This is an awesome palette, for a very good price. I don't know how to review this except doing it by colors.
Eyeshadows on the sides (buttons):
The white: Very shimmery white, highly pigmented looks like a silvery (without the gray) shimmer
The golden bronze: Cold-gold eyeshadow, no orange in it, looks like a gold shimmer (towards old gold, not orange) on the eye; very cool especially if the dark shade is gray
The black: The most sparkly black that is true (no gray and no blue and no brown) that you can apply on a thin layer and get a truly smokey shimmer, or on a thick layer and you will get jet black black that is sparkly (almost like an eye gloss)
The purple: Matte beautiful purple, more on the warm side, very flattering and highly pigmented (looks great when applied wet as a liner)
The green: it's actually a VERY COOL AND TRENDY mustard shade, very sparkling and looks unique; because it's shimmery there is no danger for it looking weird;
The blue: true blue, intense and cold (no hint of red in it whatsoever), satin-finish, also great for high-style lining when used wet
The Middle Greys:
The White: pure white, not as shimmery as the button white, but not matte either;
The Light Gray (Lid): light cool gray, satin finish, can used alone and because it's highly pigmented it gives a very subtle but visible shade; it also is not too shimmery, it does add shade;
The Dark Gray (Crease): highly pigmented cool gray (a tint of blue in it), more like metal gray with a sati finish; highly pigmented and you have to be careful with it during the day or it may go more intense than you think! :D^_^
The Black: Very intense black, just used for lining the upper lid it adds intensity even when used dry; it's very intense and it does have just a tint of satin in it; it is a black that goes a little towards blue, just a little
The blushes below:
The Pink - the Big Ease: Very pale pink, suitable for very fair skin, it will almost not look since it's matte;
Rome: peachy intense blush, very dewy finish without being neither matte neither shimmery; suitable also for fair skin;
Topeka: I consider this the perfect bronzer or contouring for fair skin, it's warm but not too orangey at all, more like a deep warm beige
The Bronzer - Medium : it's actually a bronzer only if you are very fair, matte finish, if you're even medium toned this will almost be invisible on you.
I think the Bronzer is only for very fair skin, the blushes will be useful also only fair skin, except for Rome which may go to medium skin too since it's so flattering, looks HE (how corny and snobbish by me, but hey it's true, this does NOT look like a DS blush, it's a complex color).
However the eyeshadows are amazing for all eyes and skin tones. They last great with a primer (I use a TF primer) and they can all be used wet as liners. Highly pigmented, very smooth and easy to blend, useful for daytime and nighttime too (and catwalk time for those who need this).
It's the most amazing palette, especially since it contains so many cool-toned eyeshadows that pretty much give you almost everything you need from pale to dramatic, cool-tone wise, and usually palettes contain more like warmer colors to fit everyone and not be obvious but this palette does give you what you need in order to do a Runway look. :D without containing anything weird.
And I admire the fact it DOES contain fashionable shades (mustard, the electric blue, the matte purple) but made wearable for everyday too.
I hope the re-edit it one day.

I'd been eying this palette since it first came out but was so put off by the enormous, crappy packaging that I kept passing on it. I'm a sucker for greens though and kept looking longingly at the light olive and the emerald singles in this one, so when I heard Sephora was marking all of their Cargo stock 50% off I dropped everything to see if they still had some of these available at my store. Very thrilled when they did! This palette comes with a 6 single "button" eyeshadows that are about the size of MAC shadows, a fullsize grey quad that would be great for smokey eyes, 3 extremely generously sized blushes and two smallish bronzers. Everything is of great quality too: very pigmented, blendable and silky. There's enough product here to have made this palette a good deal at its original $49 sticker price so it was quite a steal when I got it for $24.50! All but the grey quad are stamped with garment-esque textures (buttons, cable knits and straight knitted) which is cute, but the palette design is epic fail. It's huge. Significantly bigger in surface space (though not in thickness) than even one of UD's Books of Shadows (it's about 8x8x1" I think) and there's a ton of dead space inside that doesn't need to be there. They could have easily made a palette half this size without making anything inside it any smaller if they had wanted. There's no mirror, booklet, written tips or fun pictures to utilize the extra space either. I really don't understand what they were thinking here. It's made about of really cheap cardboard too and the blushes rub product onto the cover when the lid is closed. It says a lot to me that even for a makeup junkie like me who has very little will power in terms of denying myself makeup I want that the packaging could put me off buying this palette at full price but it absolutely did. I hope if they put out palettes like this in the future they do a better job!

I just purchased this kit yesterday at Sephora. It's a limited edition so it won't be around forever. I am almost temped to go get another one. I must say that I LOVE this kit. The colors are gorgeous and sooooo pigmented! They are also very creamy and rich feeling. I am in love with all of the colors too. Perfect for fall and winter. They grey's in the middle of this kit are amazing. The blushes are great and will really compliment most skin tones. The blush in the middle (Rome, I believe) is very pretty, the perfect peach. The bronzer is beautiful too. All of the colors are shimmery with the exception of the purple so if you are not into shimmer, you may not care for this kit. The price is what really got me, $49 for all of this, that's about $3.60 per product included. You would be hard pressed to find quality products like this at the drugstore... for that price. I highly recommend this one!

OK...Soooo, the packaging is cute, but not very sturdy or at all practical. That is the only thing bad I can say! I may end up depotting most of this and making my own palette out of it just to save space, but it's really cute!
I took a look at the products and all of their amounts...the button eyeshadows are bigger than MAC, the grey eyeshadow palette has a TON of product, and the blushes and Bronzer has more product than a MAC blush (though not as big as a normal Cargo blush). I swatched the blushes in the palette against the blushes that come separately and they are very similar but not exact...so I don't know if you consider that a good or bad thing!
Upon swatching all of the shadows and blush and bronzer, I found everything to be highly pigmented, buttery smooth, and blendable. I have many Cargo blushes myself and they last all day and I love the quality. I'm really really really really pleased at the eyeshadow consistency and i can't wait to play with this palette all fall and winter long!!!
Overall: Packaging is cute but not good, but I want it for the product and the good deal! So, I find this to be an amazing value. $49.

I saw this and had to have it sight unseen. Well, i think i jumped the gun a little bit. Sephora.com says this product is:
This kit was created to make applying Fall 2009's hottest runway looks easy and fun. The season's color palette allows for endless combinations with the smoky gray eyes, bronzed nude cheeks, and pops of vibrant eye color. Complete with a smoky-gray eye palette, six runway-inspired eyeshadow shades, three silky powder blushes, and a best-selling bronzer, you'll be on your way to creating your own custom, vibrant fall looks in no time.
This set contains:
- Essential Palette in Gray
- Blush in Big Easy, Rome, and Topeka
- Medium Bronzer
- 6 Button Eye Shadows in Emerald Green, Charcoal Blue, Shimmering Green-Gold, Golden Brown, Dusk Blue, Matte Purple
What else you need to know:
Each blush and bronzer is embossed with whimsical, garment-inspired button motifs while the shadows are reminiscent of buttons.
When i bought it i didnt realize the blushes were ones i already owned. I also didnt realize the palette itself is HUGE! I thought it was just the display and each piece would be loose. THis is ridiculously large and cumbersome to use. I feel like I am working with a notebook.
other than that, products are top quality. PIgmented and last all day. I would recommend if you dont have any of the products. Retails for $49.
