I like this. It's the EXACT colour of my lips when I'm healthy and well rested. I'm NC20 and it goes on like a neutral-warm pink.

The formula is a bit drying if I don't wear lip balm underneath.

It is quite opaque, and has some slightly golden shimmer in it. It looks very natural and pretty on the lips.

Will not repurchase as I'm not a fan of the Rouge Coco formula in general.

This is a gorgeous color. It's a light red that I use along or put a layer of Jemma Kidd's Hibiscus on it to make it brighter.

Lovely light red that you can use everyday. I prefer it for Fall Winter use. I love the idea of layering it with a really bright color over it.

I have most of Chanel's midtone pink Coco Rouge lipsticks, and this is one of my current favorites. Only buy it if cool undertones suit you - it is a bluish red and will look horrible on warm skins. I have very light highlighted blonde hair, a Nordic pale neutral /cool skintone, and light green-gray eyes. On me, this is a pretty almost-red that lightens my entire face. Cambon is too strong for me (tried it at the counter), but this is a perfect strong, sensuous, cool red for me. A real confindence builder.

I love Chanel lipproducts. I think they're insanely expensive, yet I keep coming back for more because they're amazing. I bought this colour because the saleswoman told me that this is the colour that was used in the add (yes, yes, I know, it is not the colour in the add, but at the time I was told that it was) and because it looked good on me in the store's lighting. While I like the lipstick formula (non-drying, lasts quite long on me), I am not a fan of the colour. I don't like the frost finish of this colour and I also feel that the colour is a bit old- ladyish and not very modern. I am wearing it quite a lot right now because I want to use it up, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I got hooked on Chanel lipsticks because of the wonderful texture and unique shades which make it worth the high price. Rouge Coco in Legende is not an exception. The shade was not something I would usually go for, but when I tested it in the counter, it really popped even while I wasn't wearing makeup. Legende is something you can wear alone and livens up the face. I'm a neutral-toned Asian with black hair so the pink shade (which has just the right hint of magenta to it) really stood out and did not scream cheap. I just love it!

The product formula is great. Moisturizing and amazing shine. The color was OK but it wasn't a good color for me: too frosty, too much magenta, too much sparkle and made me look cheap. The last thing you want from a Chanel lipstick.

In my opinion this shimmery violet pink suits blondes or people with blue or green eyes better. I have dark brown eyes and brown hair with caramel highlights and fair but warm toned skin (Chanel foundation in Clair) and I find that this shade is not "deep" enough and probably too violet and frosty for my present hair colour (if I was my usual dark brown hair colour it would look better). I like the fact that I can skip the lipliner with this shade.

Got a sample of this a few months ago from Neiman's, and I love it! It's a pretty pinky rose with no noticeable shimmer that enhances my NC-20, LLL skin. It would look great on many skin tones, I think. Plan to get a full tube after I use up my mini.

I have to start with this disclaimer: Personally I think spending for a top line lipstick is always a good investment IF it isn't something you can duplicate much cheaper.

Having said that, Chanel's Rouge Coco formula is FABULOUS and I love it in other colors... but in this particular shade, it doesn't wear as well for me.

A far bigger gripe though, is that the color lacks sophistication - it is a perfectly nice little mauvy pink affair with shimmer. Not as bad as the typical teen "I work at the local Dairy Queen" look, but not anything special or stunning, or remotely chic either. Hence, my 2 star review. There are many many better pinks in the brand to choose from. This one is neither classic nor trend-spot-on.

This is the best lipstick I've bought in years. I have somewhat dry, full, pigmented lips and this lippie feels light, it's not drying, and it's long lasting. I tried a sample first, so I was willing to pay up for it. this is a sexy pink and when lined with Carmine liner and dabbed with a little gloss on center of lower lip looks pretty hot. (keeping other makeup light) it shows off my lips just enough, and I feel pretty and polished
when wearing it. I feel I'm getting a bit older to carry the the 'gloss' only look, and I am so over the maintainance of reapplying gloss. This is lipstick reinvented! highly recommended.

If you already own a million MLBB lipsticks, this shade may not impress you at first glance - you may just pass it off as another sparkly muted pink with a hefty price tag. But I urge anyone with cool or neutral undertones looking to buy a day-appropriate RC to try Legende, because it's more than meets the eye. Once applied, it's a complex but calm rose shade with a gorgeous, subtle sheen and a wonderful cream texture. You just can't get this kind of dimension in a drugstore or even mid-range pink lipstick.

I've also tried Orchidee and Organdi Rose but found that the brown and coral tones overwhelmed my face, whereas Legende complements and brightens it. I think on me this lipstick looks similar to Mademoiselle on Vanessa and I would definitely encourage cool, pale girls (I'm NW15) to try this one AND Mademoiselle before buying either.

UPDATE: I now have four RCs including Mademoiselle and I still reach for this one the most. It's just so perfect for day yet adds that little bit of glamour that makes me feel polished.

This is a really unusual colour. I'm never the sort to go for a mauve-y shimmery colour, but this is fantastic! A great alternative for me (I tend to like bright red colours or nudes... anything in between is kind of meh! (or used to be!!)) for work, that transitions great into night time.

The texture of the lip colour is great - creamy and hydrating, light and incredibly pigmented.

okie, i gt this color as my SA at the counter told me this is the color vanessa was wearing -_-". but nonetheless, i do like it! its a light rose color, which is gd for daily wear w/o making one look old. I luv to pair it with mystic eye shadow. thou the price can be a little pricey, im a digger for Chanel lippy, and im def repurchasing this.

This color actually works the best for me of any Rouge Coco color I've tried. Too bad a previous reviewer thinks it has an "old lady" look -- hmmm! It's a slightly shimmery balanced pink of exactly the right depth and intensity, and improves my face look instantly. The reason I didn't give it a 5 is that it doesn't last very well, and the reason I wouldn't purchase it again is that really, the color is pretty generic and you could get one about like it in Revlon.

I got this as a sample from the Chanel counter. It is a pink/mauve with cool undertones. There is a very subtle shine to it. This color definitely brightens my complexion, yet gives me a MLBB look. The cool undertones are complimentary to my tan, Asian skin. Then again, I had just finished running, so it may be the natural flush of my skin and the color of the lipstick working well together.
The Rouge Cocos are creamy in texture and long lasting. I just finished eating some grilled meat, and the lipstick is still there, looking amazing!!
When I use up this sample, I am definitely buying Legende.

Overall: Rouge Coco in Legende is a good lipstick. It is not a great lipstick.

My favorite lipstick shades are bright and cool-toned. I like having a few softer shades to wear now and then, but never anything warm. I got excited after hearing Legende described as a violet-pink. I have a soft spot for purple and purplish lipstick.

Overall, the Rouge Coco line seems to pull really warm. I bought Legende because as far as I could tell, it was the brightest shade that wasn't warm or red.

Well, on me, this is more like a flattering, soft rosy color. It's not bright at all. The good thing about this is that normally, rosy colors turn orangey brown on me, so I don't have a lipstick quite like this. But, while this is a very wearable shade (I have pale skin with cool undertones and dark hair) it's just not interesting or fun, and I wouldn't want to spend $30 to repurchase it.

Legende is beautiful when swatched on the hand, and stunning in its tube - but I've yet to come across a Rouge Coco I've not loved in its tube. That's where the love ends for me, though; Legende turns to a slightly frosted pink with a the very slightest touch of lavender (blame my lips for turning a gorgeous color into something Magda from There's Something About Mary would have worn - Miami Barbie retiree, anyone?)

Texture's a winner here, though, and so is lasting power. This lasts through nearly three meals, numerous glasses of water and a couple of coffees. $38 CDN - it's a price I would gladly pay again for another Rouge Coco, but this particular shade is a regret for me.

I bought this lipstick yesterday and was so excited to put it on this morning (at 7:30 AM) It's now 11:30 AM and after 3 cups of coffee (yes, I'm an addict) I still have lipstick on! Chanel rocks!

Based on online color descriptions and comments, I thought this was going to be a winner. I hate the color on my lips. Too me it is a very "old lady" frosted rose shade. Not what I was hoping for at all. Also it is too warm. I Ilike the formula and staying power, just not the shade for me and at this price I am hesitant to try other colors.
