After reading reviews online I decided to bite the bullet and go ahead with buying Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. I am in love with the bourjois blushers so expected good delivery.
The serum remindes me a lot of a BB cream, the texture is fine, provides a thin medium coverage and seems to brighten my whole complexion.
I love the fruity smell but this may be off putting for some. I actually use this foundation on my legs when heading off for a night out because it makes them look so flawless, even and soft (sounds strange, but try it!!)
It was quite pricy in Australia ($30) and after previously living in the UK i know it is a lot cheaper there so was a bit peeved.

All in all this is a great product and is now one of my make up bag staples!!

Excellent foundation! One of the best I've ever tried. Light texture/feel and medium coverage (buildable to heavy medium), which is my ideal king of foundation. Very blendable. Dries quickly to a satin natural matte finish. Does not oxidize, lasts around 6-7 hours on me, holds the oil in my t-zone pretty well, smells deliciously fruity and gentle (the smells disappears in a couple of minutes). Shade 54 is a perfect match for my NC30-35 skin (the closest match I ever got in a foundation).
I love the package. It comes with a pump and we can see how much product is left. Also, there is no waste of product, since the bottom comes up as you use it.
There's something special about this foundation, something more, that I cannot finger point exactly. It leaves my complexion looking radiant, fresh, healthy (hence the name, duh). It's the foundation I would recommend to anyone, any skin type, any age.
I'm definitely repurchasing it.
The only one little "con" I can find in this product (not enough of a con to take a lippy off) is it can look a little bit heavier if you have dry areas in your face, which I sometimes do. That's why next time, I might try the new formulation that is said to be a little bit more hydrating.

My favourite foundation I have ever tried! Perfect for my extremely pale skin and covers all my acne scars and stays on all day without needing much powder. The price is definately higher than other "drugstore" foundations but it is 100% worth the money. I'll be repurchasing this forever

This product is certainly not for those who have extremly sensitive skin. one with rosacea should steer clear from this product coz it will make it worse.
It does give nice dewy look but hen you are at the risk.

I'm not going to rave about this foundation like a lot of other reviewers here. It has its pros and cons but let me just first say that I have combination oily acne-prone skin that needs a lot of coverage and this is not the foundation for it. My skin is more oily when I use this as opposed to when I don't use it so I think it's better for dry to normal skin types and for someone who doesn't need a lot of coverage. However, there's a lot I like about this. It has a very nice scent, feels really fresh and light when you apply it and it leaves your skin looking dewy and healthy. It blends very easily and doesn't break me out which is awesome. Not sure how long it lasts because I always set it with a powder, definetely not 16 hours as it claims on the bottle but for 6-7 hours for sure. I bought the shade 53 which turned out to be to dark for my skin tone but that's not Bourjois fault. So just to sum up let me list the pros and cons:

PROS:
-feels very light and fresh on the skin
-blends easily
-leaves your skin looking dewy and healthy
-smells amazing
-light but buildable coverage
-good packacing, very practical pump bottle (the cap gets a bit dirty but I don't mind that)
-lasts for a good amount of time with a powder on top
-doesn't break me out

CONS:
-not the best foundation for combination to oily skin types
-doesn't provide enough coverage if you have acne/acne marks
-slightly expensive

Overall, this is a good foundazion for someone who is looking for a light to medium coverage with a dewy finish and for someone who has dry to normal skin type. If your skin type is combination/oily/acne-prone and you need heavy coverage, stay away from this.

This is a great foundation. It has quite a scent to it when you apply it, and it's a nice scent but it certainly like 'oh hello there fruity tango.' The colour is a tiny bit yellow but it is quite nice as it counteracts my redness nicely rather than being too yellow. It has quite good staying power and if you can get it on sale is one of the best affordable foundations around... Or one of the best foundations around generally! I am going to try the serum version now that I have used up a bottle. I am very pale and shade 51 works pretty well for me with a bit of blending. Definitely recommended.

Wow. I've tried so many foundations and this bests them all hands down. Most foundations either highlight dry flaky bits (GA Maestro), leave me greasy (YSL TE), are too yellow (NARS tinted moisturiser), don't last (Rimmel, Stay Matt) I could go on and on....I'm between a NC 20 and 25 and 53 is a perfect match. Goes on smooth, covers imperfections, not too heavy, looks natural, good lasting power. I'm never using high end foundations again.

I have the Serum version also, for my combo skin, but the color of it is too yellow and it really gets oily on my t-zone. This one is much better, and it treats my horrible dry nose spots wonderfully and doesn´t make them even drier, like most other foundations do (just for that it gets a five). The color really blends well into the skin, and it´s a little too dark for winter me so it´ll be good for the summer. Coverage is great, I don´t like too much coverage and it´s about medium but buildable. The finish is a little dewy but not so much that I have to powder my face afterwards like with the serum.

Wonderful smell and overall great product, it slides on and spreads really well and stays on all day (around 9 hours for me).

This is lovely. Really good coverage, but still natural, sheer and blendable. It gives a bit of a dewy finish but not too much shine. I've tried a couple of the others in the range, but think I'll go back to this one, once I've finished the serum version.

I always used Mac NC15 foundations as my no. 1s, but during the last year my studenthood started being a bit harsh on my wallet so I decided to explore the waters of half as pricey Bourjois foundations.

Healthy Mix is currently my top used one - their lightest shade is perfect for my pale skin tone, giving it enough healthy colour but not a heavy coverage. It's easy to put on, not too streaky even when I am in a rush, and usually stays looking good most of the day. I am not used to re-applying my foundation during the day and this one gives me the luxury of not having to start with it.

It has a nice dewy finish, which makes me think I might need to switch to a more matte one this summer, also it's probably not a good choice for people with oily skin. Mine is combination and during the cooler months (which, here in Scotland, is most of them) this baby works perfectly. Also it doesn't leave my drier parts of face flakey, it feels quite good for the skin.

i have got 53 (i use nc20), matches me good, its light in texture and last a few hours, it does not have SPF in it so i use it during night out (when Im not using MUFE), if i need to use it in the morning, i will apply sunscreen first then healthy mix. its an affordable good quality foundation. lasting power could be improve by using a primer.

I've bee using Mac NC25 for years. When the prices went up I decided to try a different bourjois because of the price and the reviews.
I bought shade 53, its not as yellowy as I'd prefer as I have oriental skin. However its defiantly a good close match. It feels light on my skin, and it is a subtle dewy effect, medium coverage. It lasts a little around 5/6 hours for me without powder (but I do have a oily t-zone), where as I got a few more hours with Studio fix.
Personally I think the apricot smell is pleasant and at £10 I will buy again and don't see the need to try other brands.
My only downfall is that because its a lighter coverage I go back to my Mac Studio fix for a night out.

This is an amazing foundation! This would have to be the nicest texture and foundation I've tried. It applies beautifully and never looks cakey or thickly layered any excess wipes off. Smells of berries and leaves skin moisturised. For oily skinned people i would recommend powder over the top as it can be a bit shiny. I am shade 51 and will definitely be buying again!

Hands down this is my HG foundation!!! I apply it with my beauty blender or mac 188 and I absolutely love this!! plus my dry skin adores it! First of all this does not dry out my skin which is rare because almost any foundation I try just sits on my dry patches.... (chanel vitalumiere aqua, vichy aera teint, armani maestro). So... the coverage is medium-light and the finish of this is a kind of dewy but not greasy.... It just looks like your skin in a better more radiant version... I use the shade 51 and it matches perfectly..(i'm nc15). But except the nice coverage, finish and color match of this product... the thing I love the most.. Is that when I remove my makeup.. it makes my skin look better... glowy and kind of moisturized. I don't know how this is happening with a foundation... Maybe you'll think that I'm stupid or something... but it's really happening! Maybe the fruits this product contains... work well with my dry-sensitive skin. Thank you Bourjois!

My Holy Grail Foundation.
For reference I am MAC NC15 and I wear shade 51. My skin is normal/dry on cheeks, oily t-zone, with some acne and eczema.
To me, this is the perfect medium-coverage, satin finish foundation.
It does need to be powdered/primed on oily areas but it wears pretty well to me. The fragrance has never been a problem on my skin (and I really like the scent).
I get countless compliments on my skin when I wear this foundation and I've repurchased about 4 times already. I'll always come back to it.

UPDATE:
Really like this foundation! Found out that it wasnt actually the foundation but rather the moisturiser I was using underneath it. The coverage is light-medium buildable depending on how much you put on. Personally, I use about 2 pumps , but sometimes 1 if I want to spot conceal/focus on spots. I found that the staying power is pretty poor, even with setting powder, but it does help. Keep in mind that I do not use a primer under this at all, just QV lotion or cetaphil moisturiser depending on my mood.

I even asked my mum if she could tell I was wearing foundation and she said NO! What a pleasant surprise! Most of my foundations she could clearly tell.

Overall, great product.

*For reference, I wear shade 54 which is a tad but dark but due to the blendability, it isnt too stark against my chest.

love love love this foundation
i cant belive how smooth and perfect this foundation is it is my HG product, althought it is sightly dark for my pale skin but i mix it sometimes with white foundation ( not mixing i layer them if you know what i mean:))
i can not talk enough about this foundation as now i am afraid that this will b discontinued, i was at boots the other day and i saw a new version of it and the sales lady told me that they will discontinued it ,i really dont know what will i do then :( plzzzzz bourjois dont do this :'(

This product is AMAZING! I love the healthy looks it gives, it's so natural. I'm on my 7th bottle already and its the only foundation i use. For the day i mix it with the clarins beauty balm for a much lighter look. I think this foundation is better for dry-combination skin. It gives a medium coverage but it definetly gives you the natural look.

It's an amazing product. I have oily acne prone skin for reference...

It's very easy to blend, with every tool. I prefer my expert face brush from real techniques.

Gives really decent coverage, probably medium, if you build it, but it can also be light, depending on how much you apply.

It doesn't feel heavy, it feels very smooth on the skin, and it really looks like a second skin...so it's perfect for everyday use.

It gives a natural glow to the face, without any shimmer but doesn't feel greasy.

I don't like it for times when my skin it's more oily, because it really gets oily after a few hours. Also, it doesn't last that much.

But i definitely recomend this for normal to combination skin, it's just really nice. One of the best foundations on the drugstore. ^^
