I never use toners. I always feel like they leave my skin feeling tacky, unnatural and excessively oilier than necessary. Plus they always tend to make my skin breakout. Shu Uemura's new Depsea Hydrability Moisturising Lotion Enriched, however, is an exception. Shu Uemura recently replaced their toner depsea line with depsea hydrability. And because I've recently moved to a different country, which was leaving my skin quite dry during the winter, I thought I'd give their Depsea Hydrability line a try since I typically have good results with this company. I use the enriched toner version, which I'm told by the salesperson, is much more enriching (duh!). I use it in conjunction with the accompanying concentrate and, when my skin is really dry, moisturizing cream. Since it's still winter, I'm still using duo/trio. However, as the weather warms up, and since I have normal/combo skin, I'm pretty sure I won't need to use the duo/trio during summertime, but instead I'll very lightly apply the toner.

No negatives, but another positive is that it doesn't irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin. I had yet to come across a product line that didn't irritate my skin, so I'm happy with this product and will definitely keep buying it when I run out.
