This stuff is way too greasy, it broke me out and clogged my pores terribly. I can't believe how my skin reacted to this stuff. I'm having to relearn my skin after quitting the ole smoking habit, and this has been the worst thing I've used on it. Took around 2 weeks, give or take, to get my break outs to calm down even a little. (With using a lot of greek yogurt masks to sooth the inflammation, too.) I am absolutely not a fan. The similar priced Cerave moisturizer also broke me out, but not even half as bad as the Cetaphil moisturizer did. Going to try to use up the giant tubby of it on my body and force my husband to help me use it up.

My skin:
My body can get really itchy and irritated, don't know why :( I used Jergen's Ultra Healing moisturizer for a while, but it stopped helping. >_< For a few months I've been using Aveeno Skin Relief and it hasn't helped much.
My face is dry and really sensitive, so finding a moisturizer that doesn't irritate it somehow is challenging. I have trouble with redness too =/
The product:
Wow, this is amazing. It feels thick but creamy so it's easy to move around (not in the way that you wipe your concealer away trying to blend it) and it absorbs quickly. It did not irritate my face... It feels so nice! I also dont think this will break me out because it doesn't feel like its clogging my pores. Honestly I'm not sure yet though. I really hope that doesn't happen but if it does I'll just use this as a body lotion.

I have oily and acne prone skin. This moisturizer is perfect. It is lightweight and has not broke me out. I love how gentle it is. This will continue to be my everyday moisturizer.

Ahhh, this is my new love! I was in desperate need of a good night cream, and have been wanting to try this for awhile. I did pay $23.99 CDN for it, but since I will pretty much only use this on my face, the price is justified. So my skin has changed now that I'm over that teenage acne phase. My oily- normal combination skin is now slightly oily/dry and sensitive, in terms of eczema like irritations on the tops of my cheeks. This does not cause or aggravate any of my dry or sensitive areas, and does a good job of helping with the dryness overnight. My skin is still a bit acne-prone, but I think its safe to say this does not break me out. I also expected this to sit on my face for a long time because it contains petroleum, but to my surprise, it absorbs pretty well and I love that because it won;t feel uncomfortable on my face. Will repurchase for sure, and is a great buy for dry and sensitive skin!

I like this product very much. Dry winter air and a sauna visit had really dried out my skin (I normally have combination skin) and my usual skincare routine just didn't cut it anymore. After reading raving reviews I bought the Cetaphil moisturizing cream at a local drug store. It's packaged in a tube instead of a jar. It spreads out easy, feels soft to the touch and sinks in pretty good. It leaves a bit of greasy feel if you use too much, but if you have dried out skin like I had that's not even a bad thing.
I used the Cetaphil cream plus Lanette cream for three days and nights (at night I also added vaseline on the really dry areas) and my dry skin is cured! As an added bonus it also gave me very soft hands :)
Now my skin is back to normal I find that the Cetaphil cream is a bit too greasy for my T-zone, so I only use it on my cheeks (I first put Lanette cream on my entire face and then add a thin layer of Cetaphil to my cheeks).
A word of caution: it's _very_ important to clean your skin at least once a day with a mild cleanser even if you have dried out skin or you will break out. Not because of the Cetaphil cream but because of all the dead skin cells clogging your pores.

I love this stuff as a body moisturizer and only a body moisturizer. I have dry skin consistently year-round and this moisturizer really gives my skin a glowing appearance. I do not use this on my face because it feels very tight, itchy, and most of all breaks my face out. As a body a moisturizer i really love it and it starts working instantly.

Great moisturizer. Dont be fooled by the label which suggests 'for dry to sensitive skin' I have oily and sensitive skin and it works fine on me, dosent make me break out and it isnt too rich. I put it on just before bed as a nighttime moisturizer and my skin feels soft and supple in the morning. Everyone has to try this :)

this product is something that i purchased due to rave reviews on you tube. however, after several applications i have discontinued use due to the unnatural and synthetic ingredients. the cream is a beautiful texture and doesnt smell bad at all, but overall, i just cant get over applying chemicals to my face everyday. for that reason, im out !! if you dont want to waste the product, im sure it would make a good foot cream.

I love this stuff for my daily body moisturizer (I've never used it on my face and probably won't since I need to use lotion with SPF). I use it about 2 minutes after I get out of the shower in the morning. It's really nice - my skin is soft and smooth. I love that it's unscented so it doesn't clash with any perfume I'm wearing.I actually really like using products in a tub, and just scoop some out for each body part. I got a 2-for-1 deal at Duane Reade and just finished the first tub. I will absolutely continue to repurchase.

I find it strange that the public prefers this cream to Cetaphil's lotion. I purchased the cream this winter as my skin was extra dry this year, and although like the lotion the cream moisturizes well and feels good, it seems to dry out quicker than the lotion for some reason on my skin, and like all products that are petrolatum-based, if I use it too often, my skin feels a bit crepe-like and loose. I really should have checked the label before purchasing as I assumed because the lotion doesn't contain petrolatum, the cream wouldn't either. I'm giving the product a low 3 as it is the best petrolatum cream I've ever tried by far.

This product is great for very dry sensitive skin. It cleared up flakey spots I had on my face. I wouldn't use it every single day though. Only when I need it, and in small amounts. A little goes a long way. I used to use it every day and kind of a lot, and it just built up a film on my face. If you don't use too much, it will make your face really soft.
Really cheap at Walmart, a lot for the price.
Packaging sucks though. I use q-tips to get it out of the jar because I don't want to stick my fingers in it every time and leave small particles in it to build up. Yuck.

I love this moisturizer! I've tried so many for my dry face. I put this moisturizer in a squeezable tube to get the right amount out so I don't put to much on and make my face greasy. I use to be so embarrassed of my dry skin especially after putting makeup on but not anymore.

Orgh, I just loooove love love this. It moisturize so good, but dries so fast and it doesn't make your face oily!
- But i'm not gonna repurchase this, because I can't buy it in the stores where I live. And I don't wanna spend so much on it on ebay again.
But I recommend this!!

I purchased this because I was looking for a moisturizer that would actually moisturize my skin because at the time I started using benzoyl peroxide (back in Jan 2012) that dried my skin out. This moisturizer really moisturized my skin! I dont use bp anymore, so I dont use this moisturizer as often as I use to. But when I did, it made my skin soft and subtle.
I also had an issue one time when I kept exfoliating my skin to the point where if I didn't exfoliate it it would keep flaking. (This was after I stopped using bp for a few weeks) I started to use this moisturizer again and it helped my skin become soft again, and I didn't need to exfoliate so much anymore!
It is pretty heavy so I only use it when I really need moisture. I like that its good for sensitive skin, I have no issues with irritation or breaking out with this product.
I currently use this for my under eyes because I had an issue with dryness there and when I would apply makeup on my under eyes it looked really dry and bad. Now when I apply makeup there it applies on smoothly. I use it both day and night.
Overall, I like this moisturizer, it really moisturizes and its gentle and non-irritating. I would recommend this if you're looking for a good basic moisturizer that doesn't irritate the skin that is very affordable.

I adore this product! I use it in the winter because I also use the facial medication epiduo which can tend to dry out the skin. I find it to be extremely gentle on my skin, and incredibly moisturizing. I wouldn't use this on my skin in the summer however because I have combination skin and the added moisture can make my skin oily in the hotter months. But for winter use this product is amazing! My skin tends to get flaky, but this product completely got rid of that and I haven't had a problem with it since. Thanks, Cetaphil!

I bought this based on a product review I saw on Jezebel.com. I love this stuff.
Pros: It works well, absorbs quickly, and keeps my skin moisturized for much longer than most drugstore lotions. It's pretty cheap for the amount you get, especially since it feels comparable to fancier non-drugstore body butters. It also has a strange non-scent which dissipates quickly upon application, but which I happen to like.
Cons:I'm taking off a point because it has a bunch of preservatives, alcohol, and a very synthetic ingredients list in general (although it does randomly contain sweet almond oil among all those chemicals). Also, my generally clear skin tends to start breaking out a little after a few days of using this on my face.

I LOVE CETAPHIL!! My skin is dry, acne prone, blackheads galore!! BUT Cetaphil dosen't have a facial mosturiser or like one in a small bottle, so i purchased this, I couldnt use it on my face! too rich and thick. I applied it at night and woke up with oily skin with pimples :( but i love the Cetaphil gentle wash!!

Great Product Too Pricy. I like the Cetaphil it works great on my skin especially with my eczema, but the price is too much compared to other great products. It is great for eczema though because it's not scented nor does it have any harsh dyes or chemicals. I totally recommend it if you don't mind spending a little extra.
