I just used this after a facial and I quite like it. It's very soothing and completely soaks in immediately, and it leaves my skin hydrated and smooth but not greasy or sticky at all. It's very good. It has a citrusy scent and a little goes a long way. I would recommend this to others and would purchase it again!

LOVE THIS! My skin reacts very easily to most products and i breakout horribly, but this doesn't break me out at all!
It doesn't feel greasy on my skin even though i use the regular and not the oil free version.
it sinks right into my skin and leaves my skin moisturised all night. Love it.

I'm a drugstore kinda gal for most of my skincare. I was searching for a better moisturizer for winter months to really hydrate my skin, as well as provide anti aging benefits as I am 27 now, and figure better start preventing now. Love the smell of this project and the moisture. It doesn't seem to aggravate my skin (I have oily, acne prone skin with hormonal breakouts). Wish it was cheaper but it was a splurge item and I feel it was worth it.

A while back, I purchased the Starting Over Eye Cream and I'm very pleased with that product. I've been searching for a less costly night cream to use in place of my Clarins Super Restorative. It's a nice cream, to be sure, but it's not "nice enough" to justify the ridiculous price tag. So I began my search and decided to give the Starting Over moisturizer a try. I have to say I am reasonably pleased with this product, though it is not as richly moisturizing as I had hoped it would be. It is wintertime where I live and the cold weather combined with indoor heating means I need something a bit heavier duty than this cream, though I think it will actually be perfect in spring and fall. For now, I'll probably use it in combination with one of my Clarins facial oils. I think they make this in a lighter, "oil free" version but I was very careful not to get that one but still, this could be a bit more rich and moisturizing.
As I purchased this with my Shoppers Drug Mart points, the price was great too (as in "free" - can't get much better than that) but even at regular price, this cream is a far less costly option compared with Clarins.

Origins moisturizers are the best! I love this one and the nightamins one. This is very moisturizing, perfect for my dry skin. I am 22, so I can't discuss the effects on aging that it has, but it's a great moisturizer and a little goes a long way so it's economical!

I have acne-prone skin and had no problems with the oil-free version breaking me out. The smell did not bother me. I wish it was in a squeeeze tube rather than jar though. I recommend this product but personally will be sticking with Origins VitaZing because I prefer the slight tint.

I really liked this cream! I can't say I saw any anti-aging effects from it, but I would wake up in the morning and my skin had the most amazing glow. And this is with me only using it as a day moisturizer! It even mixed well with foundation to make a nice tinted moisturizer. The only thing I didn't like about it was that there was no SPF. I took off one lippie for that. But if an Origins counter was around and I needed moisturizer, I would definitely get this again.

I received a free full-size sample from Sephora, and initially didn’t like its horribly strong orangey smell and put it away. I recently started using it again while contemplating my next skincare purchase.
After two weeks straight of using just this product, my skin looks visibly better. My skin feels firmer and the skin tone is even out nicely. It has very nice texture and absorbs very quickly into the skin. I always have clear skin, but it now got much better to the point that it looks like I’m wearing foundation/BB cream without wearing one :)
I still can’t stand the smell, but put up with it because the product itself is great. I am also not sure whether it will be moisturizing enough in the winter. I may have to add another moisturizer into my routine if I am going to use this product in the winter.
Overall, I am very satisfied with it, and will re-purchase.

A bit greasy but does the job of keeping my skin hydrated. It wasn't the luxurious treatment that I was looking for but it was an ok buy for me. If I don't find something better I would stick with this. It's that type of thing.

I love this. It is a great moisturizer for both day and night. I use it on my under eyes and entire face at night, and under my makeup during the day. It smells amazing. Obviously you get what you pay for, but for my age and what I was looking for, this is great. If you are looking for something more clinical, I'd suggest shelling out more money for a different product. My skin feels so moist and healthy after using this which is what I was looking for and expecting.

What attracted me the most about this product was the smell. It was like smelling morning sunshine in a jar. So bright, citrus-y and lemongrass like, I couldn't wait to try it on my skin.
The texture of this little number is delightful. It really feels like a nice moisturizer when I put it on my face. I wasn't looking for an anti-aging cream, however this product is oil free and has many benefits to it as well.
Over time I could see that my skin was becoming more hydrated and happy, however due to the occasional breakout I had to alternate between a few other moisturizers. Great for all times of the year, and I do believe that I would buy this product again.

LOVE this moisturizer! It feels soooo hydrating and luxurious, it literally feels like I'm feeding my skin. It makes my face look so dewy and plump after I use it. Also I LOVE the smell. Though it is quite expensive, and the packaging isn't the most sanitary I completely adore this product. I know it's meant for mature skin... but I couldn't help myself, nothing wrong with starting the anti-aging early hm?

An effective, basic moisturizer. Has a very pleasant scent of lemon myrtle and orange flower. This has a long list of ingredients but I am strongly doubting that there is enough of an active percentage of anti-aging ingredients to do anything beneficial to skin.

I was made aware of the Earth Day special this past Sunday with Origins. Take in a used cosmetic container and they gave you your choice of a free, full-size moisturizer. I got the Starting Over (with Mimosa). When I got home, I also realized that I would like to try their BB Cream, so, I ordered it online and am currently awaiting it's arrival, along with ... ANOTHER container of a free, full-size moisturizer and I picked the one for the daytime with a 25 SPF (will write about that later).
So, first of all, one of the things I liked right away was that it was in a tube. So many creamy moisturizers come in jars and even though only my clean fingers are going into that jar, I have really never liked that idea. Second, I tried a little teeny bit on my hand and could feel and see the moisturizer.
I washed my face last night and put this stuff on. I was a little worried about the citrus fragrance (not my favorite scent) and bitter orange being a first-listed ingredient. No stinging upon application. Woke up this morning, no redness or irritation plus, my nose looked a little oily. Not a problem! Also, my forehead, which usually feels a little rough, felt smooth. I really like this stuff. I'll have to go to the Origins site to find out how much it is when you actually have to BUY it but it really seems nice on my skin.
It comes in a tube and truly moisturizes my skin with no irritation. What's not to like?

I only use this product at night because I use a TM with SPF during the day.
Cream is not greasy feeling at all and absorbs into my combination skin rather well.
Skin does feel softer and smoother after application.
When I wake up in the morning, skin feels oily, but does not appear oily, so this product does not completely balance my combination skin, but it doesn't completely freak it out either.
If I do not exfoliate regularly, I experience minor break outs, probably due to the increased skin cell turnover advertised by this product.
I don't like the smell of this product, but the odor is not heinous.
Would not mind buying again, but there are so many products out there that I'd like to try.

I loved the scent of this one- bright and citrusy, it seemed like it could quickly becoming a favorite of mine, as the texture was similarly nice and creamy without being too thick. But alas.... Origins products haven't impressed me in years. For one, their cageyness about disclosing ingredients is a turnoff and makes me feel like they're "greenwashing" (pretending to be safe and non-toxic).
In this case, it didn't matter because this cream immediately caused my skin to erupt in dry patches as well as little white bumps around the chin area. I'm not someone who tends to have sensitive reactions to products; I'd actually think of my skin as dry, but pretty sturdy and capable of taking almost any weird combination of ingredients that I put on it.
On top of the weird reaction, I wasn't impressed with how my skin looked when I woke up. After a couple of weeks I randomly went back to my Derma E peptides plus wrinkle reverse cream (cheap on vitacost and amazon!) and my skin looked much more smooth and matte. This was enough for me to decide that finishing the rest of this pot just wasn't worth it.

I have combination skin with dry cheeks. This worked to keep my skin moisturized at work (arctic cold airconditioning) The texture is medium, not too thick, alittle oily but it absorbs into my skin after a short while. I actually prefer medium textures like this as they work well for my dry skin.
The scent is fresh and citrusy, really nice and refreshing. The only thing i did not like about this is the container. I would prefer a squeeze tube or pump, highly dislike jars where you dip your fingers in and is transparent. Does not protect the product from light. Eeks.

Love love love this product. I have very sensitive skin...I recently tried new products and started breaking out, a lot! Just ordered this again from Sephora. I will never stray again. Absorbs nicely, not oily with my skin. In the winter I have extremely dry skin and have to use Dr Weil at night. Again, I will never stray again!

I really really dislike this stuff! Yuck! It's sooo greasy!!!! Gross! It irked me everyday that I used it but I wanted to use it up since it wasn't a cheap purchase... which irked me even more!!....
I finally finished it up and I will be going back to Chanel Ultra Correction Line Repair.., I don't like to shell out over 100+ dollars for skincare.. but I'm 38 years old... so I need something that works and doesn't feel horrible on my skin. Actually, I think Orgins is more expensive than Chanel in the long run because it didn't last as long...also, I realize I prefer the pump than using jars like this...Chanel comes in a pump. Also, I thought the Mimosa scent of Orgins was ok, a little strong and synthetic though....While on the other hand Chanel has a very pleasant light rose scent and it glides on very smooth while sinking into the skin and making it noticeably softer and fine lines less apparent. Chanel I miss you and... will purchase you again asap!

I got a delux sample of this with an order, and it's breakout city for me. Did not do well with this one.
