It's a " nude matte". Dried too matte too dry thus exaggerates all the fine lines and makes you years older.

I think it's for someone with oily eye area. I am normal, with lines. Thus definitely not for me.

This eye primer in Eden is a so-so product. Yes, it primes your eyes and makes eyeshadows appear brighter, but it makes eyeshadows fade in hours. I expect this primer to at least make the eyeshadow long lasting; however, it does not. The application is also a mess; it is very difficult to apply and spread over eyelids and leaves a white streak on them. Just ugh.

THIS IS THE WORST PRODUCT I HAVE EVER USED!!!

I am really serious, this product is terrible. it creases so bad, and does not even last for 2 hours. Never ever buying the UD primer potion in Eden again. Awful waste of money, i suggest the Too Faced shadow insurance. it works so much better, and lasts longer.

I have deep set eyes and darker lids so I thought I'd give Eden a try in an attempt to brighten the eye area a bit. I was almost instantly unimpressed after applying. I didn't like the way it felt on my lids and the color did not work for my skintone (I am very, very fair in the winter with neutral undertones and the color came off quite yellow). For whatever reason, the texture made my eyes look very old and tired. I decided to keep it on just to see if it helped with creasing especially with my under eye concealer, it didn't. My concealer immediately creased into the fine lines under my eyes. After about 2 1/2 hours, there was messy creasing on my upper eyelid, too, which is actually quite unusual for me as I do not have oily lids and have had little problem with upper eyelid creasing even without primers. I also noticed some slight irritation around my eyes, though admittedly that could've been unrelated to the primer. I gave up and removed it. Unfortunately, I don't really see any reason for me to try the primer again.

I am on my third UD Eden Primer so clearly I like it. I live in the tropics and had completely stopped wearing eye makeup due to the steamy heat and the pointlessness of makeup which wouldn't even last the 30 min drive to work. Then about 3 years ago I discovered this gem and now wear eye makeup everyday and it lasts through the whole day thanks to this primer I remove it with a few drops of coconut oil.

Concealer and foundation or mineral powder also can't stand up to the heat and I use a few dabs of this on the odd spot and pat it on and it works.

The only problem I have noticed is that one of these has started to seperate and leak an oily clear substance, this may be a heat related problem or I could have bought old stock on line.

Either way this product is excellent and will always be in my makeup bag.

I keep coming back to Primer Potion. I stray but, thankfully, Primer Potion welcomes me - and my creased eyeshadow - with open arms. I prefer Eden because it evens out the skin tone on my eyelid and makes my shadow stay all day long. For real, I don't worry about creasing at all. I will say, this primer does make my eyelid look a bit more textured but I tend to have that problem with every primer I've tried.

I've used the original PP for years and always loved it. My eyeshadow would wear like iron and basically look the same after 12+ hours. When my last tube ran out, I decided to try the Eden version. I tend to have a fair amount of darkness on my lid, so I thought this would be perfect, and in that aspect, it is! But here's where the problem starts. My eyeshadow doesn't last near as long as with the original. It's faded and creasing when I look in the mirror at the end of the day. Not terribly, but I don't think it should be at all when I'm using UDPP. I've noticed that the texture of this is drier than the original, so I don't know if that's where it goes wrong or what. All I know is I do my regular routine (PP, MAC Paint Pot as a base + eyeshadows), and it just doesn't last. I'll stick with the original from now on.

I've tried all of the UD Primer Potions and they all are pretty nice. My favorite is the original, but this one is a close second.

It's a very opaque matte yellow-y tan color. I like it because it hides the redness on my eyelids. It has a very dry finish, though. I have oily eyelids, so for me this works perfectly. If you have dry skin this stuff may not work for you.

The finish is not near as tacky as the original. Sometimes this is a good thing. It makes the shadows very pigmented. It helps the eyeshadows with very little color payoff reach their full potential. I've used shadows that look almost sheer with the original primer potion, and with Eden they look vibrant and beautiful. It is a little harder to get an even application on the eyelid, though. Because of the dryness of the primer, eyeshadows don't glide on as easily and they are more difficult to blend out.

As with all the UD Primers I've tried, my eyeshadows lasted all day. No disappointments there.

This is definitely a great primer. I love using it when I want my shadows to really pop. However, I took off a lippy because nothing tops the original primer potion. That one will always be my fav.

Well I thought the UD primer in original was the worst primer I had ever used but I was wrong. It's this one. It's SUPER chalky and it made the skin right above my eyelid flake. And the worst part is my shadow creased really bad after only 2 hours. So glad I got this as a sample from Sephora and didn't pay for it. I would be really mad at myself if I had wasted $20 on this piece of junk primer. I gave it 2 lippies ONLY because I think the packaging is really pretty.

I bought this because everyone raved about UD's eye primers, and I didn't think the Original color would work. It seemed so blah. Later I realized it was probably the best choice. I thought Eden would be a better base for me. I wanted Sin but it was so shimmery and I was going for a more natural look when I bought this. Eden doesn't irritate sensitive eyelid skin, which some primers do, so that's a definite plus. However, it's very thick and yellow and interferes with the color of the powder shadows I apply on top.

Naturally, after I bought this huge tube of Eden, Urban Decay came out with Minor Sin, which was a more subtle version of Sin with less coverage and less shimmer. If only I had waited.

If I loved this product, I'd be excited that it comes in such a big tube, but since it's just okay, I keep wishing it were used up so I'd have an excuse to buy Minor Sin instead.

I haven't had the best luck choosing products from this line, but I have a few things on my wish list. They are: Minor Sin eye primer, the lovely Powder Foundation in Fair Neutral, some of the "moonstone" eyeshadows, and two of the nude lipsticks (Naked 2 and Native).

Will not purchase Eden again. I think the Original primer is better than this.
