This is my absolute favorite cleanser of all time! I have been using it for over 6 years now! I started using it when i was 19 (it was my mum's) and i liked it, but got caught up as a product junkie and tried many others, but nothing works as well, so i've always come back to it. Been using it continuously for about two years now and it works wonderfully. The smell is nice and it works brilliantly with my olay cleansing brush at night to remove all traces of my makeup.

The first thing I noticed was the smell. It reminds me of the avon perfumes, but I like scented stuff. When it comes to face wash, I know what I like. I like scrub, tingle, and that clean feeling. This gave me none of that. I am using it as part of the entire Anew system, so hopefully I'll see results. But as far as this product alone, I'll stick with my apricot scrub and Noxema.

I was already using the PM moisturizer and the Sapphire Emulsion from the Rejuventate line and was curious as to how well the cleanser would work. My skin is okay with few lines, only slightly oily on my nose and I'm not overly sensitive to most skin care products. I ordered the 2 week trial size of the cleanser and hoped for the best.
I really like this cleanser. It doesn't dry my face out, takes care of the oiliness and smells quite nice. The little blue beads take awhile to break up but not long, especially when I use this cleanser with my Olay skin brush. It's a bit pricey at $10 but Avon runs sales and specials all the time and I've been able to pick it up for around $5 a tube.

This is a fantastic light cleanser that doesn't dry out my already dry skin. I use it in the morning & after removing makeup, to cleanse my skin a 2nd time. The scent is lovely and the spheres - there aren't many at all - seem to be moisturizing (you do have to firmly massage them to break them down). Regularly $16CDN but usually on sale, Definitely re-purchase.

I've used this for a least two months now to give the best review I could, at first quite enjoyed that my skin felt soft however it really dried out my skin terribily. And I have more oily type skin.

This is a tentative review which I will update later in the week.
I bought this and have used it twice so far. Now considering I normally use Clinique face soap, and have done for over 7 years, switching to this was scary. A lot of products break me out and give me painful cystic acne or a red tight skin issue! Anyhow, upon using this I initially love it, but realised you don't need a lot for a good wash! A small 5p sized amount is enough. It lathers up nicely and feels very soft and gentle on the skin but also like its cleaning really nicely! My skin felt soft, smooth, clean with an almost tingly sensation after using this! I used this last night and again this morning, and touch wood, my skin is ok, but obv it'll take more than 12 hours to have a reaction. More like 3 days for me! So I will update again on Friday.
So far I love it!

I use this cleanser to wash my face in the mornings. It leaves my face so soft. I also use this cleanser with the clearskin pore penetrating face scrub at least 3 times a week and it leaves my face so soft and fresh. I really like this cleanser, its not watery like other Avon cleansers I've tried and it actually seems to work. The scent is nice nothing too strong.

A great refreshing cleanser. The little spheres are useless so best to ignore them. The cleanser has a light fresh scent, lathers well, and I find it does remove makeup quite well. A little of this cleanser goes a long way, so this is a bargain, especially when you get it on sale.

Avon's rejuevenate line is my favorites. While I'm still experimenting with cleansers I find that I always resort to using this because it works so well. It also tones so that cuts my routine time which is a plus. The beads are kind of annoying but I'm thinking that's where they store the toner? Anywho, I make sure to wet my face, pour about a quarter size in my palm, and rub my palms vigorously to get the product to lather. It's not going to lather up like crazy being that its a gel cleanser w/toner. I tested it several times by swiping my face with witch hazel after use and no traces of makeup remained. I do wish it had some exfoliating properties but I can just use my face brush for that.

I've tried just about every cleanser I can afford, and this is it. This is the one. I have combination acne-prone skin. With the right products and effort, my skin can look great. In an attempt to save some cash I tried some Olay products (big mistake) and broke out like crazy-- big, nasty acne that tended towards being cystic. I stopped everything I had been doing and decided to experiment with this cleanser and simple tea tree oil on the break outs. Everything started to clear up, almost over night. I know that the tea tree oil isn't the sole cause of the improvement, because I've used only that for break outs for a while. So... this stuff cleared my face, almost single handedly.
So, I give up. This is my cleanser now. I guess I won't be using anything else... because nothing else I've used works as well. It's really not that expensive, can usually be had on sale, and it works. What more can I ask for?

This anew cleanser works pretty good, it deeply removes dirty, oil, makeup leaving a soft and freshly cleansed my skin. It's not harsh or feeling dull on my skin, my only regret is that I don't like that blue tiny balls coming with the gel; at least for me they're useless! But the gel consistency is really good, I only need a dab small amount for my entyre face and neck, it'll last forever the 125ml tube. Anew skin care it's a really good line, Will buy it again!

love this cleanser for my sensitive/combo/adult acne but aging skin... it's been great and I notice if I use another cleanser. I will not be changing cleansers unless they dc'd this one

I have been using this for over a year, the odd time I would try some other cleanser but within days would go back to using this cleanser. It cleans my skin nicely, helps to minimize my pores and just generally leaves my skin looking healthy. I will continue to keep this cleanser on hand.

Wow I can't believe the poor ratings. I love this stuff. I rub it on my crows feel and big pores, leave on for a minute and rinse off. Voila! It's like an automatic toner, fine line reducer. It makes my skin look ready for the day. I have oily, mid thirties getting wrinkly, discolored big pored skin. This cleanser totally refines my skin and gets it looking nice. I notice a big difference with my crows feet when I don't use this.

This is a poor, poor replacement for the Anew Retroactive+ 2in1 cleanser that Avon discontinued for no good reason. I hoped it would be the same thing renamed and repackaged, but I was sadly disappointed. This cleanser is like the other in that it has beads suspended in a mostly clear gel cleanser. But the scent is very strong, the cleanser is mediocre, and my skin is no better for it. Retroactive+ actually stabilized my combination/oily skin, and kept me from getting the occasional pimple. Rejuvinate has dried my skin out, and I believe it's the cause of the small whiteheads along my jawline. I will not be repurchasing this product, though I hope to see the previous cleanser pop up in the sales catalogs.

I threw my second tube out. At first, it did a great job with the blackheads in my t-zone, then it just dried the crap out of the rest of my face.
I switched to DHC Q10 to help with the aged look I now have thanks to this anti-aging line. LOL!

This is a nice basic cleanser for oil or combo skin. It's gentle in that it doesn't feel like you have stripped the heck out of your skin, but it does leave a tight feeling. I recommend using a moisturizer with this. (I use and love the Anew rejuvenate Night Cream and eye cream!) It's a gel cleanser with low foaming action and it cleans well, leaves my skin feeling slightly cool and fresh, but nothing extreme. There are a few sparse beads that randomly come out of the tube. The seem pretty pointless but apparently they contain special ingredients and should be burst as the cleanser is being lathered. The only thing I don't like is that this has a very strong fragrance. It's the same fragrance that's in the day and night creams but for some reason the cleanser has an especially strong dose of it that is rather overwhelming. It does linger faintly, so be prepared for that. Because I like the cleanser so much, I put up with the fragrance, and will look past it, but still hope that Avon decides to make it fragrance free in the near future.

I quite like this product as a face cleanser.
It doesn't dry out my skin.
There is a great toning effect and it tightens my pores.
Works really well and removes all traces of makeup.
The beads are useless, your lucky to get even one out the tube and they don't dissolve into your skin.
I don't mind the smell and it disappears fairly quickly.
I don't know if I would purchase this individually but part of a package deal its great.

I feel very "meh" about this cleanser. It does wash off makeup and it leaves my face clean, but the smell is TERRIBLE. Why on earth a face wash needs to be so heavily perfumed is beyond me. It really isn't necessary. Also, the directions say, "massage over skin until beads dissolve." There are so few beads, and they are so slippery, that it's pretty much impossible to put enough friction on them to make them dissolve.
The fragrance of this is very off-putting. I would not repurchase it unless an unscented version comes out. I'm sure there are better cleansers out there.
