This is one of those products that I didn't know I needed in my life until I bought it. I've never tried MAC lip liners before, and I'm pretty impressed with the formulation. It's creamy and super pigmented, so it doesn't take as many swipes as other pencils to show up on your lips. (I took off a lippie because it falls into my lip creases and emphasizes dry spots, but that's pretty normal lip liner behavior and isn't solely a MAC problem.)
The color is suuuuper useful because it erases your lip color and gives you a pale canvas to add lipstick on top. I'd say it's a very light, neutral-leaning-warm nude. It's quite similar to MAC Myth (lipstick). By itself, it's too light to look natural on my NC25 skin, but it looks AMAZING under nude or soft-colored lipsticks of any kind. It brings out the true color of any lipstick without making anything look garish or neon. The creasing problem is instantly gone once you add a lipstick on top, which is a relief because I do have very creasy lips.
I can see myself using this lip liner a lot to enhance my lipsticks! I'll probably never use it on its own though.

I naturally have dark pink lips, so it's really difficult to find a lipstick shade that I actually want and not have it change because of my natural pigment underneath. I bought this lipliner based on the reviews and I was not disappointed.
It's a really creamy formula that blends and has awesome pigmentation. I mainly use it so I get the true colour of my coloured lipsticks, but this can also work well with any nude lipsticks or lip gloss on top to compliment dramatic eye makeup. I usually apply this all over my lips, and then the actual lipliner that matches my lipstick, and then the lipstick. It's creamy enough that it doesn't over dry my lips either.
The price is a little steep, but it's well worth it, especially for the amount you get. Most of my drugstore lipliners are about half the size. I would definitely repurchase this again.

This is a great nude liner to have. It's a very pigmented, light nude color. It goes great with Myth, Creme De Nude, and any other similar nude lipsticks. It applies really really well, and lasts on the lips for a long time. MAC liners are my favorite (along with UD). I will repurchase!

This is probably my favorite make up thing I own! I have very very pigmented lips and this tones it down dramatically. Finally, lipsticks present as its true color (or lighter) when I wear them. I would wear pink lipsticks and they would look purple on me. With the naked lipliner, it will actually look pink. I will repurchase this product for the rest of my bright lipstick wearing days! Thank you to the MAC MUA who showed this to me. I had been searching for a method to tone my lips down for some time and I'm so glad she showed me the way!

I am a blue eyed NW10 (NW20 when tanning from a bottle).
this is a great "concealer" lips liner. Hard to find that kind of product, surprisingly. I have very pigmented lips, and this helps to block out some of the color. Very similar to the LE MAC lip liner in Saunter, which is slightly more salmon.

For true nude lippies, try this! I used to just use Subculture (which I still love), but now I like to mix them! I use Naked on my actual lip line, and Subculture just outside the natural lip line for the fullest pout. I like to do this combo with Honeylove (highlighted with Tanarama or Creme de Nude lipstick or Prrr lipglass).

This shade was made for nude lovers like me! Goes great with all my nude lipsticks and glosses. No complaints here!

Since I was getting bored w/Mac Oak, wanted to try a different lipliner w/all my fav nude mac lipsticks such as Myth, Creme D' Nude, Blankety, Hue, etc. This color washes me out, makes me look like I'm wearing a concealer on my lips.

Lovely and creamy soft product in a great neutral shade. I use it with my Mac Please Me lipstick, it is still visible because the colours dont match perfectly but if i very gently run a cotton bud around my lip line it blends the two colours together nicely. Quite expensive for a lip liner but Mac really do do the best colours and i'm sure the liner would match with many other pink and neutral shades within the Mac range aswell as other ranges.

This lip liner is perfect for toning pigmented lips down (like mine) and it's really creamy. I actually use it more on my waterline than on my lips because it makes my eyes look more awake and is less harsh than a white pencil.
