You need a GOOD base and a QUICK DRY top coat with this polish.

Even with those things, your manicure might not last; regardless of the top coat, the polish shows visible cracks after 2 days. Streaky on first coat, flawless and 80% opaque with a good second coat. I love the color and the wide brush, and it doesn't chip for a week with a good base/top coat combo (I use Orly Bonder + NYC Grand Central Station) but the cracks are a dealbreaker for me.

Cons:
- First coat is sheer
- Streaky on the first coat
- Formula dries out too quickly
- Needs about 3-4 coats until colour is the same as bottle
- The 3rd and 4th coat literally takes an hour to dry, if not more.
- Chips after a week

Pros:
- Lovely off white shade after 3-4 coats.
- No streaks after 3-4 coats
- First coat dries very quickly
- Brush is nice to use

Cons outweigh the pros although I really like the colour. Will not be purchasing due to the cons.

A pretty decent off-white. Requires some thinning (with nail polish thinner) and at least 3 coats, but the large, flat brush makes application a breeze.

The first coat is sheer and the next is streaky... Would be great over a french manicure, but I didn't buy it for that purpose.

This is the PERFECT topcoat color for a nice french mani. I was looking at Target for a sheer beige color to go over the nice tips I'd done with those nail polish markers. This was such as great color and dried very smoothly! I use this exclusively for french manicures which is why I understand why some people complain about it being so sheer. I haven't had any problems with the streaks and I quite like the brush as well. It applies very well and evenly on properly prepped nails!

Don't really understand some of the comments about this product because I actually really like it.

Haven't experienced ANY sort of streakiness, in fact I was more than impressed with the consistency. It's quite easy to achieve an even coat with this (and generally any nail polish) if what you're painting on is smooth and you work quickly. Any and all nail polish is going turn out gross if what your painting on has a lot of texture or it starts to get goopy. Use a base coat or two if you're having issues with streakiness or unevenness. This is just part of just knowing how to use nail polish to me...

Loving the brush, too. It's much easier to pant a wider nail-bed. Because it covers more area than a traditional brush I find that helps prevent tackiness and skipping because I can have the nail painted before the polish starts to thicken from being exposed to air. It makes things much quicker and easier.

As far as the color I'm not super impressed with it, but I knew I didn't love color when I got it because that was the only non-metallic nude I could find. I was looking for something a little fleshier and warm, but this is a great color. It's not so fleshy or nude, but sort of a cool beige.Very white-ish, but not harsh like a pure white. Something to wear when you want your nails to stand out but don't want the color to punch you in the face.

Not a fan of any polish that costs over 3 dollars because I'm used to buying very cheap crappy nail colors. Most people probably spend more than me on polish, so the price might be common for better quality polishes. This sort of color I had to spend a little more on though as it's not a color choice you see in cheaper polishes. Wasn't exactly what I was looking for so I settled a bit there, but it's something I will wear and do like after all.

I was hoping to use this polish as a base for shimmers and brighter colors. However, it's too thin and runny to really be useful, and doesn't apply evenly, no matter how many coats I use. I agree with the other reviewers; I was pretty disappointed and will not be repurchasing.

When I first brought this, the formula was kind of thin. The first coat dried quickly and is barely pigmented. The second layer is uneven and despite the name, it took a whole hour for it dry. The third evened out the color some but it was really tacky on my nails for the rest of the day.

Also using this for a month, the formula dried out and became really thick and goopy. It's not even worth it to revive with nail polish thinner. Ugh never again.

welcome to streakville..yeah this is a waste of money. a waste of five bucks. even if you layer this you can't get an even finish. i like the other colors in this line, but this pale white cream color just is not pigmented enough to apply on the nails.

I really didn't like this nail polish. Everything about it is awful. Firstly, the brush is not a typical nail polish brush. It reminds me of a thick lip brush. The product is horribly runny and streaks like mad. It serves an uneven application. The colour is not beige at all, it's more of an off-white And despite the name Insta-Dri, it takes over 15 minutes to fully dry. I'm very disappointed in Sally Hansen for putting out such a shoddy product.
