This is NOT long-wearing! On me it generally survives a couple of hours and a cup or two of coffee (but not food) before disappearing. This comes in a thin, long package and retails for $20 for 0.04 oz. Yes, 0.04 oz. (A typical lipstick in my experience contains 3-4 times that amount). So, not only does this product not work as advertised, it is really expensive! Those are two pretty big negatives in my book, which cause me to downgrade it three lippies. I cannot with good conscience even give it an average rating because you can buy an inexpensive drugstore lipstick that performs the same or better as this.
As for the product itself, the slim packaging makes it easy to apply, and the color glides on effortlessly. The consistency is quite smooth and doesn't feel drying. I find Stila lipsticks to be on the sheer side - this one is a little more opaque, which I like. As for the color, it is a warmer neutral - a medium peach neutralized with some brown. A good everyday, work-appropriate color. Won't be repurchasing - it is simply too expensive for a product that does not work as advertised.

It's funny that this is supposed to be a long-wear lipstick, because I thought it was very average in that department (maybe even a little below). But, it is a great, dummy-proof lip color for me, perfect for everyday wear. I wish it was just a normal lipstick, because I don't like the long, skinny lipstick cases that long-wear lipsticks seem to require. Like the first reviewer said, it also seems like there is less product this way.

I love this lipstick. The name "long wear" is a bit misleading, as it really does not last any longer than regular lippies, and I don't think you get a huge amount of product, but the colour is amazing and looks great on me. I look nice and polished but not OTT. It's a really good match to my natural lip colour so I don't look clownish or anything like that. It wears off nicely too - gradually but evenly. I find that incredibly important with lipsticks. I find it quite moisturising, it doesn't bleed, and it’s not too overly shimmery, glossy or matte. Great for everyday wear.
