This is such a good eyeshadow primer for when you want your eyeshadow colors to pop more.
This is amazing on medium to dark skintones where eyeshadow doesn't show up as much as it would on fair skintones.
Great product.

This works just as great as the orginal UDPP, and can also be used to really conceal any eyelid darkness or redness on light skintones. Totally matte, I like using this primer to tone down very shimmery shadows or when I'm going for a totally matte look.

I like how it feels on my eyelids very smooth, silky, and doesn't tug like how some primer in pots can be. It's a perfect shade and coverage for me (I'm NC 15/20). It's a little yellow based and I have some redness on my lid area and it tones down it down nicely. I like this 'Eden' version more then the 'Original' but I wouldn't mind either. This product lasts a very long time, I have the deluxe size from a set of 4 I purchased off HauteLook almost a year ago and it's lasted til now (I wear eyeshadow occasionally).

Great product. I have the tube version of this rather than the wanded potion bottle. This is great at doubling up as a concealer and I find its awesome for contouring. This works a lot better on bold matte colours rather than things like the naked palette. I will repurchase this one :)

Sad to say it doesnt work for me.
I must admit that the staying powder for eyemake up has improved alot but I got sensitive eyes I got eye lid infection after using it and took a while to recover :(

This product is worth every penny. Slap it on under any neutral eyeshadow, and it not only enhances the color, and it isn't going to budge. This is a beauty must for me!

When I first bought this product, i thought it didn't work because my eyeshadow would crease AALLL the time even with this primer. But acouple days ago, I put a little bit more primer on my lids than usual with UDPP. And it lasted all day. Then I realized that I wasn't putting enough product on, hence the reason as to why my eyeshadow was still creasing. Lol! HOPE THIS HELPED!! (:

This works just like the original UDPP, which I love. I like to use this under shadows that have a difficult or powdery texture because this makes them easier to blend and makes them more vibrant since it is a neutral colored primer. My only gripe with this is that it does not last as long, I have very oily lids and I use this as a second primer over UDPP (yes, my lids are that oily!), this makes my shadows crease after the normal 8 hour wear time, I have long days, LOL.

I heard a lot of people raving about this product so I decided to give it a go. What a waste, this separates and I'm left with a yellow liquid which creases on me after a couple of hours and it makes my eye shadow disappear If I don't use enough product.
Won't be buying this for sure.

I use the Eden shade as an eyeshadow primer when wearing eyeshadow, but I use it almost daily as an under eye concealer beneath my mineral powder foundation. It really helps keep my foundation from rubbing off underneath my eyes during the day.
I just try to make sure I use just a very small amount for a thin application. Otherwise, it can make the area around my eyes look too white and bright compared to the rest of my face.
But it works great! I love it!

Okay, everybody knows UDPP is fantastic. I have very little to add, except:
The matte texture of this primer allows it to work double duty as a concealer and matte highlighter. I dab it on dark circles and along the bow of my upper lip, and the opacity of it and dry texture work, for me, even better than the driest concealers.
I also think Eden wears longer than the original formula, which is a teensy bit more slippery. Slipperier?

Aside from my Original UDPP, I am not sure which one I love more. Eden is creamier and lays down a base similar to MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot. I use it as a base for my eyebrows before drawing them on, and all over my eyelid. I've gone through 3 mini tubes, 1 regular size tube, and about to start my 2nd reg size tube. On me, it lasts ALL day. Even my brows don't get oily. The packaging is awesome, much prefer the squeeze tubes over the genie bottles, although, I do have 1 genie bottle I "refill" with my full size tube, so I can keep it in my makeup bag. I don't know WHY UD hasn't turned this primer into a face primer, minus the color. I would buy it in bulk! I can see how the price would seem like too much to some, but for me, this is average compared to the other beauty products I buy. Def a splurge, but I have yet to find a drugstore item that can outperform this.

I got this at Nordstrom Rack for $10, quite a steal if you ask me. I heard good things about primer potions, so i figured that this "doe eyed potion" would be worth it. Firt off, this is more for someone with veiny or greasy eyelids. I have neither, so this potion gives me a block out of pale color on my tan eyelids. Awkward. This is a very good primer though, sometimes i won't put color over it and just wear it with some eyeliner. I would probably repurchase it, but it never runs out! I've had it for 3 months and i rotate it with my Sin Primer.

Sephora gave me a tiny sample of this from their floor bottle maybe 5 years ago, and I've been using this primer ever since. It works great for me just about all the time. It keeps my eyeshadow on (even if I forget and fall asleep with it) and un-creased, which is exactly what I had hoped it would do. Will definitely purchase again.

Great primer that calms my eyelid redness and serves as the perfect eyeshadow base. My shadow lasts all day and doesn't crease. The best eyelid primer I've ever tried!

Despite some of the negative comments, I am going to stand with UDPP in Eden. Eden's formula is similar to the original UDPP; the texture is silky and creamy. Eden does have a thicker consistency and it takes a bit longer to dry. Once dry, the neutral tint covers any veins or discoloration, and it instantly brightens your eyes. I know some ladies like the look of just a base or primer, so I would clearly recommend Eden for this reason. The greatest feature about this primer is how it creates a matte finish. I especially love how natural my eyeshadow looks and blends with Eden. In addition, Eden holds up against creasing just as well as the original. On the other hand, I would dare to say Eden controls oil better than the original formula. I have very oily eyelids so my eyeliner tends to smudge; fortunately, Eden solves this issue better than the original. My makeup doesn't budge with Eden; it has even withstood rain and watery eyes. Overall, I would recommend Eden to ladies who prefer a more natural eyemakeup look, have issues with smudging, and who have oily eyelids. I hope Eden benefits you guys as much as it has for me.

Love the new packaging in the squeeze tube thank u baby jesus! LOVE this es primer. Love the color as it counteracts any discoloration on my eyelids so it helps the es show truer to color. This color will give exactly whats in the pan, a white will make es brighter and black bases lend to a more smokey deeper toned es. But this give u the truest color out. I used to apply, concealer over my es base to get this very same effect but im thrilled this eliminates this extra step. It is a little tricky to gauge the amounts at first to squeeze out but a tiny amount is needed over applying this product will lead to creasing of the actual base however ive made this mistake before and while knew the base had creased mh es still looked the same with no creasing.

I discovered this great primer here at Makeup Alley reviews, thank you everyone who contributed. I have oily eyelids, eye make up just did not last, until now, this primer is the best. Have to work fast when using it though as it dries quickly. Only a small dap needed, now my eye shadow stays put and is the same colour at end of day as when I started out in morning. Great stuff.

I got this discounted at Nordstrom Rack for around $10, and for that price, it's very good. The creamy beige color of Eden evens out my lids and hides darkness and veins, and my shadows adhere well once it sets. If I apply too much (which is easy to do), it looks like heavy concealer on my lids.
I think Eden remains a bit more dewy than the original UDPP, so it can "grab" at shadow a little bit, making application a little sticky. It also creases on me by the end of the day. Original UDPP does not.
I intend to go through my tube of Eden, and then my tube of UDPP. Maybe I'd by Eden again if I could find it for cheap, but if not, I'll probably stick with the original version because it doesn't crease.
