Holy goodness I can't believe the staying power on this stain! It is because of it's intensity I will not use it on my cheeks, ever. However on my lips? Heck yes! It stays on like a hot darn even after drinking coffee, eating lunch, talking all day and snacking. Melts right into your lips and feels like you have nothing on. Bought this in Passion Fruit Crush, and love the bright beaming red that it gives off. Must buy for lip stain lovers!!

I really truly wanted to love this product with all my heart but I couldn't! It didn't last very long and it was the wrong color. It does last better than some lipstains but there are better ones out there. As wtih all lipstains it is dry, so you do need to layer a libpalm on top and have smooth lips prior to applying the lipstain (suggestion: mac lip conditioner). The color is salmon-pink. It looks more pink than orange. I really wanted orangey/peach ...and this is not it (if you are looking for this color try stanianc lip and cheek stain or make your own out of food dye works great!). It is a very pretty color but it can look to bright and unnatural on me even with my dark olive skin. It also has a ton of shimmer on it by putting on lipbalm tones it down and the shimmers do eventually disappear. Make sure you always have lip balm on your lips because I found that if you didn't the color ends up looking splotchy and uneven. Perhaps liner would also help. I purchased this product two times because I really wanted to love it but sadly this is a no no product for me. For others it would suit very well. Perhaps red heads and people who want a pop of color. It's a pretty summer color. I did try it on the cheeks but it ended up looking too shimmery ...perhaps I did not apply it right? I imagine it can look very pretty on anyone's cheek.

This is NOT a stain. That's mostly why I'm giving it a negative review. The color is nice, albeit slightly frosty, but it's not a stain that soaks in and stains your lips- it's more like a film that sets on top of your lips (exactly like Revlon Color Stay, which I detest). I only used it on my lips; I can't imagine what this would look like on my cheeks. This does not give a natural color- it looks like I'm wearing lipstick, which would be fine if that's what I wanted, but it's too heavy for a summer look for me. Staying power is not too impressive either. Half an hour after application I took a drink of water and had enough loss that I had to reapply. It's way too expensive for me to keep since I'm just not happy with it. First time using Stila cosmetics and I'm not impressed.
Will go back to using Benetint.

Another beautiful stain!! I have only tried this on my cheeks, the staying power there is amazing-It lasts all day:) The color is a pigmented shimmery coral-I love layering Nars Orgasm on top of this. 2.4 g of product is pretty stingy for the price, but a little goes a long way. One of my favorite stain colors from Stila!!

I love and am absolutely in love with this product. I only use it on my cheeks and it lasts ALL day. I'm on my third tube already. I only wear this when i dont wear foundation which is about 4 times a week. And honeslty I dont know how to explain it maybe I have good skin (i certianly dont think so) but Everyone always compliments my skin more when i wear this and no foundation. Ive tried the other colors Cherry and pomegranate but i do not like those on my cheeks I find them too watery, better for lip stain. But Mango IS my absolute favorite i hope they never discontinue this product!

It's a very pretty color as a swatch on my skin/hand but I didn't like how the shimmer sat on my lips. My lips has been dry lately and no amount of chapstick/lip balm could keep up with it. So, this stain just stained the dry flakes. Ick!
I like the idea of the click pen but not so much the execution. It was hard to tell how many clicks I had to turn in order to get any product out. (It took quite a lot of clicks, too.)
I bought Stila's A Couple of Crushes so I also had Pomegranate to compare this with. I much prefer the pomegranate on my lips. And, it's definitely easier to blend than Benetint or the drugstore, Revlon Just Bitten, brand. It's a gel so it gives you a bit more time to blend it in.
[FYI, I'm using these stains as a lip stain.]

PROS: Stayed on pretty well.
CONS: Started off too frosty for me. Color was actually a bit too muted compared to the packaging and for something called Mango. Very watery consistency made it hard to apply. Doesn't last that long for a stain.
ALTERNATES: For HE, try Laura Mercier instead. For DS, try Revlon's Colorstay Soft and Smooth Lipstick.

At first, the cheek stain part confused me. But then I saw how they used it on Stila's Beautytube videos. Very innovative and smells great!

This is a shimmery coral shade. The shimmer is actually very subtle. It is sheer but can be build up. I love the bright coral shade. It is definitely more coral than Bobbi Brown's Calypso Coral which I own. It lasts pretty well. Up to 6 hours of wear. I did not have to layer it with powder blush neither did I need to reapply after a few hours. I think this is suitable for ladies who do not have oily skin issues. I don't think it's quite hygenic or good for your skin in you used this applicator directly on your lips and then used it on your cheeks. Perhaps it would be better to leave the product on the palms of your hands and use your fingers to apply instead.
As a lip stain, it left a very nice coral colour which I then topped off with my YSL Gloss Volupte in Iced Lychee. Great combination IMHO.
I'm not in love with the click pen though. At the beginning, I had to twist it a good number of times before anything came out. When it did quite a lot came out. But after the initial problem it was okay.

I LOVE this color on me. It is beautiful on my pale skin. My only problem with this is that i get it all over my hands and fingers and can't get it off ;x Looks great on my cheeks and my lips

Product - Liquid/crème/gel blush in a shimmery coral - not too red, not too peachy/orange; not too bright/vivid, and not too pale. The shimmer is particularly nice - it's ultrafine and not gaudy, and gives off a nice sheen. About moderate coverage and not too sheer. On lips, it stains and lasts relatively well. As a blush the shimmer is not as noticeable. I dab the blob on the brush tip onto my fingertips then apply; you have to work quickly before it sets, and you have to scrub your fingertips afterwards because it really does stain!
Comparisons - Most similar to Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Lipcolor in Top Notch Tulip but sheerer. Deeper and with more orange in it than NARS creme blush in Cactus Flower and Smashbox Skin Tint in Heat. Deeper and more reddish than Ulta Sheer Lipstick in Sheer Melon.
Packaging - Clickpen applicator with brush tip - twisting the base makes it click and pushes product to the tip. And oftentimes the product blobs out the side moreso than the tip. Opaque body - which makes it all the more annoying the first time you use it, because you have no idea how much you need to click/twist to get the first drop out. This kind of packaging is great for lip products, but not so great for blushes.
Overall - Love this wonderful summery shade on me (AAB/NC25).

This is more of a lip gloss than a stain (cheek or lips). The color is beautiful, I must admit, however it does have a lot of shimmer to it, I can't see myself using this on my cheeks. For a stain, it does not last that long. Also, the product smells like whiskey, which I dislike when applying, but the scent fades quickly.

I really, really wanted to like Mango Lip & Cheek stain. Unfortunately, I hated it. It's nothing like the Cherry or Pomegranate lip & cheek stains: the Cherry and Pomegranate are gel-like and the Mango is a cream; Cherry and Pomegranate are translucent and the Mango is opaque; Mango has frost and the Cherry and Pomegranate are just their true shades; and the packaging for Mango is a wider plastic case, which feels cheap in comparison to the sleek metal for Cherry and Pomegranate.
But even when not comparing it to the other shades, I still didn't find anything I liked about it. The frost is very noticeable. Other people have remarked it faded after a while; it only faded a little bit on me and frost was visible all day. It had a very 80's look on my fair skin (and not in a good, 80's-comeback kind of way). It's also more like a lip gloss than a stain and I don't think the color is any different than other mango/coral shades you can find elsewhere with better formulations.

I love, love love this as a blush. I only need one or two clicks of the pen for each cheek as this is pretty pigmented and a little goes a long way, particularly for fair-skinned people like me. Colorwise this is a lovely pinkish coral with a bit of pearly shimmer, although on cheeks it just shows up as a soft glow. It's basically a muted, much more subtle, slightly warmer version of Nars Cactus Flower (I swatched them side by side.) And it's so easy to apply. I was a little worried because some stains (like Benefit's Benetint) can look blotchy no matter how much I blend, but this went on perfectly. I just dabbed a little on and blended with my fingers. While I like the color on lips the pearl finish looks odd on me - it's a tad frosty, which I wasn't crazy about so that's why I'm giving this a four out of five. Still, it's a beautiful color and wears really well on lips and cheeks, even on my very oily skin. Now I want to try Cherry and Pomegranate!

I bought this for use on cheeks. Looks lovely on my yellow-olive skin. The stain is non-irritating and does not cause breakouts. It's emollient enough to blend without working like a mad woman, but it's not at all oily. Mango Crush does not settle into pores and lasts well on my skin. Also, the shimmer is barely noticeable when blended out. This is the color I've been waiting for. I did not like the previous colors, neither Cherry nor Pomegranate.

This is a review for the stila Mango Crush lip and cheek stain that was released with the 2009 Indian Summer collection.
I have the other two stila lip and cheek stains (cherry and pomegranate) and the Mango is MUCH more wearable for me. For starters, this has just a touch of pearl, and I find that pearl or shimmer in a lip product helps to camoflage the little lines and wrinkles in my lips. I also just prefer a pearly lip color to something flat. The color is fantastic. It's a bright summery coral that works nicely with all of the neutral eye & cheek makeup that I have in my stash.
The lasting power of this stain is sort of complex. I find that the pearly part of the color doesn't last as long as the coral stain, but it still lasts longer than a lip glaze or a high shine lipstick. It comes in the same click pen as the other stila lip and cheek stains and the stila lip glazes. I like that packaging, others do not.
I haven't tried this as a cheek stain - I'm not really a cheek stain girl because I wear foundation or tinted moisturizer and haven't found cheek stains to go on well over either of those products.
