jojoba Oil. I was so skeptical about you but I am so glad I began using you. My skin used to be VERY oily around the forehead area. Jojoba oil regulated the oils in my skin leaving it very normal, not dry not oily. I use it every night after I shower when my skin is moist. I how shiny it makes me skin look so sometimes I'll dap a little on my cheek bones when I am going out for the night. Anyway, this is an amazing moisturizer that should not break you out (coming from a girl who's skin is VERY sensitive to 90% of products). I definitely recommend!

I use this to remove my face and eye makeup. I rub it on my dry face and remove it with a cotton ball then I use my cleanser. I also use it to add to any moisturizer when I need that extra boost of moisture! This product is so versitile it can be used for pretty much anything! Def going to be keeping this in my skin care routine.

I read on acne.org that this was a great eye makeup remover, and it is! My waterproof eyeliner and mascara come off beautifully with just a couple drops of this oil on a cotton pad. I have also used this as a moisturizer for my feet (putting socks on over it before bed). You can put some in a separate bottle and put a couple drops of lavender essential oil in it, which is lovely.

I use this Jojoba oil to take off makeup. Just apply a few drops and makeup will slide right off! I like that it's pure and natural and I don't have to worry about breakouts from clogged pores or from chemical sensitivities. It doesn't burn eyes either, which is why it is the only thing I will use for removing eyeliner and mascara. I have had the bottle for a couple of years and am still only halfway through it, so it is very price efficient.

The only gripe that I have is the packaging. The oil tends to seep/leak from the lid a little and I have to constantly wipe it off. Therefore, it is not really suitable for travel at all.

Another great use I want to mention, is that my dog sometimes gets dark, hard buildup from his eye seepage, and applying a generous amount of this oil to the buildup will help it to slide off of his eye area when I am bathing him instead of me trying to rub & scrub around the delicate eye area.

Jojoba oil is a must for anyone concerned with breakouts, because you can slather on as much as you like and it won't break you out. While I was going through the dry/flaky stage of The Regimen, I would put straight jojoba on my face to speed up the healing process. It is also good to add a few drops to moisturizer. I'm going to have to try it out on my hair, since it is curly and also dry. The bottle dispenses a few drops at a time, which makes adding a small amount to moisturizer easy.

This is truly great. As others have noted it does NOT add to breakouts. I have used this for about two years. I think it also helps impurities escape from the skin. When I use this over the acne treatment at night my skin is clearer than if I don't use it to moisturize. I do allow at least ten minutes for the benzoyl peroxide to penetrate my skin before moisturizing. A very small amount is all that is needed,
a bottle lasts me for several months.
This is also good for very dry skin, removing eye makeup without
difficulty.

I purchased all of the acne.org products and they are great! I went off the pill and antibiotics and my skin went absolutely nuts and nothing I used would work as every other product for acne either irritated my skin too much or did absolutely nothing, it took about 2 months of using the acne.org products for my skin to settle down, I do still get a few blackheads and the occasional white head so this isn't an all out absolute cure (I don't think anything is) but I no longer have a face full of them with big painful blind pimples along my jawline and chin as I did before. I find the jojoba oil is great when I need that extra boost to moisturize my skin if its gotten a bit dry, red or sensitive (whether from the treatment, weather or anything else eg.morning after a big night). I can use it by itself to my face or mixed with the moisturizer depending how I feel. Also I found this stuff works extremely well for my hair to, I normally suffer from dry and frizzy hair, I found however that applying a couple drops of this stuff straight after a shower when my hair is wet then coming it through works wonders, in the morning I have no frizz and my hair is soft and shiny.

This made me break out in the worst acne of my life! I seriously hated life at one point because my skin just looked soooo bad. I see that it works for some people but it was horrible for me. Took me months to undo the damage that this took on my skin and even now I am left with acne scars :( It takes forever to absorb as well. try rose hip oil, it is MUCH better.

My husband has been on Dan's regime for years and has had great results, so we buy from acne.org frequently. I'd been using a brand from a local store when acne.org started offering their jojoba oil, and found that it's way cheaper to buy it from them than to get it from a grocery/health store.

A lot of it has to do with the bottle. Most of the other brands I've used haven't had the dropper lid built right in to it, so you'd have to either deal with the mess (and the wasted product) or buy a dropper bottle separately. I like that the acne.org bottle dispenses just the amount I need and isn't awkward to hold (I have some dexterity issues with my hands) so I don't end up with spills all over my counter.

As for the product itself: I love love love using it in my fine, curly, super dry hair. A few nights a week, I'll drench my hair in jojoba oil to leave overnight and then shampoo it out in the morning. The tangles and dryness have decreased quite a bit. I also use just a few drops smoothed through the ends of my hair during the day to give my hair moisture and shine. And it's much easier to comb my hair once I have some oil in it, meaning I no longer have to spend 20 minutes just getting a comb through.

I also love this on my skin. Adding a few drops to my cleanser and moisturizer helps me combat the flaky dryness, and I also use it to dilute tea tree oil as a spot treatment. Never had a bad reaction to it, there's no strong smell to it like other oils, and a bottle lasts me quite a while, even though I use it constantly.

Highly recommend!

A little goes a long way with this product. I bought this during my 2nd month on the regime. I use this at night and mix it with my moistruizer. Also, I use this to remove my makeup when I run out of my makeup wipes. It really helps add more moisture to my skin! If you have dry and sensitve skin, I recommend getting this as soon as you begin the regime. I wish I had bought it when I placed my first order. But this works great! It never has irritated my skin.

Hi everyone!
I've been on the regimen for 3 weeks now and I'm still breaking out. The moisturizer is horrible to me and was wondering if anyone else was also on the Acne.org regimen that knew of other moisturizers that work for them? (even if i add tons of jojoba oil it still isn't moisturizing enough) My skin is extremely oily and I break out very easily! All suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks so much :)

I just bought my jojoba oil today and plan on using it strictly as a moisturizer, (added with a little of my rose oil, it felt good going on), to my normal routine....I am only branching out as now that I am in my 30's my skin is changing a bit, especially around my period...I get dryer than I have ever been around my eyes, nose, mouth and neck, very strange, and the rose hip oil/rose water moisturizer wasn't cutting it. I have also tried the Vicco turmeric & sandalwood and it was no big whoop, didn't break me out and I didn't see any real improvements either for the dryness, (the only thing that has made a difference with the sandalwood/turmeric mix is the body soap, really awesome results, but I use it strictly on my lower body, I didn't like the film it left on my face). I did like Burt's Bee's Ageless, but I am frugal (read cheap, lol) and I can't see myself paying $25 every couple weeks because whatever I use on my face I use on my back, chest, neck and upper arms so needless to say, it goes quickly...I will update if this breaks me out or not...hopefully not, I don't want to have to experiment every time I turn a new decade, lol~

When I first started the regime, I picked up this product to help moisturize my skin as it got used to the new products and I loved it. I actually tend to use this for everything. I love using this as a makeup remover, as it leaves my skin so soft and smooth. And as someone who has been very prone to breakouts, this has never caused me to breakout.
I once even used this on my husbands sunburn when it began to peel and it helped moisturize and heal it up faster. Definitely a handy product to have. I have had this for about 6 or 7 months and am still on my first bottle with about 1/3 of the product left! Will definitely be repurchasing!

If you want to buy jojoba oil, buy this one! It's a big bottle of pure organic goodness and will last you forever. I add 3 drops of this to my cerave lotion every night and I wake up with moisturized skin, even in the dry winter in New Mexico! The best part is that it doesn't break me out. On their website the owner Dan suggestion 6+ drops and I think 3 drops work fine for me and I don't want to risk getting acne.

I love this stuff. I never really thought about ever using jojoba oil until i read about the regimen at acne.org. I have to say that it has worked wonders on my skin. Right before I started to use this (with the acne.org moisturizer and acne.org treatment ) my skin was sooo dry. I didn't know what to do, I had terrible dry skin patches over my eyes and flakey skin on my face near my mouth. This has completely changed all that. My skin is moist without becoming oily. Love this!

Like others here, I purchased this with the rest of the acne.org regimen. I have to admit, I was skeptical of using this on my face, confident that this, like so many other products, would harm my skin rather than helping it. However, jojoba oil (for me at least) has proved to be nothing short of a miracle. As my face begins to flake from using the treatment, I find that the moisturizer just isn't enough. I apply the oil pretty liberally to my face and it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a sheen. I can still apply primer and makeup with no hassle. The bottle you get is generous and a few drops will go a long way. I've taken to mixing this in with my body lotion as well to combat winter itchiness and it works as well for the rest of my skin. Highly recommend!

This is the only brand jojoba oil i have tried and I do like it, although i'm only using it at the moment to moisturise my lips. I use to use it as a primer before applying bp (acne.org regime) and then as an addition to the moisturiser and found that it helped with added moisture and the controlling of flakes. It didn't cause me to break out, although when applied in larger quantities, more than 4 drops i found my face to be really oily and shiny. I also found that this product took a long time to absorb into my face although some people report that it easily absorbed. Reasonable pricing.
