What is everyone else talking about.. I have the most finickey skin in the world (very sensitive, very dry in places, acne in others) and this worked great for me. It didnt change my skin type or anything, but overall i was much clearer than usual - and i stopped looking like i was so dull that I was on the verge of death. Great product.

this is great for people with perfect skin. however i do not have perfect skin. mine is acne prone. occasionaly i get a glow from this--when my skin is clear. i find it doesn't help with acne. (mine is severe) my blessed sister with the perfect skin loves this product and is already on her second. it makes her skin glow--radiant i tell you. oh, it's expensive! i think 95 bucks. packaging sucks, smells bad. (kind of like hydrogen peroxide) you can smell it working. but again, for people with decent skin.

I wish I had known about this site before I bought this. It id nothing for my existing acne...it seems to be more of a preventative treatment. It does burn a little and it really dried out my skin and kind of made my existing blemished worse I wish I had saved my money..I feel really mislead by the 'BLISS HYPE'...i wish I had purchased the Kinerase clear skin serum instead.

I am not really sure if this does anything....I used it as a spot treatment like the "bliss catalog" says to do and it still takes days for the blemish to go away. I once used it all over my face and omg what a breakout!

I bought this off ebay (as Double Oxygenating Booster, for $20 cheaper than the list price), after finally caving into the hype from the Bliss catalog. My 35 year-old skin definitely suffers from the "monthlies", and it was basically for this reason that I bought it. Overall, I think it was a good buy--especially since I use it as a spot treatment, and since it is 1.7oz, it will last a long, long time. I dot this on at the first sign of a pimple, and the smaller ones sometimes disappear overnight, with the larger cysts sometimes taking a couple of days--but it definitely shortens their course. If I really put a lot on, it can be drying, but when I restrain myself, it's usually okay. (I used to use Murad Spot Treatment with 3% sulfur, but that was really drying.) On a few of my big cysts that didn't seem to be responding well, I actually used both the Booster, and the Murad--figuring that the combination would be similar to using 2 antibiotics to target resistant bacteria--and it really worked. (Immune cells need oxygen to kill bacteria, and the spot treatment with sulfur should work in a similar fashion to sulfa drugs like Septra/Bactrim). So, I guess if you're willing to spend a lot of $$ to lessen the pain of monthly cystic breakouts, go for it. (I, personally, would never use as an all-over treatment--too pricey to waste, and would probably dry as well. I might try it as a preventative chin treatment, however, and see if it helped....)

Very expensive, but I would repurchase because this is one of the best things I've ever used on breakouts. The Double Oxygenating Booster does have hydrogen chloride so that's what the product smells like and its the only thing keeping me from slathering this all over my face. I use it as a spot treatments on pimples and it doesn't dry out the skin at all, but the extra doses of oxygen my skin gets from this product really clears up my skin. I really really really like this product a LOT!!!

Remede's Double Oxygenating Booster (replaced the Amplifier in the old silver pump), is my HG for breakouts and I spot it religiously on active areas of my T-zone during the hot, humid, less-than-skin-friendly days of summer. The reviews here have been so varied, but I must add mine to the positive tab. I really do love this; if I catch a potential troublemaker early, and use this product religiously, I find I can actually prevent a breakout which amazes me! It's something my scientific side absolutely balks at believing, but I can't argue with the consistent results I've achieved. I use it far, far less frequently in drier climates as it is too strong for me under those circumstances, but otherwise I've found it to be effective, easy to use (as it is now packaged in a 50mL tube), easy to pack, etc. At $95 a pop, though, it's not the least expensive thing on the block by far! However, a tiny dab is all I've needed to spot here and there and thus a single tube does last me quite some time. It's basically unscented and I haven't had any problems with using it along with various other skin care products or lines so, as I have in the past, I'll definitely be purchasing this product again.

I dont think this line agrees w/ my skin. It clogged my pores & did not help my complexion at all. Had to stop using right away.

Noticed no difference, ever! Nearly impossible to get the pump to work and you can't get the bottle open to scrape what's left when it runs low. I can't believe I spent so much on this. Neutrogena Multi-Vitamin works SOOOOOOO much better and a heck of a lot cheaper.

Previously tried the "Purifying Active Amplifier" with bad results. Splurged on this after reading the positive reviews....it's definitely better than the Purifying one, but I agree that you must have oily skin to use this - it's pretty drying. I can't use it on my whole face because I have dry areas like my cheeks and temples. Smells very chemical/alcohol-like. Consistency is a thin lotion. I only use this at night underneath a separate moisturizer. Results in the morning are so-so. Existing blemishes dry up, but I notice several new ones form every once in a while. No bad reactions, but I feel that this isn't helping my skin to the level I want it to (esp. since this costs ~$70 for just over 1oz) - I'm also worried about the "hydrogen peroxide" listed in the ingredients(bad for skincare).

Applied directly to skin. In the AM, it helped makeup stay on and prevent premature oily breakthrough. Absorbed well. In the PM: Did a good job at controlling oil and preventing breakouts. More effective than the regular Oxygenating Amplifier. Can dry out skin, so unless you have oily skin, mix it with moisturizer.

This is amazing! It has made such a big difference in my oily, acne-prone skin. I apply one a half pumps to my face every night and wake up with clear, glowing skin. It contains about 2% BHA and Hydrogen Peroxide to exfoliate and kill bacteria. It is very expensive at $65, but I think it's well worth it! My only rant is the awful packaging- the bottle is metal so you can't see how much remains, and the pump isn't very reliable. The pump cannot be taken out either, so I'm sure that there is still some product in there when nothing comes out of the pump. But, I would definitely repurchase!

This product did nothing but make my face greasy and smell bad. Thought it was making a difference for a while but no - serious break-outs as a result, and soooo ridiculously expensive.

this stuff is great for clarifying your skin - really! My monthly acne was almost entire subdued, and oil production seemed more under control. It's pricey ($65) but it does actually clear up your skin if used regularly. However, it also bleached my eyebrows (with the peroxide). That seems like a small price to pay, what with tinted brow gels around. Not a moisturizer - use this before your regular moisturizer.

Hands down, this is my new holy grail skincare product. Despite the appearance of several frightening ingredients in this product (e.g., acne-inducing isopropyl palmitate among others- and I break out at the drop of a hat) my skin has never looked better- this after 5 consecutive days of twice daily use. I almost returned this when I saw the ingredient list, but decided the worst that could happen is that I'd break out and then I'd just swap it away. I'm so glad I didn't. For $65, (the reason for the "2" on price) this is a superior product and really a decent buy when you consider the other products out there that deliver these kinds of results- smoother glowing skin, smaller-appearing pores, removal of sallowness and breakouts. I gave this a three for packaging only because I deplore opaque pump packaging. First, you can never tell if you're about to run out. Second, pumps don't allow you to get every last drop of product. Nonetheless, I will definitely repurchase! FOLLOW UP: I think this gave me two cysts after a week. So, not my HG after all. I'm really disappointed. This may work for less acne prone skin than mine.

My review of the regular Oxygenating amplifier explains what a difference that product made for my skin. When I saw this new, stronger form of the amplifier, I was intrigued. The SA at Barneys told me that it was really only for oily skin and that since I have combo skin I shouldn't buy it. But my skin is oilier in the summer and I also thought maybe this would be good for those once-a-month hormonal breakouts. So I ignored her and bought it. I'm so glad that I did!!! It is thicker and stronger than the original oxyg. amplifier and has a mattifying effect on skin. It doesn't irritate my skin at all and clears up my complexion FAST when I have a slight breakout. Used in conjunction with the original, this product helps to keep my skin absolutely clear and smooth. I've thrown out all my other products and just use these with cleanser and sunscreen. Simple but my skin has never looked so good. Sample this or the regular oxyg. amplifier first to make sure that it is for you. For me, these are miracle products.
