This fragrance is amazing to me-it is just as others have described it-a little powdery, a little spicy, subtle in its sexiness. The funny thing is, I usually hate spicy and powdery, but when I found this scent I realized that I only dislike those elements when they are heavy. I am normally drawn to fresh, clean, floral, daytime type fragrances but this one is a rare exception. When I wear it I feel very warm, sexy, and, I don't know, just good. Very good.

This grew on me. This was a little too floral for me during the summer (not sure why!)....even though I tend to wear heavy scents year round. Black Orchid, Dead Sexy, Prada, etc. However it is a great combination of sexy and feminine....not too powdery, not heavy, not headache-y. It just smells womanly, seductive - but not overpowering. It just smells good, slightly fresh and clean, a bit of spice to mellow it out. I like this for sure. I would rebuy.

This is a beautiful perfume. I have many fragrances but this is my favorite. It is like perfection in a bottle. It is not too spicy, not too floral. It's just right. I get compliments galore. It is amazing layered with the almond coconut body souffle. Sometimes I will also use Laura Mercier Vanille Gourmande edt with it. L'Heure Magique is sexy and mysterious smelling. It is different from all of my other fragrances. It lasts but is not overbearing. It seems like it would appeal to almost anyone. You can change it up by using any of the gourmande collection products with it. It's just pure lovely! It's not foody.

Classified as a "fresh floriental", this is a lovely date-night scent. Slightly powdery and extremely feminine- but try even if you hate powder. Amazing sillage and staying power. Lovely citrus-pikake opening, amber/wood drydown. I don't wear this one in the heat of summer but it goes back into rotation for the cooler months.

I was enticed by the reviews and by the name of this fragrance. Upon trying it, I have come to the realization that this is a bit too generic for me. Kind of smells like a mixture between CK's Euphoria and Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist--a very ambery fragrance, but with a powdery softness to it. I had such high hopes for this--although it's not unpleasant. It's just so "not me"(I'm quirky, in my late 20s). I could imagine this would be the perfect fragrance on a sophisticated woman who shops from a Speigel's catalog.

LM perfumes are not very distinctive to me ,my humble opinion only - and I know many people like her fragrances. Like beautyqueeny- I became bored of this .

I love this perfume, it's very unique and doesn't remind me of any other fragrances. It smells warm and sensual without being sweet or fruity. My husband finds it agreeable. I get a slight hint of mint, but my husband can't detect any. If you're looking for a warm, long lasting and unique scent I would try this. This perfume smells very European to me. Romantic in and old world way.

At first there was something that was numbing and intrigueing that MADE ME buy this...I tired of this: boring, but sweet; just not me perfume. I think it reminds me of someone who is very nice and sweet but not a bit of spunk in them.Goodbye..

Not very powdery on me, and doesn't morph more than first settling, but it's complex & yummy.. I like the flavor alot- similar to Venezia & Tuscany per Donna, lighter & less sweet, an anytime scent, smells Italian, cheerful & sensual. Embracing your feminine soft side when wearing this!

I have NEVER finished a bottle of perfume... and this is my third. It's a very distinct fragrance--people always know when I'm in the room! It starts off a little spicy, and morphs into a beautiful floraly powder. I have not a person who does not think it's amazing. Definately worth a try. I am a perfume addict, and it is in my top three, along with Ralph Lauren Blue and Bulgari Eau de Jasmin.

I can't believe I did not review this perfume....I have a perfume addiction! I buy, and buy and buy perfumes but never really finish any.
This is my third bottle!!!! It is warm , comforting, sensual yet appropriate for work or a night out! When I wear it ( almost everyday) I get tons of compliments but the best part is that it make ME feel good!

My fiance bought me this one by request at Christmas and I am glad he was persistent--it was sold out everywhere but Saks. I love the scent--a bit hard to place--sweet without being cloying and definitely different than the fruity fragrances that are currently being mass-produced lately. It smells a bit musky, warm, a wee bit floral and a little like really tasty food (just for a second)--it also lasts quite awhile. It is still early, but I think I love it. I think my fiance does as well--anytime you have someone pulling your wrist up to their nose for a sniff, it is probably a good sign!

When I first tried this I thought, "Bleh!"
Watered-down woods, without much depth.
And now, after almost 6 months stashed away in the deepest section of my stash trunk, I finally dug it out for a second sniff. And I love it! Funny how it didn't appeal to me before. Now, I smell non-descript (in a good way) mixture of tame florals, woods, and soft musk. It's truly beautiful. Warm and even subtly erotic.

Laura's L'Heure Magique is an absolute beauty! The mixture of bergamot and white rose buds are simply lovely! However, They need to work on creating a different cap! Other than that super, super, super perfume!

Love-at-first-whiff most definitely. This is a powdery fragrance though, so apply it in small doses to prevent smothering yourself & those around you! This is a perfect cozy blend of vanillic sweetness, woods, & a brief initial topnote of tropical flowers. Lasts forever on my skin, and can go from day to night.

This is one of my all-time favorite fragrances. Very much like cashmere, it comforts and warms without feeling heavy. LM is a floriental, a blend of pikake, rose, geranium, sandalwood, amber and cashmere. If you like Fresh's Sake, give this one a try!

Being influenced by these reviews, I purchased a bottle of L'Heure Magique and am thrilled to pieces w/it!!! The cap, too!!! I love the shape and heaviness as well as the satin-finished metal it's made with. Just don't pick up the bottle by the cap and you'll be all right; it looks lovely, unique, unusual on my dressing table.
My favorite scents tend toward the orientals (Cartier's "Kiss of the Dragon" and Narciso Rodriquez "For Her", SJP's, "Lovely" are all winter favorites while for summer I love Bulgari's "White Tea", D&G's "Light Blue", and L'Artisan's "Papillon".
L'Heure Magique is a rich, yet not cloying or heavy, fragrance. I'm not good describing scents, but know this is one wonderful find for me and I love the way I feel when I'm wearing it.
