I love this foundation!!! It makes my skin look "flawless", as my husband said! I found it for $2.35 and bought all they had. I use pressed powder after applying and I don't use the roller, I use my fingers. I will definitely keep using this.

LOVED IT! Bought it for my formal and my skin looked airbrushed, full coverage and a dewy finish. I didn't use the roll on applicator, just my normal makeup sponge. Only down side is is how little you get in each palette :( Otherwise..perfect :)

I have been wanting to try thus for so long ever since it appeared on tv. A month ago, it was on sale for $12.70 which is the lowest price so far. But there was almost none left, all the yellow shades were gone and I was left with "sand rose" which was for medium skin tones. I just chose that color because I really wanted to try this. I thought it could give really even, flawless and heavy coverage. But when I tried it at home the color was dark for me. It made me look grey and dull. It was my fault anyway, but to get that really nice and flawless look you need a lot of primer and moisturizers underneath this or it could look cakey. The coverage was pretty heavy. The packaging is very unhygienic. This product had potential but overall, it just wasn't the thing for ,most people. The texture is very smooth but not very thick or sticky. It gives a cream to powder finish with a semi matte finish with some dewiness. Since trying this out I haven't worn this out to anywhere. I feel that I can't make it work. I guess it will be one of those products in my drawer that sits there but never gets to be used. Would not buy again.

Good product, but a bit expensive as a drugstore brand. but do wait for it to go on discount as i got it for $10 and it usually sells for $34.95.
the rolling thing that it comes with-RUBBISH-it is unhygenic and makes the foundation very cakey. I use a foundation brush or a stippling brush and it gives fantastic coverage DOES NOT it look cakey AT ALL! the only thing is that it comes off around my nose, chin and where the most problemed areas are at the end of the day. But this is almost like a waterproof foundation, i wear it to the pool and afterwards it still makes my skin look naturally nice. it ends to run out quiet quickly and is very expensive for the ammount of product you get. But overall it is a great product and i would buy it again ONLY if its on discount.

When I first saw an ad on t.v for this foundation, I thought "I have to get this!"
But I ended up being quite disappointed.
PROS
- Convenient and can't spill like liquid foundation or loose powders
CONS
- Too orange
- Smears and comes off easily
- Not enough coverage, and if you do wear a lot of it, it looks very powdery and weird.
Conclusion:
The idea of this is roll on foundation is great, too bad it doesn't work good though . Won't buy it again.

I bought this product as my first foundation and consequently knew little about foundation. I heard about it on an advert and thought the packaging was quite nice, however, when I used it, it was horribly orange. I rarely used it and when I did, I only used it at night because during the day it was too orange. I did not like how hard it was to apply and I found little problems with the brush - probably due to lack of use - but I did find the handle of the brush dug into my face, hurting slightly, although that may have been an error in my application. Now, I find it much easier to use liquid foundations and have learnt from my previous mistakes. I do not remember exactly how much this foundation cost me, but I remember it was definitely not cheap and it was not worth the money. I would never buy this product again.

I HATE IT! Its cakey, SUPER WHITE, non lasting, the roller is useless and non hygenic, its so hard to find your shade cuz the color you see goes on hella whiter when you blend it on your skin. If you touch your face it will come off. And it looks gross on oily areas. DONT BUY IT!!!!!

I like it. I wish you could wash the little roller thingy, but, you know. It's whatever.
I'm just getting into makeup to cover up some hyperpigmentation I've got going on on my chin/forehead/etc and have never been big on the idea of foundation, but this stuff is fun to use. It's lightweight, doesn't give me that pore clogging feeling, it's decent enough to blend in...the only complaint I have is that it isn't available in more colors. I have the darkest one right now that's a cool shade, and I'm a little bit lighter than that with a warm skin tone. It works, I just have a feeling I could find something even better. For now though, this will do.
And for people whining about the brush being gross because you can't clean it, that's why you close your makeup when you're not using it and apply it to a CLEAN face. What, you think you're gonna catch a disease off it?!

I wear foundation daily to work, school, wherever, so I'm constantly trying different foundations that I hope match my somewhat uncommon skin tone - there aren't many. I have acne-prone skin due to my hormone levels and foundations that work with my skin type (moderately oily/combination yet mildly dehydrated) are hard to find. Liquid foundations easily melt away while powder wears off in patches. I absolutely love the texture of this formula! I like a very light-weight foundation that offers medium coverage. This offers great coverage of the uneven redness that occur with blemishes, leaving a dewy almost "cream-to-powder" finish. Many liquid foundations cover my dryer skin (cheeks/chin) while sliding right over blemishes on my t-zone but this foundation completely evens out my whole face. As far as color-matching, my local walmart offered every shade that comes in the liquid True Match. I have the W-4 compact, which is the best match to my skin tone to date. My skin is a yellow-beige so when I get blemishes the redness stands out. I have been using this shade in liquid form for a few years which I feel like is a much too heavy formula and prone to leaving thick "lines" that aren't easy to blend, especially around the jawline. This formula is so light-weight it almost seems sheer but it still provides medium-to-full coverage, which is easily buildable! At first I thought the roller wouldn't be the most hygenic, but I always wash and tone my skin with salicylic acid before applying foundation, which seems to leave my roller disinfected thus actually helping to treat my skin. The perfect shade and the awesome weight of the formula totally sells to me, I definitely recommend!

The roller makes application virtually flawless. Sometimes i use the roller to apply other foundations.
On my skin, the foundation was a bit too shiny and dark but i don't mind the extra colour for summer days..just need a bit more powder on top.
Downside is the foundation and the roller end up looking sooo grubby..this is very offputting! Close the compact as soon as you can to avoid dust etc flying in and sticking to the makeup...yuck!

Well, on the one hand, it didn't cake up, and it made my skin look quite smooth, but the sponge roller thing, although easy to use, is so unhygienic. It will break you out! And you can't even wash it. Besides, it only comes in tan shades - I have very fair skin and I had to apply it to my neck and decollete to blend the lightest shade in! I would not buy this again, though the foundation itself had an ok texture.

The sponge roller? Disgusting. You're supposed to use the same sponge over and over again and roll it back over the foundation after it touches your face?? Who in their right mind would do that?
You can't even wash the damn thing after each use, it's such a cheap sponge that it gets fluffy and frayed after washing it.
The foundation itself is mediocre at best. Hard to blend cause it is so thick and even the lightest shade gives the "tangoed" look.
Big big big disappointment.

Wow I'm surprised at the number of good comments about this product!
They almost make me want to give it another go as I never actually bought it but used a tester.
It was absolutely awful. It didn't go on evenly at ALL, it looked like a horrible, streaky mess. The roller didn't seem to pick up the foundation very well at all. I liked the idea of it but in practice I would never part with my money for this product. It left a lot to be desired in my opinion.

Overall, I was really disappointed in this foundation.
Packaging/Application: A sponge roller paired with your standard sized cream foundation. Nice in theory, not in practice. The roller leaves strong streaks when you apply to your face and these streaks are hard to blend out. New out of the package, the sponge already smells old and bad, with no way to change it without buying a new package. Roller sponge also doesn't actually pick up much :(
Formula: A little dry for my tastes, made it a bit hard to blend. Not the best smell in the world, but not overly sunscreeny, which is good considering it has spf25. Overall, I felt it looked pretty chalky.
Color Match: These are packaged in ranges, so instead of the standard perfect color you can get with TrueMatch, you're getting an in-between of two colors. I am a perfect C2 (Soft Ivory) in the True Match liquid, so I bought the C1-C2. It was WAY too light, so that combined with the usual SPF look, I look like a 12 year old goth kid. I imagine it's too dark for those who wear C1. I don't really know what they were thinking with these color ranges, as that's the entire point of the TrueMatch line.
Lame.

I had been wanting to buy this product for a while now. The price was holding me back, but I took the plunge last week and bought it. I agree with the other girls that it is fun to apply and leaves a nice matte, soft finish. It covers blemishes and never looks cakey. I am still getting used to the roller brush, but so far so good. If I had to say 1 bad thing it would be that it does not wear off well. With my usual product I can go the whole day without a touch up and still look ok. But this product definitely needs a mid-day touch up. However I will continue to use it and will buy it again, just in a different shade. I am using C1/C2 and I find it just a bit too light. With summer coming I'll need to move up to the next shade.

I've been searching for the perfect foundation and have tried everything from Aveda to Merle Norman to Shiseido to Dior to Estee Lauder. This one beats them all!! Gives great coverage without looking cakey. Doesn't have an odd/annoying smell like some other foundations I've tried. At first I was skeptical of the roller but it's actually the perfect applicator...easy (and fun!) to use, mess free, and fits everywhere on my face. My favorite part of using the roller is that it makes the foundation extremely quick to apply. Another plus is that it doesn't irritate my cheeks which are extremely sensitive. I also like the cute compact and that it holds both the foundation and the applicator. I recommend buying it at Shoppers...the makeup girl there was very helpful and spent about 20 mins applying the true match liquid foundation so I could find my perfect shade! I'm so glad I tried this, it's my new HG foundation!!

This is a really fun concept! It does go on really smooth and covers without looking mask-like. I just bought mine at CVS.

I thought i would try this foundation as i ran out of my usual dreame matte mousse. Believe me i ran out of this foundation in about 3 weeks! The roller what is provided to apply the foundation is absolutely rubbish so in the end i ended up applying with a sponge! The foundation doesnt stay on all day either. After this I then bought MAC Studio Fix and for 19.95 that was a much better buy as its lasted 4 times as long and ive still got some left! Dont buy this product.

I like this foundation a lot!
Besides the fact it blends really well, it also covers all the spots and even the light freckles!! The skin is soft and flawless.
I used only "stay true makeup oil free" or "superfit makeup" from clinique, being afraid of pimples or irritations, that i usually would recieve from other foundations, but i have to admit that up to now i didn't experience any skin trouble with "roll on true match foundation".
