Lash Lifting Mascara doesn't do a thing and barely looks like it goes on. I bought this and the "Clear Brow Gel" as a mini 2-pack from sephora.com and both products are terrible. Once the brow gel dries it flakes and makes my brows look like they have dandruff.

I won't but these or any other Anastasia of Beverly Hills products again.

Yuck, this mascara sucks. I tried the sample a couple of times, and it flakes, weighs my lashes down and to top it off it is a nightmare to remove. Stay away from this one!

This one was in my November Birchbox. And of course it was black. I rolled my eyes, and then figured, eh, what the heck, I can at least try it. If I like it, I can see if it comes in other colors. It's not a bad mascara; it's just nothing to write home about. It goes on smoothly, doesn't make my lashes hard or crunchy, and for the most part comes off with soap or DHC Deep Cleansing Oil and water. However, it doesn't come off completely, and that's not acceptable to me. It doesn't seem to make my lashes longer or thicker, just darker. And black is the only color it comes in. So thumbs down, and Anastasia, you of all people should know not every woman needs black mascara. Shame shame.

It goes on great for my long, blond eyelashes and the coverage is there, but after a couple hours I look like a zombie due to flaking! Won't buy this again...still on the hunt for the perfect mascara.

Glad I got this as a sample - I would never purchase it. It flaked right from the first application.

Thank goodness for samples! I can try a product and ditch it after one use without feeling bad.

It seemed fine when I put it on. It was a bit too feathery for my taste but it did an ok job of creating volume. The real problem was when I looked at myself a couple of hours later. Uh oh! Flakes! I hate it when mascara flakes.

This is a no for me.

Meh. I bought a trial-size of this mascara on a discount makeup website, so take that into consideration, but overall I found it to be clumpy, on the dry side, and to have a bit of a solvent-type odor. Not sure what's in this but it seems waxy, too.

Not a cheap brand. I wouldn't switch from Lancome, Chanel or Kevyn Aucoin for this.

Now, on the other hand, I lover her brow powder compact....

I got this as a sample from Sephora. I had this today on one eye and Diorshow on the other. This one gives me a little bit less volume and length but not a very big difference. It gets dry fast though.

I purchased this mascara a couple days ago at Sephora, and I am in love with this. It makes my lashes look fake, but in a good way. It separates wonderfully, and my lashes just have this flared look after I apply it. I didn't have any flaking, clumping, or smearing, just great lashes that looked amazing..... this is definately one of my favorites!

this is a very basic mascara. imparts almost nothing on my own lashes. use only when i wear false lashes as it does not clump and draw attention to the fakes. this just colors and not that extremely either. there is no lengthening or thickening if that is what you are looking for. to give credit though, in my high humidity weather it pretty much stays put.

I am surprised that more women don't like this mascara. I get zero smudging which is a miracle in the summer. Plus it has a nice thickness to the formula without being clunky. It is $22. Not cheap. But one of my top five mascaras.

I got this as a sample from sephora so I figured I would try it, this mascara is definitley on the drier side, i have some what long lashes so it lengthened pretty well, but it was really clumpy probably because it is so drying, didn't thicken well at all, but i liked the brush , it's just an old school spooly brush that combed through the lashes well, it held a curl ok,at least it didn't make my lashes droop, I hate when mascaras do that especially after you've curled your lashes, but anyway I wouldn't reccomend this to anyone especially because of the price, you can find way cheaper options at the drugstore that are 100 times better than this...

You know, I just wasn't thrilled with this. Hasn't smudged or flaked on a very hot day, but I had high expectations given the reviews, but it's nothing special. "And such small portions, too." It's a standard size mascara but doesn't seem to have much product in it. I have also ditched Kevyn Aucoin's makeup (weird flakes!) and Clarins Wonder mascara (gooey).

I had also read somewhere that Kim Kardashian adores this mascara, and her eyes are just amazing, so of course, I had to buy it. Yes, I'm a sucker. HOWEVER- I like this mascara A LOT! I agree with other reviewers here on this- it is a slightly dry formula. It dries quickly. But what would you rather? A dry-ish mascara or a super sloppy wet one that smudges and won't dry quick enough? I'll take the drier one. Its not horrifyingly dry, either, just not sopping wet like others I have tried. I liked this because I could snug the wand close to my upper lashes, like, above the lashes, on top, not underneath, and I could easily sweep upward and curl upward and outward with my lashes almost being coated as they were being combed, you know? I would rotate the wand like this ): ---> and UP, almost like i was combing them upward in a twisting motion, rolling the wand in my hand as I went, like i was curling my hair upward with a round brush, and it glided through my lashes beautifully. It never EVER clumped, even when I was doing this thing I attempted to describe above. Thats what I have to do since I have blonde lashes. If I don't start on top of the lashes and get as close to the root as possible, if you look closely, you can see my blonde roots on my lashes :( Fair ladies, you know what I mean. Anyway, drier as it may be, I loved it. It held a very nice curl, and although not a lot of product comes out onto the wand, it makes for no clumps, and also allows for buildable coverage. You want more drama? Add a coat or two. This mascara is one that can be coated and coated and still not look spidery. I love this mascara. And I only use the best of the best- not to sound snobbish, but you know, Dior, YSL, etc. just for reference :) Just like another reviewer mentioned "The brush was interesting - very densely packed and sort of "grabs" the lashes" which it certainly does. It holds on tight and helps to comb them through and makes them "fan out" very nicely. I think this may be HG for me, but I have about, literally, like 17 other mascaras (Mostly HE and a few drugstore) that I have sitting in a box in my "product" cabinet waiting to be tested out. But seriously, I know this is a LONG review, but I'm not that passionate about much of anything anymore, so yeah. This one is GOOD.

I got a sample tube from Sephora and was hoping to get good results since one of the MUA's said it was a great mascara. When I tried it, it did nothing for my lashes. It probably worked for the MUA since she had super long lashes but it had no effect on my short lashes. Instead I use it to fill in my eyebrows haha. I've had better results using it on my eyebrows than my lashes. Probably won't purchase since it's $22 and I can probably find something just as good to fill my brows in with.

I wanted so much to like this mascara but it did nothing for me. At first I thought sephora had sent me an empty tube because nothing would come out on the wand. Then I applied it to my upper lash and realize thats how this macarsa is formulated. A tad to dry for my liking this mascara is to hurt to work with,I'm back to lancome hynose my all time favorite mascara in which I pledged I will never part with again. I wouldn't give this masacra to my worst enemy.

Ugh. Like the previous reviewer, I'd read that Kim Kardashian used this, so I thought that I'd give it a whirl. Not that I'm starting wih much to begin with (short and sparse lashes are what I was blessed with), but this mascara kinda sucked. The brush was interesting - very densely packed and sort of "grabs" the lashes, but the formula is terrible. It didn't hold my curl and made my lashes hang like awnings, it clumped, and worst of all, it left little black specks all over my face! For $22 I can definitely do better!

I had high hopes for this mascara as I read that this is what Kim Kardashian uses. (Silly me, she probably has lush lashes naturally!) Unfortunately, this mascara did nothing for my short, thin Asian lashes. I did not notice much of a difference in the thickness or the length of my lashes after using this. Also, my lashes fell flat and stick straight after using this mascara, despite its claims to curl and lift lashes. I returned this mascara back to Sephora. Very disappointing, would not recommend.

This review is based on the sample mascara from Sephora as well.

I really wanted to like this mascara, but I just couldn't do it. It does the minimum basics of mascara...thickening of lashes...but that's about it. It didn't even hold my curls. There's nothing particularly about this mascara and I definitely think it's overpriced.

I tried this as a sample from Sephora and I LOVED it!
I haven't bought the full size just yet, but so far it is top best. Without primer (I use Tarte) it made my lashes thick and appeared fake. I have very long lashes already so I look for strictly volume, and I loved this!
Holy Grail material right here, but I am still a mascara junkie and need to try them all before I commit...
