DID ANYBODY NOTICE HOW CLOSE THIS IS TO NARS LHASA!? Nars is more sheer, and they both accentuate my green eyes like crazy. Much love to Nars, but Fyrinnae's colors are unsurpassed... don't forget the Pixie Epoxy!

Koala is a pretty brown taupe shimmer, just a hint more taupe than grey. It's another shade that is less glittery and more shimmery. It's pretty understated for Fyrinnae, and I like pairing it with Snow Leopard and Feline Familiars.

I'm getting too old for most of Fyrinnae's bright and sparkly shades, but Koala works nicely as an everyday shadow for me when applied lightly, and makes the transition into evening if I add an additional layer. Other reviewers have described its cool, plummy taupe shade very well. I like the fine shimmer that doesn't sprinkle onto my cheeks throughout the course of the day. This shadow works best over a primer (UD and LORAC are my favorites), but that's true for many shadows.

Are you familiar with the Chanel nail polish shade Paradoxal? Fyrinnae describes Koala as medium rosy taupe with a satin finish, but I think it's more like a lighter version of Paradoxal as an eyeshadow. If taupe and purple were to have a baby, it would be this color. It is a bit lighter than it looks in the container, but it's still very much a medium taupe. I'm very fair with light eyes, and I probably wouldn't wear it as a lid color to work, but I would wear it in my crease. Because it can shift to the taupe or purple side depending on what you pair it with, it goes well with lots of eyeshadows, from taupes to bright purples like Fyrinnae Delvian. It is super paired with Fyrinnae Velvet Vampire. It's gorgeous. It applies well over Pixie Epoxy and a good base and lasts well also.

A beautiful, silky plummy taupe that is very flattering if you can handle a slightly cooler tone to your taupes. Not reddish plum-taupe but purpley. Blends easily and nice texture to work with. Fyrinnae does taupes expertly, and this is no exception. Brings out the green in my hazel-green eyes.
As with all loose shadows/pigments, use a primer first such as UDPP or TFSI. You don't need to apply this one with a very slightly dampened brush, but if you do it will apply slightly darker. Love this shadow, it wowed me upon first try.

Hands down, my favorite e/s out of my recent six item order. It looks pretty blah in the jar. But when I put it on, it's a gorgeous lighter taupey brown with purple undertones and some silver shimmer. It's defying my description, but a lovely neutral with a little punch.

I got this eyeshadow as a free sample with my order and it's lovely. It's a cool, satiny purple, and on the skin it doesn't look as dark as it does in the jar. I just want to mention that on my eyes it's almost identical to MAC Circa Plum pigment. If you missed out on Circa Plum then try this. It's a little less frosty but that is easy enough to fix. Awesome texture and very blendable. If you like purples you need to own this! (I know this does not look purple on the site picture or in the description, but it does appear purple to me in the jar as well as on my skin.)
