It's just OK, not great. I use 3 large egg-sized blobs on shoulder-length hair and just get moderate volume. I was expecting my hair to be BIG.
It also gives your hair a very dry texture when finished.

I don't usually use mousse, but I was eager to find a product to give me some body and volume. This product left grayish residue in my hair, and my boyfriend complained that my usually soft hair felt extremely dry. I prefer the blowdry lotion from the same product line.

I love this mousse. I've tried others that make my hair feel stiff and crunchy, as others have put it. This leaves my hair feeling super soft as if I never put any product in. Besides this, it gives me a ton of volume- even the next day! I will definitely purchase again. =)

For the price, the quality of this mousse is excellent. I'm on my third bottle in a year, it gives good lift and volume even when I don't blow-dry, and unless I get extremely carried away with applying it it never looks greasy or gets crunchy. Doesn't give as much lift at the roots as I'd like. Performance wise I'd give it three lippies but it's so inexpensive I gave it another one based on the low price.

I use this mousse along with the matching shampoo and conditioner and it works well for me. The scent is really nice and it makes my hair smell good all day. It doesn't make my hair crunchy or feel dirty so that's a big plus for me. I hate this packaging though, the little pink spray button broke off and it was so hard to use this. I will repurchase.

Nope - this was a total fail for me - I am so spoiled w/ the sadly d/c David Babaii volcanic sculpting clay. I am getting tired of purchasing on ebay and my stylist has GREAT success using a volumizing mousse on me at my appointments (a Regis product - will be reviewing later) and based on the good reviews here, I thought I'd give this a try...:(
No body, no volume - its like I didn't put any product on my hair at all. Too bad because I usually like TRESemme products. Up for swap.

This foam mousse is amazing! It smells so good and works through hair really well. It leaves my hair soft, not crusty, with lots of body that actually lasts for the day....if it doesn't I just give my head a little flip and I'm good to go (I have very fine hair) :)

This is a fabulous product. I have curly, dry hair and this works miracles. I apply a styling cream first and then add this. It really gives a lot of volume to my flat hair and it really does last all day. My hair is still soft and it gives great definition to my curls. You can't beat it for the price. I'm very impressed with this and I think Tresemme has really upped their game.

I was looking for a mousse that didn't feel heavy on my hair. I use this to curl my hair in with a round brush and it does its job. Also adds a lot of volume. I'm still able to run my fingers through my hair without feeling any product.
I'd buy this again especially for the price.

This is good, volumizing mouse at a very reasonable price. It doesn't work miracles (not that I've ever used a hair product that does), but it adds volume and keeps my part straight. Definitely worth a try.

Great product, I use this every time I wash my hair, and a little bit goes a long way! UPDATE: I dropped two lippies because I feel like the alcohol type/content in this product was drying my hair out too much! I've since switched to Aveda's Phomollient, which is more expensive for sure, but works just as well and is not as damaging.

I am always sad when one of my daily-use products is discontinued, but sometimes it leads to finding something even better as is the case with this mousse! I have fine, thin, pin-straight hair and was previously using TIGI Catwalk. When it was discontinued, I came to MUA and decided to try this mousse based on the ratings. It is FANTASTIC! It provides perfect and long-lasting body and control. After I style my hair I have bouncy, shiny hair and it does not weigh my hair down at all, nor make it feel greasy. And all of this greatness at one-third of the price of what I had been paying for the Catwalk mousse!

Just awful! I am spoiled rotten by Wen Syling Cream. Tried this dog mousse after reading these reviews. I don't understand how anyone could actually think this does anything good. It made my hair dry, dull,
tangled, strawlike and even the color is duller. It adds absolutely zero body or shine. I had gorgeous hair until I put this on. The Wen was making my hair soft, shiney, smooth, no frizz, body galore. I was curious to try this but this is horrible, I am mad. I sure hope that when I next wash my hair and use my usual Wen it returns to the way it was before. First time the reviews here have let me down. Don't get this unless you want your hair to be wrecked.

this doesa kinda leave my hair cruncy and no volume.

This mousse is a fantastic product for a great price. I use it like I do a regular mousse, I don't put it on a vented brush, but I do use my hands to distribute it evenly. I flip my head over and dry my hair, then dry it normally with a round brush. The volume, softness and hold is amazing. No stickiness, no drooping, just soft, bouncy volume. Used to use Big Sexy Hair products for styling but no more. This is it! HG status achieved!

I use this for volume sometimes, but also almost everyday in the winter to prevent static hair. Using only a few dollops (less than the directions on the can recommend), I get soft hair that completely resists static and holds some volume all day without ever being sticky or crunchy. However, this is NOT going to give you super hold for 24 hours unless you drench your hair in this.. and by then you will be sticky.

excellent product. does exactly what it says on the tin! It will give you big hair with plenty of volume, pleasant smell and no crispiness or stiffness. Even though it holds your style very well, you will still have plenty of natural movement. the tigi bedhead mousse I usually use has been discontinued, so I am glad I found this in the nick of time.

Before I tell you about this product I will let you know I have long poker straight flat hair, that is very hard to get volume and body into!! I found this product very good ,I had to use 4 large pumps for my hair and i brushed it through towel dried hair with a vent brush,I then blowdried my hair upside down and finished it off in sections with a barrell brush!!My hair had x3 the volume and a nice shine and also this product smells delicious!!Also the next day I could brush my hair through and restyle without having to wash it out, unlike many other products I have used.I purchased mine in Boots and it cost €4.50! there was a deal on which is great value, but the only bad thing I will say is that it didnt expell the mouse very well ,not sure if the nosel on my bottle was faulty or not but I will know next time because i will defo buy it again!!!

I bought this mousse a few months ago in hopes to achieve some volume in my flat-boring hair. I read the directions - ignored the suggestion of applying it with a vent brush and just put in my hair the way I would any other mousse. Well - my hair was limp, flat and dull looking and I hated the mousse. I stopped using it for a while.
About a week ago I decided to give it another try - this time using a vent brush to apply. At first, I was very skeptical because my hair felt like it was going to turn out greasy when I blew it dry. Once I got it all applied I flipped my head upside down and blew dry, pulling the air away from my scalp until it was all dry (this method actually dried my hair a lot quicker than how I usually dry my hair). I had tons of volume and it lasted all day! I'm in love with this stuff and I'm so glad I gave it another chance! Make sure you use the vent brush method recommended on the bottle - it makes all the difference!!
