I got the trio for blue eyes because, well, I have blue eyes, and there was a 40% off coupon for PF. I almost never wore gel liners because they tended to transfer to my upper lids during the day, and they also dry out over time, making them hard to use and wasteful.
But these liners are great. The trio has a navy blue, a brown, and a black with faint blue shimmer.
The colors go on smoothly and heavily, instead of streaky. They are also easy to control and shape along the lashline. I can do either a very fine line right in the lashes, or a heavier one for a more dramatic, intensified eye. I barely have to pat my liner brush into the pot, and it picks up enough color. If I pick up too much, I just work it into the back of my hand a little bit. The color also lasts all day and doesn't melt under or above the eyes.
I like that there's three colors in one stack. I can use warm brown or cool blue or black depending on my eyeshadow. And the pots take up little space in my kit.
This product has changed me from someone who never wore gel liner to someone who wears it a few times a week. I never really buy PF products, but this is one that should be given a chance.

I don't usually try Physician's Formula unless there's a very good sale (at least 40% off or some kind of money back) because I find them to be expensive for the drugstore but I bought these on a whim in a clearance bin and was extremely surprised with how amazing they are!
.
BUDGE PROOF -- These things are amazing. I wanted to use them as an eyeshadow or as a base so I swatched them on my hand with my ring finger and not only was it beautiful (taupe-purple Glam Green Eyes) but I tried to rub it off with a paper towel and it did not budge! I even tried washing it and it still stayed! Plus, the metallic finish is even still there! I mean, seriously, even though they're pricier, this kind of quality at the drugstore is mind blowing.
.
SHADES -- I have them in standard purple, brown, green, blue, black but I also have the "Glam Eyes" collection which is more metallic and shimmery. I wouldn't use the metallic shades as liner but they work fantastically as eye shadows. If you like the Maybelline Color Tattoo shadows then you will really think these are phenomenal.
.
These are creamy and apply very smoothly without any skipping or patchiness. I really can't stop gushing about these as eye shadows because I haven't found anything that stays like these do. It doesn't transfer at all. I really hope they aren't discontinuing these because I just discovered them and they are now totally holy grail items for me.

My high rating is for quality vs. price. So cheap in comparison to more expensive similar products.
Lasts all day on the waterline with my semi-oily skin, and doesn't flake or smear. It does fade "slightly" on flight days, but those are 16 hour days. There is also slight fading on funeral days, which is amazing considering I'm a crier... I just dab my eyes with kleenex instead of rubbing them (or I let the tears simply fall) and the liner stays put.
Don't worry about a bunch of glitter bits in your eyes. There's almost no glitter in all 3 of these colors. I don't even notice it.
I use the Quo Professional angled eyeliner brush (which I love!), so I have no comments on the included brush.
I bought the brown eyes combo and thought I'd only ever use the black one (I'm extremely conservative with colour), but I've actually used them all. Both the purple & brown are fairly dark too, so there's no crazy purple popping colour - and it's kind of fun when I'm wearing purple/pink clothing.

I'm giving this an overall rating of 4 because the color selection, formula and staying power are good. Unfortunately I believe I'm allergic to these liners. My eyes became red, irritated and goopy while my eyelids started peeling while wearing this product. At first I contributed the peeling to the retinoids I've been using for yrs without any trouble and the redness/irritation to seasonal allergies. When these symptoms first appeared, I stopped wearing any eye makeup for a few days. When I started wearing makeup again, I decided to wear Physician's Formula's liquid liner just because I wanted to try it. I went many weeks without any eye problems until two days ago when I decided to to line my eyes with this liner again. Sure enough, all the symptoms returned. It's a shame because I really liked this product.

My mom bought me a pack, for green eyes, as a stocking stuffer for christmas. I absolutly adore this stuff! It glides on like butter, and stays until I wash my face- sometimes if i get lazy and dont wash off my eye makeup before bed ill wake up and its still there! However I only use the black, im not sure how to wear the other colors (purple and green) for some reason I look stupid when wearing colored eyeshadow/eyeliner lol. Personally, its worth it to buy the pack of three for just the one black! I wish they made a seperate container for it! And I love the little stack of 3, its so cute! This stuff is awesome, and it lasts a loooooong time!

I received the pack for brown eyes from my friend! Been hearing things about this eyeliner but never tried it til now coz of the price, I guess it's just a bit costly for a drugstore brand.
BUT, this is the best gel liner I've used, sorry maybelline! It's very long lasting, I wore it for like...12 hrs yesterday and it didn't smudge nor did the colour fade! Didn't have to do touch ups for it at all! And forgot to mention that this was without the use of primer!!! How awesome is that?
The only thing I dislike about this liner is that it comes in a pack of 3...so if you run out one colour..you'll need to get all 3 of them..which can be a waste..I LOVE the brown and the black..haven't tried the purple but it seems to purple-ish to me!:/

The black color works amazingly well (I have two, one from Glam blue eyes set and one from Glam brown eyes set) but the other colors are not that amazing. The blue from the blue eyes trio is especially disappointing (crumbly and underpigmented), the gold and silver are ok but I mostly use them for highlighting the inner corner of the eye, they don't really create a sharp line by themselves and the brown is pretty average. I would definitely repurchase because the black color is just as good as the Maybelline and Essence gel eyeliners but if you are buying it for the different colors you might be disappointed.

BEST CREAM/GEL eye liner ever! its the creamiest liner I have ever used. I bought the one for brown eyes and it comes in black, brown, and purple. I use the black and brown the most. I use the black one when want a dramatic look because the black one is high in pigmentation so its really black. I used the brown one when I want to have a natural look. And I use the purple one for a pop of colour. It stays on my lids in till I take it off. Unlike my other cream/gel liners this one never smudges on me. Its a little bit pricey but it works great and lasts a long time so its worth it. So If your looking for a good drug store cream/gel eye liner go for this one! Will buy this again but I am sure I don't have too because I have been using this for a year everyday but I still haven't made a dent in it!

I'm only speaking from the sensitive, dry eye point of view - HG gel liner that I can use on waterline with ZERO irritation...that's HUGE for me considering my eyes tear (when they can - dry eye is so annoying sometimes) when I apply any other brand on my waterline...just attended a wedding and looked stunning all night thanks to this lasting from 5:30p - 3:30a on a humid NYC evening...sorry to those with poor experiences but again, this is SAFE and non irritating on the waterline - I'm in love

These work pretty well. You just have to have practice. They last awhile. Only thing I didn't like was the actual colors. They just didn't pop enough for me when they were on. I only bought one set though, so maybe I should try a different one?

Like all PF, the packaging looks cheap. But this is an exceptional long-wearing liner. I even apply to my waterline with a brush and it lasts longer than any other liner ive tried on my waterline, and doesnt irritate my eyes like MAC Fluidline does. I love all PF eyeliners for the reasons mentioned.

i bought this product at cvs, when it was on sale. i believe it was 40% off all PF products. So i bought the hazel eyes first, loved it, went back and bought 2 more, glam & perfect brown eyes. Cute packaging. Ive had it for about 5 months now, and for the most part it hasnt dried out at all. i dont care too much for the brush. hardly ever use the thing. but the actual product is amazing. the staying power on them is unbelievable. i never really have any problems with my gel/cream liners transferring because i dont have oily lids or mono lids ( even though i am asian lol ) but if it counts, it hasnt smudged or anything lol. It is a bit pricey, fortunately, i was able to catch them on sale. i love the product over all, i just wish they sold the little pots individually.

I bought this at Target on clearance just to try something new... pencils always seem like they tug too much. I don't remember what color eye I bought this for but the three colors are purple, brown and a black with purple shimmer. I like these eyeliners! They stay in place all day. The black seems like its drying out a bit faster... maybe the shimmer makes the product a little different? They glide on really easily but the lighter colors need a couple of swipes to stay. They wear well and are pretty easy to apply for beginners like me with the little brush (included). It seems like you get a lot for your money too. Now that I've had this for a while I might try buying a different, thinner brush to get a tighter line. Will buy again!

I was pleasantly surprised when I purchased this on clearance at Target for 4 bucks. I've been wanting to try it so I snatched it up. Physician's formula products has never been a big hit with me and has always ended up disappointing.
But I LOVE this stuff. I have super oily lids so cream liner is out of the question. But this liner I can apply without primer and it will not budge. I've taken a nap in this liner before (on accident of course), rolled around and rubbed my eyes, woke up and my eyeliner was still perfect. It's ridiculous. Definite repurchase.

I have dark brown eyes but bought the trio set for blue eyes and have been absolutely in love with these little pots ever since I got them. They are my first gel liners, but I have tried plenty of pencils and liquids - so far, this is among my favorite application methods.
The set comes with a relatively soft brown (I wish it were darker...), a black with blue flecks in it, and a brilliant blue which can be anywhere from sky to navy depending on how you blend it. There is also a brush included in the set, and although it's not the best, it isn't horrible either . I prefer using a fine angled brush, but the one provided would definitely do in a pinch.
The biggest advantage that these have for me is that they don't smudge into my crease. I have oily skin and pencils always end up mirroring onto my eyelids within a couple of hours, but these little guys have really stood up well - even after long and humid days, they hardly budge.
My only wish is that they were a tiny bit creamier so that they would be easier to apply, but that would probably make them less pigmented and easier to smudge, so I'm happy with the balance that PF has struck in these liners.

Bought these on a whim, when I was really looking for a liquid liner since mine was getting old (felt tip wasn't as precise). When i first used eyeliner, it was pencil and it smudged/transferred everywhere because of my single eyelids, stuck with liquid because it was like paint; once its on, its on...unless you tear up LOL then i tried MUFE cream/gel liners and was converted to that but it dried up so quickly, i could barely drag my brush over it. Super disappointed, thought i had found my HG. Gave up on that and went back to liquid for almost 2 years, until i bought these. These are so creamy, one time over the lid is enough (though i go over it to get a more precise line) so far it hasn't dried on me and i've had it for a month and a half. I only tried black so i can't comment on the other colors. the black has purple shimmers in it but it doesn't show up, which is fine with me. Overall its a great product and i would buy again!

This is the first Physicians formula product Ive ever bought. And im impressed! I love that you get 3 nice-sized gel liners for $15 (which is what i payed in canada). $5 each is not too shabby considering similiar gel liners from MAC and bobbi brown are at least $20 for one. given, these PF liners are not as smooth and creamy as higher end liners. BUT they give me a nice application and I dont have to go over it constantly to get it opaque. love it and would def recommend it for the value and quality

It is rare for me to be so blown away by a product, that I will make a special effort to come here to write a review. But this is exactly what has happened with this product.
This morning, I applied this eyeliner (brown, from the Trio for Brown Eyes, although I own all three Trios). That was at about 9 a.m. I proceeded to have my usual busy day, and then (12 hours later) I went to the gym and did a 45-minute run. I have just emerged from a long hot steamy bath.
The rest of my makeup is running down my cheeks. But the eyeliner literally has NOT BUDGED.
I am so impressed. As I said, I own all three Trios (nine little pots in total), and they are in my regular repertoire. Love this stuff. Recommended.
