I've used it for years. I receive free samples of more expensive Department store mascara sometimes and I've never found one that performs as consistently as cover girl pro mascara. I do not use waterproof as I feel it is too harsh on lashes and can lead to thinning.

This mascara was just to heavy and clumpy for me. I like a mascara that goes on smoother and is not so gloppy to apply. I used this 4-5 times and then tossed it. I also noticed it flaked quite a bit by the end of the day.

Below you will see my original review for this mascara. The packaging was changed toward the end of 2014. I bought the new tube and the formula seemed like the old formula. I then bought 2 more tubes, however the formula was definitely not the same. I had flaking and smearing, pretty much from the moment I applied it. I have moved on to other mascaras. I will not rebuy.
________________________________
I've always liked the CG professional mascaras. I thought I'd give this a try, I need my lashes to look thicker without clumping. Bought this in black. So far it's a 5 lippy. My lashes look feathery thick, I need only 1 or 2 coats. There is no flaking or clumping and my lashes feel soft. The brush is a very nice non plastic, traditional brush, not too fat or thin. My lashes look like I combed through them after applying. It washes off easily. This is a less wet mascara, it applies from a new tube the way my other mascaras apply after using them for a while, which is not too wet or dry, just right. I'm liking this!

I don't know about this one. It's hit and miss. Some days I can get a really nice thick even application, others I end up with a cold blob sitting on top of one corner of eyelashes. I've used worse. I've used better.

Decent thickening formula at a super affordable price. Doesn't deliver the moon but it didn't promise it to begin with. I much prefer Colossal Chaotic for giving me that super thick plush lash. although it's a fine mascara I found Chaotic and fell in love.

Love hate relationship with this mascara. I love the packaging, brush, thickness and volume, and price..When I first put it on it's wonderful,, however after a few hour's it's heavy on my eyes. It seems to make my contacts dry out, then I start to feel as though I have partials in my eye's..I use the waterproof formula, and it's very difficult to remove also. If I happen to sleep with it on, by morning my eye's are very irritated..I keep re -purchasing because it doesn't rub off through the day..Conflicted about this product..

I normally dislike covergirl mascara but this is the exception. I love the brush. It's a bigger brush but it's so easy to use. I'm able to get all my lashes and lower lashes. It's not a mascara that makes your eye lashes spiky. It is heavy though. There is some minimal flaking after about 8 hours. Very easy to use and I love the packaging. It's sleek and has a click sound when you close it. It's an everyday mascara. It does give some length. Over all it's not the best mascara I've ever used but it's the easiest.

It does makes my lashes look really thick but there's instances that it kinda look clumpy and heavy or maybe its because I naturally have thick lashes that makes it look heavy when I put thickening mascara but overall covergirl products are a must-haves.

One of my go to thickening mascaras. Like others have said, I believe this is a hidden gem at the drugstore. There great thing about the "bottom row" mascaras is that you can usually get two in a package for the same cost as the "top row" mascaras. I like the formula a lot. It reminds me of my beloved Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara. Its more on the dry side, but that makes it very easy to build layers without clumps. I also like this mascara layered under lengthening mascaras. This plus the LOREAL Telescopic Carbon Black mascara is a great combination for a dramatic look. It did not smudge or flake on me, and I live in a particularly humid climate. All in all a good mascara that I will definitely repurchase!
