I have very dry skin and i absolutely love this. Its not a heavy cream, somewhere in the middle, feels silky and very moisturizing. The scent is really nice and sweet. Absorbs quickly leaving skin feeling smooth.

Does not contain silicon or parabens although fragrance rank pretty high in the ingredient list. The only con is the price, super expensive.

A very generous sample of this body cream was thrown into my bag with my last purchase at Sephora. I expected this cream to smell like brown sugar - that nice, "creme brulee" type smell - but it actually seems to smell a bit more "citrusy". It had a rich, thick texture and soaks in nicely. It's a nice enough body cream but nothing special, especially considering the price. I've had much nicer body creams at much lower prices - some of the richer body butters from The Body Shop and Sephora's Body Butter are just 2 examples. The sample just confirmed for me that this isn't something I would purchase.

This product is the worst smelling cream I have ever used & I haved used many many creams in the past. I agree with other users who say it smells like a combination of Pledge furniture polish & GiGi wax! Really aweful smelling. I would not buy this at any percent off. That said I do LOVE the Fresh Sugar Lip Balm (the lip balm from this line is the best I have ever used)...which is what made me try this cream, not as lucky there.

Unlike many other reviewers, this doesn't turn to lemon Pledge on me. My skin works great with citrusy scents and this one is no different. In fact, I wear it under my fave perfume, Happy, for a great layered scent.

I got this in a package deal from Sephora with Sugar Lip Treatment & a Brown Sugar Lip Scrub for $28, which I thought was a steal...especially considering how much the lip treatment costs alone. I really wasn't all that excited about the body cream, as I am not one to use lotions and was buying just for the deal and the lip treatment.

The scent doesn't last all day on my skin, which is one of my only cons about it. Wish I could trade with some of you for whom it does last. The other con is obviously the price for the regular one by itself. Too much for what is basically just a regular lotion. However, because I like using this so much, I give it 5 lippies.

"Enriched with apricot kernel, sweet almond, evening primrose, and jojoba oils." A very emollient, creamy, lotion rather than typical body cream. It has a silky texture that feels luxurious and a little goes a long way. I love using this as a hand cream because it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin soft without any greasy feel. However, I can't seem to decide whether the scent is a pleasant sugary citrus or a lemon floor cleanser smell. Either way I do enjoy the light fragrance it leaves behind, that lingers on my skin for an hour or so. The retail price is a bit steep at $35 for 6.8oz, but if you go hunting for it on eBay you can get it for much less. Overall, I will enjoy using this up but I probably won't repurchase.

I like the scent, it's a sweet fresh lemon smell. It's so so in the moisturizing area. I like it but I don't like it enough to pay $35 for it. I got it in a fresh set with the lip balm and lip scrub. I'll use it up but will not be repurchasing.

I am in agreement with those who said this product smelled "musty". I usually love the brown sugar products, but something in the cream's fragrance doesn't mesh well with my skin chemistry. It's a shame. I would have given this at least a 4 lippie rating. Fresh discontinued their body butters in the jars, and this product has the same rich, but silky non-sticky feel and has the plus of being packaged in a squeeze tube.

I really liked this! It was light, absorbing, and moisturizing. I know people hate the lemon smell, but honestly, I'd rather smell like fresh lemon than reek of cookies or some shiz they sell at Bath and Body Works! The only problem I saw was the scent was a tad strong for my taste. However, I would buy again.

This is a lovely cream, the scent is not overpowering, it doesn't stay long enough to become annoying!

its moisterising, without being greasy. its a good product, but not something i would recommend over other creams.

I got this as part of a Fresh gift set from Sephora. For $50 (I paid $45) you got the body cream, scrub and a small 10 mL roller ball EDP.
The body cream smells like a lemony brown sugar and I get a "Snapple Iced Tea" note. It is a rich, thick cream but not a butter. I like it - but would not buy it again unless it was a very low price. It is NOT worth $35 on its own.

This is a great body cream and I love the lemony scent! I can't complain about anything but the price...I got it in a set from Sephora, together with the perfume and lip treatment and everything is great and has this beautiful lemon scent, not too overpowering and slightly sweet. I would definitely buy the fragrance again!

This body cream is luxurious and moisturizing, but it is certainly not fantastic enough for a price tag of $35/6.8oz. The cream itself feels very good on my dry skin. However, like many of the other reviews, the scent left something to be desired. I can't recall what the scent reminds me of. Personally I think Lemon Pledge smells better than this lotion. I get the hint of lemon, but the overall effect is just musty to me. Very disappointing.

Luckily it was only a sample I got of this but the smell is terrible! If it wasn't for the smell it could have been a good body cream but I can't deal with lemon scent.

I'm surprised by all the low ratings on this one. I rather like the fragrance--a brown sugar, lemon mix. Aside from a yummy fragrance, it also does a great job moisturizing and feels great on the skin. It does not leave skin greasy; rather skin just drinks it in--so soothing!

This smells EXACTLY like the furniture polish my mother used when I was growing up. ICK. Yeah, it brings back memories...of grumbling and slaving over chores when i wanted to be outside having fun! The last thing I want to smell like is some musty old antique hutch covered in lemon-scented polish.

I got a sample of this from Sephora,so I cannot comment on price or packaging. I've used it for 3 days, and although it's a nice body lotion, the scent is so horrible I cannot get past it. It smells MUSTY. And why is it called brown sugar? It's Lemon. And not a very good one at that.

This is a "meh" for me. I didn't buy it, I got a sample from Sephora, so I can't really comment on the price in consideration of how long it lasts. The price is definitely high for lotion though, so I would only buy it if I absolutely loved the scent. I do not.

Everyone's saying lemon Pledge, but it smells to me exactly like ginger - sort of a spicy citrus. I happen to hate the smell of ginger, but if that's something you like, give it a shot. The consistency is pretty nice, so I can't say it's a bad product, it's just not something I'd ever buy for myself.

I can not recommend this at all. Maybe I got a bad bottle? This smells exactly like melted wax from a line called Gigi Beeswax, sold at Sallys for hair removal. The smell took me back about 20 years to my first job as an esthetican and doing waxing appointments. It even has that 'muslin strip' aroma too! I think the Brown Sugar scrub smells much better, but the lotion here is a big fail for me.

YUM! Fresh is one of my favorite lines in existence. This stuff rocks. Great hydration, rich, but not heavy or greasy. Makes my skin incredibly soft. I get told I smell amazing constantly when I use my Fresh creams.
The scent is definitely not for everyone, I get it. I love it, but if it's not your thing, try the Acai anti aging body cream. Similar consistency, different idea and scent.

I got this as a sample and was shocked at the smell. Its too lemony.
I use it on my dry hands and you have to reapply often for the softness to stay.
I won't buy it.
