Loved this foundation, It stayed on my face all day, loved the texture and provided me with full coverage. It is abit on the expensive side but fully worth it. Unfortunately it has been discontinued in New Zealand.

i used to buy this product for about a year, i loved it at first but it dosen't hide all my acne scars and it flakes a lot around my nose and chin , at the end of the day it makes my face look uneven , i wouldn't recommend it

I was using this foundation daily for a few months- but then started to notice how my skin seemed to get more and more messy (blemishes, clogged pores etc.) So needless to say, I stopped using this product and went back to my old mineral powder.
I really liked this foundation by L-Oreal as it goes on so smoothly and covers very well- but sadly it seems like it just doesn't work with my skin type.
UPDATE: I decided to give this product another try... the result was the same; it seems to clog my pores badly.

For the last few years I have been buying Loreal Infallible foundation, and liked it due to its great coverage. However I started getting fed up of the constant need to reapply powder so started to search for a foundation specifically to keep me matte all day. I wasn't sure if my skin was just too oily and therefore required powdering a lot (every hour I would get shiny) or whether I was using the wrong product.
Anyway I chance bought this product and am absolutely overwhelmed at how matte it keeps my skin! I only need to slightly powder my nose once through a long day at work, my skin looks so much fresher. The only criticism is that your have to apply it very sparingly and unlike before I now apply it with my fingers and not a brush. The coverage is pretty good but I already use my Mac concealer over blemishes.
Definitely worth buying if you have oily skin!

I have been using Matte Morphose for around 3 years now. I was first introduced to this product by a close friend who received a free sample and just raved about the quality!
I have combination skin, and the trouble with mine is that make up just DOES NOT stay on my skin - so I gave this a go!
Its about £10 at boots the last time I bought it which I think is quite reasonable!
I admit its not the best foundation, but this is the one I always go back to, I find it quite a safe product to use.
Advantages: It slides on your skin so easily as its a light air-whipped texture which is what makes it very smooth. The actual product lasts ages, you dont need that much on your skin so it can last for months! It has a good colour selection, at first I didnt get the right colour - so you do have to play around a bit, but once you do ... its perfect colouring.
Disadvantages: It DOES NOT last long at all! I really wanted a foundation to last all day as I'm at college & dont want to re-apply all the time. If you have oily skin or combination then I do not recommend this product if your looking for a long lasting one, I have to keep putting it on my face about 3 times a day -- and each time I re- apply, it cakes up. :-/
Hope I helped. x

I first used this foundation when I recieved a sample of it in a magazine last year and I fell in love with it. It was so soft and so flawless, but I was such a devotee of MAC Studio Finish that I didn't bother purchasing until last month.
And it was awful. For a matte foundation, this consistency is so repulsively oily and it broke out my skin within mere hours of applying it. I thought perhaps it was just my skin adjusting to gave it a few weeks but my skin only got worse. It slips off very quickly if you have oily skin and looks hideous if you set it with powder so you can't win.
All in all a real disappointment and I won't be buying this again.

Meh...didn't like this one. I know I should probably give up on trying to make mousse/souffle makeups work for me but I keep on testing out new ones hoping for a perfect smooth matte look. But every time I find mousses streaky, messy and hard to blend and L'Oreal's was no exception. It dried too quickly and just didn't blend properly, there is no other way to put it. I liked L'Oreal's better than Estee Lauder's though, L'Oreal's at least didn't give me any skin problems and didn't age me 10-20 years like EL's did! Definitely not my favorite and won't repurchase, but of the mousses (which, again, might just not be for me) it's not the worst.

My best friend bought this when we were on vacation together. One day I asked her to try it and I really liked it. The texture of the foundation is really light and applies well on my face. That was 2 years ago. I tried it again a few weeks ago and hated it ! It doesn't have a lot of coverage and is really really matte. It makes my face look dead. Hate it ! Plus, it's really expensive for a drugstore foundation. Don't buy it ! Use your money for better foundations like Revlon's Colorstay. :)

This foundation is AMAZING for people with oily skin. It gives an powder finish, reducing the shine on your face. The only thing I don't like about this foundation is how it works on my dry spots beacuse it makes my skin flaky and makes it look cakey. But since my face ismostly oily, this foundation works wonders for me. I think it has great coverage and I would definitely buy this again

I love this stuff! a little goes a long way and it has pretty good coverage. I use it under L'Oreal bare naturale mineral powder which is currently my favourite foundation combination ever. Will definitely be buying this again.

wow there are so many reviews of this product under different product names...random..anyways i dont know why anybody with dry skin would try this out as i thought they would know better as to stay away from anything thats got 'matte' in the name? regardless, i picked up two tubs of this at a clearance price from smith&caughey when they were having their sale (so yeah $16 for a tub instead of the normal $42, a bargain and a rip-off at the same time..). i got mine in golden honey (or something like that) and the shade matches me well. i like the moussey texture as it feels light. i apply it with my fingers and then blend it in with a dense brush. my skin is super oily but doesnt need much coverage at all so this is pretty good for my needs. i wore it to a party and was worried about looking greasy however after quite a few hours when i tried to blot there was not much oil at all. the photos from the night turned out to look awesome as my skin didnt get super shiney but rather a luminoius finish. so the foundation lasts well and keeps you matte for a bit. i dont mind the light coverage as i dont need much anyways and i dont mind that it doesnt have an spf as i dont wear foundation in the day time (i only wear it at night when i go out)...pretty good product!

First I wasn't sure about this product, because it has a really funny texture, but once you apply it (with fingers anything else works with this) its texture is lovely. Amonst inmediatly you feel the oil control properties and it has a similar finish to the Benefit Porefessional Primer. It helped my pores (they are not huge but slightly visible in the sides of my nose) and once it set (like 10 minutes) the look is really natural and works all day. For the colour I am between 115 and 140 so I mix them (I'm an NW20). I really like this product and defenitely a must have for combination - oily skin / sensitive skin.

If you haveanything to hide, go for this sublime and superior makeup. You'll get an instant porcelain doll look. Fantastic. Also, I find the shades tend to blend perfectly well with different skin tones so you don't have to worry about getting the perfect tone for your skin cause more that one will work for you.

I used this product quite a few times but then realised that it was awfull! I really don't like this product. It doesn't stay on your face for anymore than 2-3 hours at the most, even with a primer. It gives very light coverage, almost as if it isn't there. I know some people like that however I don't. I also have dry skin on my cheeks and it flakes and shows up my dry skin really badly.

Have almost finished my first jar of Rose/Sand and I love it. I received a sample and after using Estee Lauder Futurist for years I think Matt Morphose beats it by a mile. I made the mistake initially by applying too much, the key is to use it sparingly otherwise it looks cakey and it isn't great if you have dry flaking skin. The coverage is quite light so I use concealer on a couple of pesky broken capillaries first. I get so many compliments about my skin, I'm thrilled.

Its not that good, it gives me cakey skin and I do not like it exactly. I went to the store because I need a new foundation, and I just do not like it at all! I wasted my money, would rather go to sephora and spend more dollars on a way better product! Do not buy!!!

This is AWFUL! It does the exact opposite to what promises to do? It sits in every pore or line and makes it appear worse and cakey. It really does not give a matte finish at all, instead it sits on top of the skin and looks powdery and makes your skin look saggy. I was so dissapointed, ive tried many different application techniques and skin prep routines and still gets worse and worse. I would warn all women to not get this.

I used this foundation for 8 weeks. The shade I used was the lightest, #110 Rose Ivory which was a bit too pink for my NW15 skin.
Application - It smells like paint thinner in the jar but this dissipates quickly. I tried using a brush or sponge but found that it applied best with my fingers. I have tried this by itself, over moisturiser and over primer but it's so full of silicones I don't think it would matter what you put it over. I needed quite a small amount and estimate that the jar would last me 3-4 months of daily wear but I still don't consider this to be good value due to the overall quality of the product. It felt very soft to apply, thanks I'm sure to those silicones. I would call this light-medium but not particularly buildable coverage. I don't have any blemishes and really am just looking for my foundation to even my skin tone, so this product managed to do that. I found I couldn't apply it under my eyes as it settled into and accentuated the few fine lines I have starting to form.
Wear - I have slightly dry skin, particularly T zone, but found that I needed to blot all over after about 4 hours wear, which is a bit unusual for me. I found this quite comfortable to wear - no tightness. The foundation seemed to break up/go cakey after 2-3 hours, particularly where my skin was drier. I prefer a more skin-like appearance to my makeup, and this seemed to sit on my skin and it was obvious I was wearing makeup. It definitely didn't last 12 hours as claimed and looked more obvious as it wore off.
Packaging - I really don't like the packaging. I understand that a mousse foundation is basically solid and needs to be in some sort of jar, so it's going to be unhygienic, but this jar has corners under the lip, so getting the product out as it gets used up will be difficult and messy. And I'm really only interested in a mousse in the hopes that it will be cleaner to use than a liquid or powder, so that's not good. A rounded, rather than square, shaped jar would do a better job.
Overall I don't think this product lives up to its claims of 12 hour luminous matte finish and smoother pores and wrinkles. I have a few fine lines and didn't notice any improvement in their appearance, nor did I notice any luminosity worth speaking of. It didn't last 12 hours, it didn't stay matte.
