This stuff stinks...literally. It had a sickly sweet smell that I couldn't get past. I only used this a few times before I tossed it.
The one good thing about this primer is it did help keep oil at bay, which is one of my requirements for a primer. It didn't really help give that blurry, hide my pores look that I also look for in a primer. I wouldn't recommend this product.

I love this primer! It is the best one I have used so far, but I have only used three or four, so I don't have an extensive history with primers. I love that it has SPF in it, allowing me to avoid wearing greasy moisturizers under my foundation. It really helps prolong the wear of my foundation (at LEAST 8 hours) and provides a beautiful demi-matte canvas for application. The mineral pigments are softly diffusing of imperfections, so I feel like I can wear this primer solo if I want to. I also love that it has Vitamin A, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C in it, so I feel like I am doing some good for my skin.
I use three pumps for my face, neck, and chest (because of the SPF) and let it set for at about 5 minutes, otherwise it is too fluid for my powder foundation. It definitely dries down quite a bit, so waiting makes the finish better and will prolong the wear of your make-up. I will usually just put it on as the last step in my skin care routine rather than the first step in my makeup routine.

I really like the feeling of this product on my skin. Very lightweight and it feels like it creates a barrier between my makeup and skin, helping to hold up my makeup throughout the day and also to keep my foundation from sinking in to my pores. The only thing that I am disappointed with this product is that because of its popularity the price keeps increasing. Was once a really great value for a great product, hard to find affordable primers that work well...

I love this primer. It's my go to before I put anything on my face as far as makeup goes. I just repurchased after finally finishing a bottle. I have the oil free version because I have an issue with my face getting oily as the day goes on. It still has SPF 15 which I love because I know my face is protected. Also I love how my face feels as I put it on, it's so velvety and smooth. When I went to repurchased I tossed around the idea of getting the hydrating version (it's blue) or the illuminating one, however I was afraid the hydrating version would make my skin too oily and I was afraid I would be a disco ball with the illuminating one. Definitely something you should pick up if you like Smashbox's primer because it's pretty darn close and it's cheaper.

This is a really good primer!! It reminds me of Smashbox's foundation primer a lot. I think it works just as well. It's not as pricey as higher end primers either. It also comes with a lot in the tube.

This is just a great primer. I have combination skin that seems to take great pleasure in shedding any and all makeup I apply on it within 6 hours...Or so it did. Until this primer came on the scene.
I know, it's Victoria's Secret, and they're not world renowned for their mind blowing cosmetics, but this is a serious find.
The ways I love thee, my primer:
-SPF 20
-Foundation lasts at max 14 hours instead of 6
-Foundation applies more evenly and is more blendable
-Slight shimmer that adds a little life to matte foundations
-Adds some moisture and prevents flakes
-Skin is velvet soft
-Smooths skin and camouflages pores
-Does not break me out
-Minimal odor
-A doable $18 (not to mention VS has frequent sales/specials so I can stock up)
But it breaks my heart after the 5 or 6th time I use a new bottle. Because, alas, this is yet another wonderful product that has fallen victim to the horrors of BAD PACKAGING!
It's awful. Pure evil. It's so deceptive! It comes in a clear bottle so one can tell how much is left, and has a neat looking pump. However, after around the 6th squirt, you'll notice a consistency change. The product separates slightly and the straw thing from the pump doesn't reach all the way to the bottom! So if you aren't willing to stir up the bottle with your thinnest makeup brush you own (because the neck is TINY!), each day you'll get a surprise degree of runniness. And when you think you've got about 1/4 left, usually the rest is a dried up, useless smudgy chunk mess in the bottom because the straw won't reach down that far.
It's a pity, but not as big of a pity as the fact that time after time, I come back to this primer, with full knowledge that this will happen to me again. Every time, I think to myself "No! This time it will be different! I can change it! I will make this work!" only to buy it, take it home, and be left in the cold light of my vanity's lamp every morning, feverishly trying to stir it back together.

When I bought this primer, I got it to replace my Rimmel prime and perfect but little did I know, this does not prolong the life of my makeup look. Dont get me wrong, it is a good primer but its not going to make you look perfect all day. Instead I learned it is meant to make the product application go more smoothly and give sun protection. Other than that, the primer clogged my pores in the long run thanks to its formulation. To top it off, while applying this, it felt oily on my face but dried to a strange plastic like finish. Later when it runs out, it becomes difficult to dispense because of the bottle's shape. Most of the product just retreated to the inside edges of the bottle as I walked zitfaced to the makeup counters to find something else.

I ordered the vs Pro Airbrush Bronzer Primer, and they got my order wrong and sent me the VS Pro Air brush "ILLUMINATING" one , and I actually liked it, so I decided to not complain and kept it (but will need to re order the bronzer one again). However, being that I did keep this one, I actually DO love it! The color is a like a VERY light pinkish/white tone with very very tiny glitter/shimmer/highlight infusing color specs that very upclose they are like teeny tiny pink shimmer specs.
I also dont mind-but did notice it has a smell-like a light "rose" type of scent (if you like rose petals, you will like the light scent)-although I dont mind the scent, I dont prefer any scented primers.
When you first put it on it feels a little slick and slightly oily (even tho it says oil free).BUT..after waiting about 5 min before putting on my makeup, it really does smooth out my skin and makes it just beautiful with a tiny hint of sheen and you can see the pretty highlighted areas of my cheek bones. The highlight is very subtle, so dont worry about "glitter" or it being too "high beam" showing. But overall this is a nice buy. :) Can't wait to try the bronzer one!

I bought this in the travel size so there's no pump, I just squeeze it out of a bottle. I bought this one and the illuminating primer. I prefer this one over the illuminating primer as the second seemed to make my pores larger. I like how this feels silky smooth on my skin. The very first time I used it, it was great! However, it seems to no longer make my foundation last. I don't have oily skin so I can't comment on its performance to minimize shine. I purchased it mainly to extend the life of my foundation, so I'll keep searching. I hear Monistat chafing gel is very similar to Smashbox Photo Finish, so I'll be giving it a try.

Since giving birth two years ago, my skin has been very weird. I started getting acne and I became very careful with what products to put on my face. The Victoria's Secret Airbrush FX Face Primer (only I have it in the SPF15) is one of my favorite skin products ever! It's not too expensive for a non-drugstore brand, cost me $15. And I don't need to put on so much so a bottle also lasts me long. It leaves a silky almost silicone feeling to the face when applied. My makeup glides on smoothly and this product does NOT break me out which is very good. I would definitely recommend this face primer. I am Asian and I would even love to give this as a Christmas present this year to all my friends in the Philippines since all of them are makeup lovers like me!

Another primer that I am not fully happy with, but I am still seeking for my HG in this department. VS primer is very silky and does a good job evening out the skin surface, preparing it for the foundation application. I love the feeling of smoothness it gives, but it really does nothing extending a wear of my foundation. I haven't noticed any difference at least. The packaging is wrong, because the staff is not fluidic enough and collects on the sides of the bottle, making it very hard to get out with the pump. Wish it was in a tube instead. Will not repurchase, still hope there is a better primer somewhere out there.

This is a great primer. I bought it being a little frugal instead of buying my usual MAC Prep and Prime. I love this primer. It goes on very smooth and has a minimal smell. This primer does it's job as it does help my make up stay on all day. I would have to say my only beef with this primer is that it makes me a little oily, but take this with a grain of salt as I have very oily skin on my face. I put a little milk of magnesia on my T-zone and then put this primer on top of it and I never miss a beat. I have also notice less breakouts using this primer than any of my others. Also note that it lasts a very long time, I wear makeup daily and Ive been using the same bottle since July!!

This product is silky to the touch, it does not show under makeup, and as an added bonus has broad spectrum sun protection. What else can you want?

I bought this primer because I didn't want to spend too much money and I was running low on my other primer, so basically, it was just on a whim. The packaging caught my eye, though, and I especially liked how the primer came in a decent plastic bottle with a pump, but I did not like how the product was all mushed together in the bottle. When I opened the lid, it seemed like the primer was all glued to the edges of the bottle and I would have to shake the bottle with force just to get it out. The texture of the primer is also silky, almost watered down, and EXTREMELY oily, which I did NOT favor for my combination skin. However, it does help keep the makeup stay on for long hours. I would go to school at 8 am, go to work in the afternoon, then come back home at 8 pm, and noticed that my makeup had not worn off at all. Overall, this was just a product that I bought on a whim and that I have always wanted to try out, but I will definitely not buy it again or recommend it to anyone with oily or combination skin.
Pros:
-has a pump
-decent price (about $18-$20)
-no fragrance
-helps makeup stay on for longs hours
Cons:
-TOO OILY!!!
-have to shake the bottle multiple times

I absolute HATE this product! I bought this oil-free primer because I already have oily skin and my face would just be excessively oily if I bought had bought the one with oil. Anyways, I had used Rimmel's face primer before and I loved it! It did a very great job evening out my skin and minimizing my pores. As I started running out I began looking around for a new primer and I came across this one. I thought I'd give it a try so I bought it and tried it out. It was a lot thinner and more oily than the one I had before. I didn't like how it didn't cover my skin evenly and it didn't minimize my pores on my nose, instead, it made them more visible to the eye. After using it for a month I realized how dark my pores had gotten! I tried using every remedy that you could possibly think of to get rid of them, but no luck. I was so upset. I became really self conscious of my nose and went back to my old primer which helped hide my now black pores. I wouldn't reccommend this product at all to anyone especially those with pores, those who break out easily, and those who have oily skin. It's a big waste of money.

I'm kind of amazed by this primer. I have pretty dry skin and most primers tend to suck up all the moisture in my face and leave me with a Sahara desert-dryness that I have to try and apply foundation over... but this one feels so silky and actually seems to hydrate my skin. I usually just smear on some tinted moisturizer and a bit of cream blush over this and I'm good for the entire day. It's really an impressive product, I will definitely purchase again.

I've tried a lot of primers I used to use the MAC prep and prime but would always end up greasy by the end of the day, I picked this up at VS to bump my purchase to $50 so I could use a coupon and when I used it I loved it. Goes on really smooth, gives a really nice base for foundation and just makes my face really matte and silky I use the oil free version because at 27 I still have awful acne and it helps to cover my acne scars. Really nice product, I'm starting to try more of their make up and am really liking it I was hesitant because I hate every fragrance except Heavenly.

This was the first foundation primer I used and it's probably the one I'll consistently come back to after having tried other face primers including from Stila and NYX. The primer has SPF 30 already so you can use any foundation with or without SPF. The texture of this primer is very silky, though too much of it can feel a little greasy on the skin, so a minimal amount is key to feel-good powder foundation makeup that doesn't get heavy on the skin throughout the day. This can be an issue for those with oily skin especially during the summer, but fortunately Victoria's Secret recently came out with an oil-free primer. I have yet to try this, but this definitely sounds like a far better alternative than the original for those with oily and acne-prone skin! The original formula should be great for those with dry skin, though.
I would give this product a 5, but the packaging has a pump that may dispense too much product at once, so I often had to pump a quarter of the way down to get just the minimal amount of product I needed for one application of foundation. A full pump would have resulted in the greasy mess I mentioned.
The price of this primer is a little high compared to primers such as those by NYX. I have tried the HD primer from NYX though, and although it's about $5 cheaper than the primer from VS, I still prefer the more versatile VS formula by leaps and bounds more.

I LOVE this face primer! Before this, I always used bareMinerals primetime primer. I ran out of them, so I went ahead and got this. I am quite impressed how good this works. It's scentless, has a PUMP, smooth to the touch, and has great staying power. A very good base for my foundation to sit on. It sucks I'm almost running out though, but I would definitely go out and buy this again.
