On my NC30/C4 skin tone this lipgloss is a light brown, caramel colour. It is a good nude and looks fine on me! The texture is thick but not sticky, however the smell is weird. Its a plastic smell, sadly nothing like the usual vanilla smell of the other Mac lipglosses.

I love this lipgloss on my NC45/50 skin tone. After first purchasing this, I hated it. But it slowly grew on me. In fact, It grew on me so much I ended up having to purchase another tube. I tend to pair this lipglass with Mac's Touch lipstick and viola, you have the perfect nude lip for Woc. I guarantee!!

Love! I went in looking for something warmer for the fall. It's a really pretty nude...kinda like a mocha (carmel) that doesn't wash me out. Most nudes make me look dead and pretty much hide my naturally pigmented full lips. This however enhances my pout. A must try for sure!

I do love the mute color and all, it looks good on me being nw45 it defiantely is a nude color. There is one problem I have with this lipglass, and that is the smell. It smells like a crayon to me...weird...but I do love it oh so much yet I dont wear it much at all bc of the scent but I do achieve that muted nude look i like oh so much

Revealing is even better than Shock-o-late. It is possibly the best nude lip gloss that I've ever tried on. This color is good if you want a true, light brown gloss.

I wanted a neutral colour that would cancel the pink in my lips and this gloss does exactly that.

My favorite lipstick is freckletone. I went to Mac today to find a color just like freckltone but with more color payoff. Freckletone is a lustre finish and the color goes on a little too sheer for my liking. After trying other nude lipsticks in other finishes like velvet Teddy, shy girl, creme de nude and etc, I gave up finding a lipstick that looked like freckletone but more opaque. Anyways I decided to pick up a lip glass and saw that revealing looked like a great neutral nude. And it is!!!! It doesn't give me corpse lips.
Edit: I'm paler now and it's a muddy brown color on me now. Not recommended for people NC 30 or lighter, but may look nice for more tanned people looking for a natural neautral nude l/g/

my life is incomplete without this lipglass. im nc45-nc50 (seasonal) and it is truly the "perfect nude lip". its so pigmented and provides full coverage. it looks like carmel goodness on your lips. a total must have for medium to deep brown skin tones. i cant rave enough. the only con to it is that it can be hard to blend at times but its worth it once u perfect it. all my brown ladies, GO GET IT! u will never search again for another nude lip

Great nude color for lighter skinned AA girls (Idk my MAC color but I'm Tan in BareMinerals). I would give it a 5 if it smelled like a normal lipglass! It smells odd, a bit like concealer as another reviewer mentioned. Looks good on it's on our with Siss, for super nude nude lips. I just experimented by putting it over 5N and that will be a nice plummy tan combo for the fall.

I've had this color in my makeup stash for some years now. I've also been trying to find the perfect nude lip, that doesn't make me look like Tyrone, the crackhead Dave Chapelle plays. Anyway after trying Madcap ( "Hated it") and Siss ( really hated it!!!! and now I'm stuck with it) I pulled out Revealing yesterday and I'm glad I did. Why have I not been using this? This is the perfect nude lipcolor for my NC45 skintone when used Chestnut lipliner. This one is going back in my purse.

Beautiful nude color. This lipglass has a slightly weird smell to it. Very thick gloss. It is similar to the amplified lipstick underplay.

I'm an nc 37-40 for reference with pigmented lips and this lipglass looks a bit too bland on me. I prefer a bit more color and Revealing comes off as beige/brown on my lips. It does look better if I dab it on with the wand as opposed to swiping it on as it looks less opaque and shows more of my natural lip coloring underneath. I do use this to tone down or lighten certain lipstick shades but won't wear it on its own.

this is a nice nude colour on my nc42 skin. I prefer to wear this when i'm having a strong eye day to keep my look from being too in your face.
It isn't long lasting but I've yet to find a long lasting gloss. I like it. A good staple.

OMG!!!! I LIVE for this color. Im a NC45/Warm tan for the bare minerals ladies out there and I must say that this is the PERFECT NUDE gloss. I personally pair it with cork lip liner and Siss Lip stick for staying power. Wonderful color.

I'm NC44/45 and this color isn't very flattering. I've tried working with it (over liner, over lipstick, or layering it with other colors) and it just doesn't work for me. It looks as if a took a concealer and put it on my mouth. Maybe I'm not used to this type of nude color, but as of now I don't wear.

i bought this forever ago. during the grunge heyday. it's still a lovely color on me but i like a bit of warmth to nude lips. this gives off a bit of a corpse like look. i would say it's comparable to Fresh Brew lipstick by MAC. ok but nothing you need to go out of your way to purchase.
