I first became interested in this perfume when I hugged one of my friends and noticed her perfume smelled amazing, so I asked her what it was. I picked up a bottle of this for myself recently and I have to say I'm not the biggest fan of the initial whiff you get from it because to me it smells too floral/old lady-ish. However once the top note wears off the jasmine and ylang ylang notes really come through and I find it to be very soft and feminine. Still, I probably wouldn't repurchase this again just because I want my perfumes to smell great through and through, not just after the top note has faded.

It's not bad - it's a lemony citrus scent with a shot of liquorice through it, which gives a depth/warmth it otherwise would not have. I find it pleasant, above average and nice to wear every once in a while.

My mom bought this for herself at a duty free shop and I borrowed it to see what it smelled like.... What I got was a pure green, flowery delicious garden in the middle of spring. I had to have it! I love fresh clean-smelling scents and this is no exception. To me, it smells free and sophisticated at the same time, an awesome thing for an everyday scent ;) though it's not made for the colder months, I'll wear it from time to time then just to remind myself of spring. Also, the price was great! I got the 100 ml bottle for $25. As a final thing, I really really like the bottle, it's modeled after a semi minimalistic slab of pure glass and looks really good on my dresser :)

My brother gave me a sample of this after he went to Macy's, and I hate it. To me, it smells absolutely disgusting. It's a strong, sharp, old lady, chemical type scent. Gross.

I got a large sample of this fragrance and was really surprised at how clean and fresh it was, and how much I liked it! So I finally bought a bottle at a duty free shop and have not regreted it... It is my go-to fragrance for work, and a great base for layering something else over it (such as a pachouli-based fragrance - I like it with a touch of papadescha and Bulgari Femme). I can see the comparison to Cristalle in the top notes, there is some citrusy smell but the comparison ends there for me (I used Cristalle EDP). I have received some good compliments on this smell and it stays on me all day. A good staple or layering piece.

I was at Neiman Marcus and a male model came up and asked if I want to try this. I tried some on and I walked around the store. The fragrance is definitely very jasmine(y). It reminded me of someone that wore a similar fragrance when that I know when I was a child. I did end up buying a bottle. But I have to say, this fragrance does not last very long.

I think of this perfume as an update of vintage green florals and chypres that used to be more popular. The opening has a burst of galbanum that reminds me of Vent Vert, and I can see how others are reminded of Cristalle -- especially the EDP -- in the hyacinth and jasmine. As it dries down, it fades into a soft green jasmine scent. Compared to its older counterparts, this is smoother and mellower, with less character. Anyone who loves those older scents will probably be disappointed. But I'm all for updating those ideas if it means bringing them back into the mainstream in place of super-sweet fruity florals. While not original, it's a very wearable green scent that feels classic but not old-fashioned.

Okay, went to TJ Max and found this box opened, decided to sneak and use it. OH MY GOD...it is the most exhillarating, fresh, but not too sweet fragrance...i walked around the store looking at other stuff, and ...well.......just felt absolutely special and beautiful the whole time. Everything seemed new and crisp. I will go back and buy it once I get paid this weekend.. it was 29.00 at TJ...good price from what I can tell.

I got a sample of this fragrance as GWP and I must say that I quite like it. It's a fresh floral, kind of sporty scent. Maybe more of a spring-summer fragrance. It is not overpowering at all. Fantastic lasting power. I'll definitely consider buying this in full size.

This is a fresh/green fragrance, sometimes it reminds me of Gucci Envy. I like it, reminds me of walking true a forest on a cold winter day. The lasting power is great but it's really a fragrance that you should try before you buy!

I quite like this fragrance, it's very daytime and it kind of sparkles to me, it's a good one when I don't know what to wear. I really like the simple bottle.
Staying power is good for me, I do think it must be a matter of skin chemistry. To me it's a springy floral, I think it's quite beautiful. Just a little rose, a little jasmine, and I'm assuming it's mostly the hyacinth I'm getting most from it.

oh god, i really hated this. I have tried it numerous times to see if i was wrong the first few times, but i wasnt. I think this is less than ordinary. Which is a shame, because my fav male fragrance is Issey Miyake pour homme. Disappointing!

"a scent" is not the simple, fresh, minimalist scent that I was led to believe it was by the name (or lack thereof) and packaging. (For that matter, L'Eau D'Issey itself was pretty powerful, flowery stuff for a perfume that purported to smell of water.) "a scent" is a walloping tropical green floral with a heavy sillage. It seems like something from the 80s; it has the air of strong florals from the era, such as Beautiful. It definitely doesn't smell like Cristalle, as it's lacking the citrusiness and the chypre base notes.

Nice cross between Diorissimo and Estee Lauder Private Collection Jasmine White Moss. In other words, fresh green floral. Not exactly Cristalle since this one has no bite (=bitterness) to speak of. I also smell a hint of anise, just enough to make it Mediterranean, kind of like summer evenings with raki (=ouzo for Greeks). The bottle is very attractive, even more so than the juice. Word of caution: detesters of ozone beware.

This is terribly cheap stuff. Sharp, metallic and soapy, it smells chemical and like the most generic aquatic/soapy scent with a bit of cucumber thrown in for good measure. Smells like there is a high concentration of calone in this one.
