Nice sheer highlighter when blended on to the skin. I love that it's not sparkly like other highlighters and has a soft sheen to highlight the cheekbones, cupid's bow, along the nose and below the brows.

Just make sure to swirl your brush around to pick up all the colours and tap off any excess - depending on the brush, you can pick up a little too much product!

I think this is becoming one of my new favourite highlighters. I find myself reaching for this more than my various Benefit ones! It is subtle so if you're going for something with more glitz to it, I would skip this. But subtle is exactly what I go for and this gives just the prettiest sheen to brighten up the face! Absolutely adore the slightly pink hues in this as well. As always, NYX is reasonably priced and really performs well. It's worth the addition to anyone's highlighter collection.

I found this product to work very well as a highlighter that is not blingy or sparkly but yet adds glow. Unfortunately I dropped this on the counter and it immediately shattered. I can still somewhat use it but there's been a lot of product loss. This is of course not NYX's fault but my clumsiness - I drop everything. So be careful it breaks easily and I wouldn't travel with it either.

WOOWWW Fantastic highlighter!!! It gives a noticeable yet very natural pearly-glowy-from-within highlight. Finely milled, no chunky shimmer or glitter. It is very shiny so a little goes a long way. It gives a truly visible definition to my cheekbones without anybody can tell I am wearing something. This is cool-toned though. Neutral to slightly warm, or warm-peachy complexion can still wear it. Very yellow toned individual might want another highlighter though (Bourjois one is warm toned and good as well)

I have yellow undertones and like the pinky/lavender hue this highlighter gives my cheeks. I know it sounds like a bad combination but it works for me. Doesn't look natural unless I apply it very lightly but there's no glitter or obvious sparkle, it applies smoothly, and is inexpensive and easily purchased.

I wasn't as impressed with this as I had hoped. It's very natural looking and subtle- too subtle. This barely shows up against my skin. Maybe on slightly more tan skintones this would be nice, but it just doesn't show up on me.

This highlighter is awesome. It gives just the right amount of shimmer for a healthy glowing skin without making the face looks too shimmery. It's value for money because you just need a dab and you good to highlight both of your cheekbones and another ab for forehead, nose bridge and chin. I love this product and will definitely purchase it again.

Amazing stuff. It gives the nicest 'glow' to your skin without being obvious. Not sure if it works on medium/ darker skintones though as it is quite cool-toned
EDIT: I have realised that this looks horrible on me. Whenever I put it on, it just leaves this frosty, lilacy color on my cheekbones which almost looks muddy. I guess it's because although I'm really fair, I have more yellow than pink undertones to my skin.

I previously used a highlighter from Estee Lauder that made me look better, yes, but also made it obvious that I had put in extra effort to look pretty that day. I could only use it for special occasions or those events where being glittery is acceptable. I certainly couldn't look like a pretty disco ball at work, for example.

This highlighter however is effective but SUBTLE. I look better but you wont't be able to tell why. I just do. A light dusting of this on the appropriate areas makes me look like I have chiseled features and flawless skin too! Perfect! I've received compliments such as, "you look like a porcelain doll." Thank you, NYX, for making a good product and for making it cheap, too. I've used up my first purchase and I'm currently halfway through the second. I don't use a lot but I do use it everyday because I can! After all, it's only $6.99.

* Me - NC25-30 (medium-to-light beige with yellow undertones).
* Review - As a makeup highlighter junkie, I am always on the lookout for the next best thing in highlighters. I was intrigued by this highlighter’s mosaic of colors but this was just not suitable for me. It’s very sheer and does not highlight anything. Now, I’m no fan of glitter or shimmer but a good highlighter should impart that youthful-healthy-lit-from-within-glow and this does absolutely nothing for me. Also, if you have olive or yellow-toned skin, it just appears like a white sheen. In addition, the plastic-y fake chemical scent of this product is downright unbearable.
* Cons - Not suitable for olive, yellow undertone or dark tone skin.
* Tip - This may be suitable for lighter, paler skin tones.
* Verdict - I’ll stick with liquid and cream highlighters as those are most flattering on my skin tone and my skin type (normal to dry). I would not repurchase this.

You will either like or dislike this product. If you can tolerate a purple sheen on your cheekbones without any worry, then this is for you. If you are not worried that people will raise their eyebrows and question as to why your face has a pale lilac strip across the 2 sides of your face, then this is for you. The more subtly you apply this highlighter, the safer it is to step out in public, but this then means that this is not a product you can build up or layer.
Because it is a cool purple glow, those cool-toned ladies, this would be more flattering on your skintone than people with yellow, tanned tones.

I give it thumbs up for the way it provides a lovely glow to the skin without looking too glittery or oily. Its shimmer particles are very finely milled...but it's colour base is not to die for. I won't buy again because purple clashes horribly on my yellow face.

I like the effect achieved by mixing several different shades together, and all the NYX mosaic blushes do this. I also have Mosaic blush in both Plummy (a nice basic mauve mix) and Champagne (a shimmery bronzer type), but it was the Highlighter that interested me most. My cheekbones are not very defined, so I swiped this up high on them, creating a C shape around the outside of my eyes. I was nervous that it would be too much and be obvious, but the result was very subtle. It caught the light as I moved and gave the illusion of much sharper bone structure. I found I could be much more liberal with my application and it never seemed to look artificial. I also ran the brush down the bridge of my nose, chin and a little on my forehead. The changed the matte finish of my makeup into a dewy, natural look that seemed as though I wasn't wearing anything at all. Now tell me ladies, is that not the goal of every single one of us? Nobody wants it to be obvious that they're wearing foundation, blush, or powder. This highlighter is very sheer and blends seamlessly. It doesn't wear off, and several people asked me if I had lost weight because my face looked less round than usual. Huzzah!!

There is only one critique I have for the NYX Mosaic powder highlighter, and that is the packaging is in a word, cheap. The clear dome on the lid has a tendency to pop out and it is hard to get it back on straight, so I handle the whole thing with care. This isn't something that would do well in a purse. The $8 price tag makes it inexpensive, but not dirt cheap. It does seem to last because I'm still using the one I got 8 months ago. The highlighter is also too sheer to use on the inner corners of the eyes or as a shadow. But for discreetly highlighting key areas on the face, it was a revelation.

This highlighter looks great on my fair skin. I use it when I want a matte finish. It's a great price and I would definitely repurchase. I bought it on cherryculture when they had a twenty percent off sale because no stores around where I live sell NYX.

I absolutely LOVE this highlighter! I don´t like highlighters which are too shimmery and have glitter particles in it . This highlighter is perfect, because it gives you a quite natural glow( more natural than other highlighters =)), it´s cheap, very pigmented and easy to apply. On my combination skin it doesn´t last all day, but that´s no problem for me.
This highlighter is definitely my all time favourite! ♥ =)

this is a great budget highlighter. gives you a nice dewy look, not too shimmery. gives you that right amount of glow. it stays on for hours considering I have oily skin and I live in a country where it's hot all year round lol. looks good both in person and in pictures. for the price and the quality this is definitely a winner! I have yet to find a better highlighter if there's any ;)

Ever since I bought this product for 2 months ago, I have not used ANY of my other highlighters. No glitter, just a nice glowy shine. I love it! Not to frosty either, so you can use it on your cheekbones, cupidsbow, browbone, etc. Such an amazing product. And the price.. My Mac msf that are quite expensive compared to this, does not give the same glowy effect. Will def buy this again when i run out ;)

I saw somewhere that this was a dupe for MAC's Lightscapade so I decided to try it. Well, I thought I was impressed with Lightscapade until I tried this! It is IDENTICAL to Lightscapade in color on me and the finish is less shimmery (which I prefer); the texture is softer and more blendable. I didn't want to use my Lightscapade because of the fear of it never being re-promoted and I would never pay $100 for one. So it just sat in my collection. After I tried this, I gave up the Lightscapade and feel great for doing so. Why have something in your collection that you just look at?? Seriously, I'll never look back. The texture of this $6 highlighter is superior in every way to Lightscapade and not even a smidgen of the cost. HG forever!

Satin, almost matte highlighter. Looks like white. Blends easily. I like using it on my nose bridge, and just a tiny bit on top of my cheekbones, over a small area where I've already used MAC Honey Light highlighter (Sup dawg, I heard you like highlighters, so I put a highlighter on top of your highlighter so you can highlight while you highlight) I think the powder is really "soft", as in, the product is picked up very easily by the brush and after tapping off the excess, there's some loose powder in the pot. I haven't dropped it, but I suspect it would break easily.
One thing that I don't like about this product, is that it smells like baby powder - don't worry, it fades, but still - what up with that?!

I've been looking for an affordable but decent quality highlighter lately. I came across this product on MUA and purchased it because of the great reviews it received. I was kind of excited to try it when I got home, but when I brushed it on my face when I got home, I was actually kind of disappointed. I know that most people liked this product because it's very subtle and it's too sparkly or anything. However, I was actually hoping that it would be a little less subtle and have more color or shimmer in it. I actually prefer the Benefit Moon Beam, High Beam and Girl Meets Pearl products to the NYX Mosaic highlighter.

The reviewer below me described this product best: brilliant! It's so rare to find a quality highlighter that doesn't contain any shimmer - and for $6! Most highlighters draw attention to my imperfect complexion, but this one contains NO glitter or shimmer particles, so I no longer have to worry! Like most NYX products, a little goes a long way, and this will definitely last me forever. Just one swipe on the brush, and it gives my skin a nice, dewy sheen - exactly how a highlighter should! Give this a try and you won't be disappointed!
