One of my favorite scents but i must say that it can be very strong. I was sold at the Macy's perfume counter when the salesperson sprayed some onto my wrist. It was so long lasting and i was immediately sold. I bought the lotion with the perfume as well and together it smells so great. This fragrance is not particularly light and floral and does not resemble Marc Jabob's fragrance. I'd like to think of Lola as Daisy's older step sister. LOL

This is NOT Daisy! This is nothing even like Daisy--- this is Daisy's ugly, slutty, evil stepsister that moved into the house and is making life Hell!

Very pretty perfume. Love the packaging. I usually hate floral perfumes but this one is an exception for me. Got it at Marshalls like most fragrances since the retail prices are so expensive at macys and sephora.

I smelled this several times in dept stores and always ended up on the fence about it and never bought it. Then I stumbled across the gift set in Marshalls for $25 and thought what the hell. I am SO GLAD I bought it, it's now pretty much my 'signature' nighttime scent. Whenever I wear it people ask what I'm wearing and tell me I smell good.

I have been looking for a new fragrance for myself. After days of searching, I decided on this one. It smells amazing. I would describe it as a sweet and romantic scent, but not too overwhelming. This is perfect for Fall, Winter and maybe even Spring, since this scent is kind of on a warmer side. The lasting power is pretty good, but could be better... If you are thinking about buying a new fragrance, I recommend you taking few trips to the Mall. Test out different ones on your arms. And let them sink in because everyone has different body scent that will create unique scents with various perfumes. Narrow down what you like little by little that way!

When I tried it at Macy's I liked it too much, because it seemed different than others. What I liked about it is that it's not very girly. I like sweet smells, but I also like men's fragrances, this one is a little bit musculin, which I like. When my mom tried it she also asked if its a men's parfume. It is floral, but there is smth in it which makes it a little heavy in a good way. From the fist time it seemed strong to me, overpowering, but with time when it's fades away I start to enjoy it.There are also days when I don't like it. I stopped wearing it for almost a year, but now again started to wear, but not everyday. The staying power is excellent.
This fragrance is not for somebody who likes sweet girly parfumes
I would actually say its unisex.
This is How they describe it: Pink peppercorn, pear and rubby red grapefruit . Mid notes of Rose, fuschia peony and geranium.Vanilla, warm tonka bean and creamy musk.
The bottle comes with a big flower top, which seemed cute to me for the first time, later it seemed a little cheap.
Who wants to buy it, check your Marshal stores. They sell a set for 49.99$, I saw it today.
I am not going to buy it again because I still have half a bottle and get tied of the same fragrance really quickly.

The bottle, some think it's lovely some think its tacky, I like like it but it's not what will make me decide to buy a fragrance or not it's what is inside that bottle.
For me where I live this is a winter fragrance for me or maybe a night out in the warmer months. In winter 90% of the time if not more I will have this on, I love the floral notes in this, the rose and peony stand out along with the musk and pink peppercorns on me, I don't smell the vanilla at all. This is a winter love for me and I will be getting another bottle of this when I run out.

This perfume is anything but ordinary. Its very floral, but still sexy. And I absolutely love it. But of course I only paid 25 for the 3.4 oz. Budget Queen <3

On my skin it starts out with a soft rose note, distinctive pink peppercorn and geranium. It's not bad during the first 5 minutes. I like it during this phase.

After the top notes dry down on my skin, it smells like plastic burning.

So, needless to say this one is a no-go on my skin.

This is a lovely fragrance. However, it's not one that I see myself on a daily basis and it's far from being a signature scent. I like it on my skin and I can smell that beautiful musky kick it has. I think this fragrance (depending on the person's body chemistry) is a scent that one can wear either casual or occasionally, I choose to wear it occasionally. The bottle is gorgeous it adds so much character and compliments all the higher end perfumes I have.

At first spray it feels very strong for maybe the next thirty minutes which I don't mind, and then the scent gets lighter. The scent has AMAZING base notes, there a little bit of everything and they seem to compliment each other. Theres a little bit of vanilla here, and there a little grapefruit there. Everything as the other reviews have described. The lasting power is better than most perfumes I wear.

You have to be lucky to be able to pull of this fragrance though. It's distinctive, and I don't see just anyone pulling this off.

All in all, this is a nice scent, but not exactly the best, and just past mediocre for my taste. So, no I wouldn't buy this again, there are so many other perfumes I adore more than this one, and I'm not sure this is one I can pull off.

Me and my mum bought this together, she had a gift voucher from a friend and i was helping her chose. It was between this and daisy and on the spur of the moment she chose to get lola.

I will update my review when I get the chance to wear it myself but on my mum its very strong. I can definitly smell it everywhere she has been - it just lingers in the air (even if she's not in the room), almost ike she leaves a trail of lola where ever she goes. I can smell this it from about 3 meters away and still goes strong even at the end of the day! Its not a bad scent just veeeery prominent. Though been reading that some don't find it to have great lasting power, so would say that maybe this perfume massively depends on the person?

The scent is very pleasant though, very flowery and sensual. A really nice smell, I would use it for night as its quite girly and sexy. As I said I will edit soon. :)

I find this perfume very ordinary. To me it's a pretty basic fruity floral and even though I wear it all the time (trying to use up a bottle!) I doubt if I'd actually recognise it on someone else. I love the bottle, but that can only take you so far!

Oh, the perfumista in me should be ashamed. But sadly, I'm not. I WANTED THE TACKY, TRAGIC BOTTLE! And it's just a fruity floral that dries down to sugar water. The top is a bit harsh - screechy citrus which I assume is the grapefruit (oh, YSL Babydoll does grapefruit *so* much better!). The middle period is yummy-scrummy. The dry down is pretty much the dry down of 2000-billion-gadzillion other fruity florals.

If you compare this to a real perfume (classic Guerlains, Carons, Chanels)....well, it'd be like comparing some ridiculous modern-young-person's- horror-movie-rubbish to the works of Body Horror Auteur, David Cronenberg. But when you've watched all your classic Cronenberg DVDs back-to-back (and there is no more James Woods pulling a gun from his body cavity, no more women with mutant reproductive systems and identical twin gynaecologist brothers played by Jeremy Irons, no more sex-zombies)...you reach for that film about young people going on holiday to Hawaii only to die at the hands of brutal, meth addicted serial killers, which your husband bought for you on BluRay because it mightn't be directed by Cronenberg and Timothy Olyphant mightn't be Christian Bale -- but he gets his shirt off (nice!) and people die (even better!).

Ahem...the official notes are: pink peppercorn, pear d’anjou, ruby red grapefruit, fuchsia peony, rose, geranium, vanilla, tonka bean and creamy musk. It's really not that important. It's a 'cheap-thrill' type scent. I get a similar emotional experience from J Lo Live, which incidentally is a Ropion.

I know -- I've lost all credibility. I am no longer one of you. But, y'know, it's cute, fun and 50ml set me back less than £25 in the sales. Result!

PS: Oh the humanity, I rated the packaging quality 5 out of 5.

UPDATE: Jan 9 2012. Dropped the rating to 1 lippie. Yeah. I can't cope with the dullness. My Guerlains are ashamed of me for thinking it could work. Even JLo Live won't look me in the eye. When I found myself thinking - 'Maybe Oh, Lola! is better?', I ran out of the mall.

Lola just does not work with my body chemistry. On my skin Lola smells of sickly sweet acetone. To bad for me. On my bestie it smells like a creamy, sweet (fruit) musk. Delicious and intoxicating. I like the over the top bottle. Try before you buy!

I think this is a great fragrance. My hubby likes Daisy Eau So Fresh better, but not me. So far, this is my favorite out of the rollerball trio. I always buy the EDP because it typically lasts much longer. Anyway, Lola is a beautiful fragrance. I'm not going to list the notes, but one thing I did realize is that it smells like a milder version of Armani Mania which I wore for years. Mania is super strong and powerful, and I can't wear it anywhere near my face (Now that it's about 10 years old, I can finally breathe easier.). In fact, it goes behind my knees. But, Lola is mild enough I can put on my pulse points and don't get a headache. It really is a well balanced fragrance with soft florals and light spice. I enjoy it a lot.

My friend wears this & it gives me an instant headache! I don't have the heart to tell her how awful & potent this scent is. The bottle is outrageous, I suppose it would look alright on a drag queens dresser.

This perfume is a bombshell, no other way to put it. When it first came out, I was mesmerized by the gorgeous bottle, but being in 14, I thought the fragrance was too strong for me. And I was right, I think. I'm 17 now, and Lola, although definitely my signature, is not my every day scent. This is for the days when I'm wearing my black lace dresses or my leopard print pencil skirt. With Lola by my side, I feel empowered and confident.
Lola is one of the very few heavy floral fragrances I own. It's heavy and decadent with layers of gorgeous florals that bloom repeatedly throughout the day. There is the slightest zing of fruitiness and a touch of earthiness which ties everything together.
I'm not telling you the notes mostly because I can't distinguish all the notes, which I think is a sign of a well made perfume. I don't want somebody to tell me I smell like peonies or roses, I want people to tell me I smell like a garden or like "heaven." And they do quite often.
I own the limited edition velvet version with the matte bottle and every time I look at my vanity, I smile at its beauty.
I spritz half a pump in my hair and neck and a single pump on my wrists and cleavage and it lasts me from when I get ready for school(8) to when I get back home from work or extra cirriculars(6-9) and the drydown is a soft, lingering musk of florals that I want to smell forever. Lasting power is great, bottle is great, price is right(I've had my bottle for a month and it is still full), and the fragrance is to die for. My perfect perfume!
