I bought this liner on a whim the other day, and I may just be a converted MAC eyeliner user permanently! It's a beautiful, sparkly deep teal color, it glides on perfectly, and the best part is that it doesn't smudge on my upper eyelids, which most other eyeliners do (even waterproof ones)!! Stays on pretty much all day. I may try a few other colors for a change-up, but this one is a keeper!

This is my favorite colored eyeliner.
It is sparkly, and dramatic- perfect for a night out or when you want your eyes to be noticed.
It's incredibly long-lasting, and does not budge. Even on someone like me, who has oily eyelids.
I would not recommend using it on your waterline, however, because of the glitter (it can be irritating).

very pretty colour. It does smudge a little bit when I use it over the lower lash line. After I remove this at night I get glitters all over my face. The fun thing about this beauty is that you can prime your lids, glide this on, as some mascara and you're done. I do think it will not last long. After two uses I have to charpen it.

Undercurrent is a beautiful teal green with a golden glow. It has some very fine micro-glitter which enhances the shine, but if you don't like glitter, you might not like this.
Pearlglide liners glide on smoothly, but sometimes with a bit of unevenness which is easily fixed with an additional swipe. The colors really are intense - they do stand out. These do not irritate my sensitive eyes when used as a liner or lid color. Because of the glitter, however, this is NOT a good product for the waterline, since glitter in the eye is irritating.
Two negatives i notice:
-- a tendency to smudge on me (but some people want that)
and
-- a tendency to fade after a few hours.
Both these problems may be eased by applying over a lid primer - i really need to try that!
I love the Pearlglide Intense Eye Liners: the ease of application, the intense colors, and the shimmery finish. i have 4 colors out of 7, and i'm considering getting another one.

Hands-down, one of the most gorgeous colors I have ever seen in an eyeliner! I love glittery liners and quality ones are extremely difficult to find. The one thing that puzzles me, upon reading others reviews is that it absolutely smudges into my crease and upper eyelid within a few hours. All liners do on me, so it's not a deal-breaker or anything, I am just surprised that so many people say it doesn't smudge and is "unbudgeable." I have been trying to be lazy and get away with wearing it on bare lids without primer, but I think I'll just bite the bullet and start using my UDPP underneath and then it will truly be perfect. Highly, highly recommend!

This has got to be the most gorgeous eyeliner I've ever seen. Deep teal with golden shimmer. It's deep and complex, almost murky but stunning. I really like wearing this with the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Edgy Emerald, they compliment each other quite well. Pearlglide eyeliners are really fantastic, they go on so easily, blend out nicely, wear for ages and look nice the whole time. I have quite a few but this is just the one that stands out the most to me.

Pearlglides are my favorite of all the MAC brand pencils. I find that the line lasts longer without fading and smudging- even when my eyes get watery from allergies and sinus issues. They outperform every MAC Technakohl & Powerpoint pencil, and are even better than my 2 other faves: MUFE Aqua eyes and Urban Decay's 24/7 pencil eyeliners. That being said, Undercurrent is a gorgeous, dark, shimmery, teal eyeliner pencil that applies without tugging on the delicate eye area & lasts all day on me. When I really want the color to :: POP :: I apply it over a line of MAC Pearlglide in Petrol Blue. Those 2 colors combined are AMAZING!!! I don't know why MAC releases these Pearlglides only on a limited edition basis, because this is definitely one of their BEST products and I believe each color gets stellar reviews. Why not keep them around permanently? They are being re-released on a LE basis again, of course, sometime in early 2012. If you haven't tried one yet, I'd definitely recommend grabbing one when they are available again. If you are a pencil eyeliner lover.... I don't think you'll be too disappointed in these. :)

I purchased this at a makeup discount store for only $10. I love it!! It's such a great color and I love how soft the pencil is and how easily it glides on. And it doesn't smear or smudge or anything. Actually doesn't come off until I use eyemakup remover. Going back to stock up!!

This pencil is gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! A slightly tealy green with golden sparkle that is brethtaking (to me as a big fan of green), these also stay put very well once they've set. You can smudge them when first applied but they do set fairly quickly. They are glittery but it's a nice fine glitter that I personally quite like, not as chunky as some cheaper glitter liners I've seen. One of the most beautiful and unbudgable eyeliners I've ever come across, for sure. I have no idea why MAC doesn't make some of their Pearlglides permanent, they seem to be very popular!

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. does not stick on the water line but this color is A M A Z I N G .. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of a 5 rating is because of the mess when you take it off... the gold glitter gets everywhere around the eye area no matter what makeup remover i use...

Undercurrent is very beautiful green with glitter.
I noticed that UD's covet is same color but covet don't have the glitter.
Covet is also beautiful however I love undercurrent than UD's covet.
because I only use undercurrent lower corner lush line. so I want to more showing!

This is the first time I have bought a back-up of any cosmetic item, ever. It is also my first Pearlglide liner. The colour is INSANELY gorgeous and this is so easy to use. I do my makeup on the train on the way to work (hour-long trip) so all my makeup has to be very portable and non-spillable i.e. no pigment powders :(
This is like "pigment in a stick" in that it gives me the same vibrant colour and sparkle as I get from pigment powder and a wet liner brush. It lasts all day and through the night as well :)

I was on the fence about buying this liner because I felt that Undercurrent was a little too close in color to Float on By, which was released with To the Beach, or somewhat similar to Humid. I WAS SOOO WRONG!!! Undercurrent is mostly green with a touch of blue and small gold sparkles. Float on By is more blue with a touch of green and has a shimmer instead of the sparkles. Humid is a dark green with a gold shimmer. Undercurrent, and all of the other pearlglide liners, are limited edition, they are SUPER SOFT, the LASTING POWER IS INSANE, and the colors are AMAZING!!! I picked them up in every color. I will repurchase these everytime they're released, even though they should be permanent!!!
*Note: DO NOT USE THESE DIRECTLY IN YOUR WATER LINE! GLITTER + SCRATCHES ON EYEBALL + DAMAGE TO EYEBALL= NOT GOOD!!!

I'm so happy I finally caved and bought this! I love pearglide liners and have so many different colours but for some reason never picked this up. After swatching it again at the counter...I had to have it! I'm wearing it right now as a thin line on my upper eye lid with carbon black voluminous mascara...looks soo gorgeous and gives my eyes that sexy pop of colour. I got a tip from the lady at Mac to use this as an eyeshadow or base...its creamy enough to blend! I think I'll be wearing this alot.

Words cannot describe how much I LOVE this eyeliner!!! I am a fluidline girl all the way, but this product is so easy to apply and the color absolutely stunning!!! If you use your hand lightly, you'll get a nice pale teal-green with a bit of glitter in it, but if you increase the pressure, you're going to get an INTENSE dark green/blue with gold glitter that looks FANTASTIC on anyone!!! I usually have a very sensitive water line, but this stays on and doesn't irritate me much at all--when I first apply, it bugs me for a few minutes and then I'm over it.
This color is so versatile it's almost overwhelming. A little bit in your lash line gives you just a hint of color so it's perfectly noticeable (with the benefit of it not irritating your waterline, if you are sensitive), or more on the lid for a dramatic cat eye for nighttime. The swatch on the mac website truly doesn't do this color justice--get to the counter and try it yourself!!!!

Well to be honest, because of the pictures I thought this pearlglide is something in between green and blue but its not. Its a glittery green I would say. Even though the pictures are misleading I like the way it looks and it combines fantastically with moonlight night pigment.

Undercurrent is a such a stuning shade! It's a teal-ish color with gold glitter that applies smoothly. Due to the smoothness is doesn't stay as long as regular kohls do on me but who am I to say this is a bad thing? I wore this a lot during the summer months and got a ton of compliments, although I think it clashes a bit with my green eyes.
I don't see myself running out of it soon but if I ever would I would repurchase it in a heart beat.
