This is great for creating a shimmery purple smokey eye. I use it dry (I don't have much lucky with wet application) and it's still very pigmented if I use it over primer and a sticky base (NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cottage Cheese.) Love the price and it last a long time!

Love the lavender color!!! I'm obsessed with this quad lately. The eyeshadows are high quality IMO, very pigmented, long lasting, and both colors are pretty. Not crazy about the dark purple shade, but the light shade is to die for. Packaging is decent, for the price it's a very good deal :) This is my first Hard Candy product, will try others from the brand!

The picture of this duo is way off - it looks like pink and brown, but it's actually a light lavender and dark purple-gray. The color combo goes together really well and it looks nice on your lids! The shadows are soft and silky and very easy to blend. The shimmer in it is really pretty! It's almost metallic in a way. The colors are very subtle, so this is good if you want to use purple eyeshadow without it being too bright :)

I bought this, along with another duo in the same trip. Both of them have nice colors, but layered over UDPP still don't last a typical work shift for me. They are ok, but not something I'll purchase again.

OK. AMAZING EYE SHADOW! I am buying this again, and again, and AGAIN. The color is AMAZING. Shimmery, but not glittery, its so sleek and shiny. The color is wonderful. A smoky eye with this is just amazing. The product applies well and last a long time. It looks great with any hazel and brown eyes.AND OMG, IT LOOKS 10X BETTER WET! My only complain is mine broke fairly fast just from being in my purse, BUT when it breaks, take it, put it in a bowl, smash up the product add some rubbing alchohal and it will for into a kind of playdough substance, pack it back into the origonal packaging and you have yourself and dark shimery metalic purple.

This dome shaped, shimmery baked eyeshadow duo is very nice. I have used it many times before actually writing this review. It’s pretty typical, as far as baked eye shadows go. It is very shimmery, and you have to use it carefully, but I feel like this does not have nearly as much in the way of fall out as some other baked shadow’s I’ve used. The colors are a light purple and a medium smokey purple. (The picture above looks totally off on my monitor – its not nearly that pink/brown) The difference in the shades isn’t a lot, but enough to add definition. It is a fun color, but it not over the top. I typically wear neutral shades, but I feel that even though this is purple, it is still something I can wear during the daytime or at work. Usually when I wear it I pare it with gray eyeliner and smoke it out on the bottom. Or, for a dramatic nighttime look I can amp it up with a little black in the outer corner. I think it looks very nice. You might not like this if you don’t like really shimmery colors. It works really great used dry or wet. I use UDPP and get pretty good color pay off (not amazing, but good) and it lasts all day long without problems. If you really want to intensify the look, you can foil it, or use eye-poxy – that really intensifies the look! I really want to try some of the other shades! The packing is really cute, but also stable, and the price is very reasonable. I say go out and try one!
A previous poster compared it to the Maybelline duos. I like the Maybelline one, but I will agree these are much better! The color pay off is better and this one is a lot less dusty as well.

Got this off the shelf by pure impulse. I didn't expect so much from this product because there weren't so much reviews when I got it. I was surprised with how much I fell in love with these HC baked duos. The pigmentation wasn't out of this world but it's expected for a baked product no matter what brand it is. It's very buildable. I like how tightly pressed it is so the shadows don't fly all over. I can wear this whole day with or without primer and it doesn't crease. Very good quality in my opinion.
Shade wise, I love the variety of colors. I've tried Rush Hour and Rock and Roll so far and I'm in love with both. I can't wait to get more colors! What I hate is that Walmart does not restock quickly enough... these babies run out so fast!!!
P.S. Rock and Roll is by far my fave purple shade eyeshadow. Love the dark purple for the perfect smokey eye without the blacked eye look :)

I really like this eyeshadow. The colors are gorgeous and show up nicely (I have issues with purple shadows for some reason)
I was recently disappointed by Maybelline's studio purple icon palette, but loved one of the lavender colors in it. When I bought this two weeks later, I was happy to find that the lighter color is almost exactly what was in the Maybelline palette.
The colors are a bit sheer but can be easily layered up. I love using the darker, slate color for a liner as well for the outer corner of my eye.

These eye shadows are great, especially for the price. They aren't glittery or sparkly.... more like a soft shimmer. The perfect amount of pigment ... the lighter colors tend to look better than the dark though. I love rush hour but I only use the pinkish mauve side, the brown is kinda ugly. I stick to my Antiqued by MAC for the brown when I blend. I was using mythology for the pinkish color on my lid but I will defiantly buy rush hour again just for the one side... it's only six$ beats 14$... STICK TO LIGHTER COLORS... DARKER COLORS ARE WACK <3

Ok i got this yesterday and use it today, with a primer and it is horrible i read several reviews that indicate they didn't had enough pigmentation but i got to try it....Well they were right the color are beautiful don't get me wrong but they aren't dark enough not even the one that is supposed to be used in the crease.... so i don't believe im gonna buy another eyeshadow ... maybe the black one, one last shot! but this color im gonna use it on a low to none make up day...

This is a really great shimmery eyeshadow duo! The colors don't crease or fade (so no need for eyeshadow primer with these), they look beautiful applied wet or dry (I recommend using them wet if you want really intense what-you-see-in-the-pan-is-the-color-you-get color), and they can be easy to blend (though, believe it or not, don't be surprised if you find them easier to work with using your finger to apply and blend instead of a brush). I definitely recommend these if you like baked, shimmery eyeshadows.

I really loved this eyeshadow when I did swatches, but when I applied it to my eyes, I couldn't get it dark enough when it was dry. It also only lasted a few hours before it started wearing off. It applies very smoothly and looks amazing on green eyes, but I would recommend wearing it wet and make sure you use a primer!

I actually love this combo w/my green eyes. It makes them look almost cat like glowy...awesome! :) I wear the lighter purple all over my eye, then the dark purple in the crease and a touch around my eye (as in liner effect) and WOW totally works as the colors blend together quite easily. I usually wear this in combination w/my Hard Candy 'Kitten' lipstick...totally amazing together! :)

I liked this e/s! It had the perfect amount of shimmer & pigment. However I wasn't crazy about the darker purple..it had a gray tint to it & thus I think this e/s duo would be better for blue eyes rather than green. I do love the light purple half though. Its hard to find the perfect purple shade for my coloring, so I'd probably repurchase even for just the lighter shade. Also - Hard Candy has the cutest packaging ever!

I have brownish/hazel eyes, so I love purple shadows! This was definitely a great buy! Cheap, great colors when applied, didn't crease, stayed on, and lasted a long time! Not too shimmery, either. Rock n Roll is a well matched duo and I'll probably check out some other shades, as well! : )

AMAZING SHADOWS. I first got a Kaleyedescope Eye Duo in Peace, and LOVED the cover payoff and the staying power: No creases, no flaking off, no fallout. I now have it in High Maintenance, Break Up, Rush Hour and Secret Rendezvous. I use this with the Sheer Envy Primer on my eyelids and it looks as good at 5 pm as it did at 8 am when I applied it. Well worth the money. Its a great investment with pretty colors, great payoff, large sizes, cheap price I may get a few more colors!

Although this is not the color I have, (I couldnt find the colors I own) I would buy this color. I love that these are wet/dry shadows! The packaging should definitely mention more about it being wet/dry as I had no clue until I went to the website. I am a lover of BRIGHT colors and these are GREAT! I will definitely own the whole line!!

I bought this after a friend of mine bought some and I really liked the colors so I decided to get some.
I like how well it blends together and how well they look together.
When I wore it I didn't get creases like I do with other brands of eye shadow.
I will be trying out other colors and styles of Hard Candy.

I loved this eyeshadow duo!! Color is great. I have not tried to use it wet yet....but the color payoff is still great when using it dry. It reminds me of the MAC mineralized duo. One difference I noticed was that there was no fall out. This was a plus for me....not to mention that I got it from Walmart for only $6. They had so many of the duos approx 12-14. I bought 5 of them. So far I have used two of them & loved them both!!! I was so surprised at the quality. These are really high end products!!! I will definitely be going back to try out some of their other products....They had lipsticks, eyeliner, a primer, blush, bronzers, shadesticks...etc....

I'm a girl on a budget so I can't really afford anything over your average drug store makeup. This being said, I'm usually very disappointed when shopping for eye shadows. The colors are generally low pigment, rub right off, and go on unevenly. "You get what you pay for," they say, so I believed with low prices I was always going to get low quality. Now that I've stumbled across Hard Candy I've changed my mind!
I purchased not only the Kal-eye-descope in Rock n Roll, but Ab Fab as well. I LOVE these. The colors go on so smooth and even, with just enough shimmer without going overboard. They stay put even without a primer. Cute colors, cute packaging, great quality. I can't wait to go back to Wal-Mart and grab more colors.
