I really loved this spray, it makes my hair soft and shiny. I have fine hair, so product tends to weight it down and make it look greasy. I have really sprayed this on thick for up-dos and it still does not get "crunchy." It might not be enough hold for someone with thicker or more textured hair, but for me it was just right. It does have a scent, but I found that the scent fades away by the time I walk out the door. Personally, I didn't mind the scent.

I gave up wearing hairspray years ago, I just could not stand the horrible crunchy or worse sticky feeling and the flaking I would see the next day.
My nephew is a stylist and gave me a freebie a couple of weeks ago. I was horrified when he sprayed a ton of this stuff when he was done.
But...My hair looked fabulous for 3 days!!!
No flaking, grimey dirty feeling!! It was shiny and healthy feeling, not dried out at all.
I admit that I don't use a lot of hairspray due to the horrible results I have had in the past but if you add into this review that my nephew is a stylist and won't use anything else it might count for a bit more.
I only have one Con, it has a strong smell. It is not a bad smell but it is definitely worth mentioning.

I hardly ever review products, unless I feel strongly about them.

Package: Nice, great spray nozzle
Price: Decent, a little on the expensive side
Quality: HORRIBLE

The smell is not that great, and the "super fine mist" sprays nicely, but does nothing for the hair. I have thick, full, coarse hair, and it normally does what I want, but this spray did nothing for it. Cheap hairsprays have kept my hair in better place than this spray.

There was so much hype about this product all over YouTube, I wanted to love it, but I really, really don't! I recommend getting a small travel can to test it out if you really want to try the product.

Im always on the search for great products, and let me tell you this is one. ! I mean, the only bad thing I can say is that it doesnt hold for too long, but it does what its suppost to do and it doesnt leave ur hair grasy or anything, it smells good and you can brush it and still look good if u dint like what u did.

I bought this on a trip after I forgot to pack my hairspray. I normally use Big Sexy Hair in the red can, couldnt find it at the drug store so I bought this. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and it just does *not* hold my hair. I live in Florida and there is a ton of humidity this time of year (July). My hair is baby fine. I use hot rollers for volume and then spray upside down, then flip. 15 mins after using this spray my hair is flat as a pancake! I gave it a 2 because yes, you can comb thru it as advertised. I would say this is for someone who wants a minimum amount of hold. It is also expensive for drug store spray. I paid $12.99 and that was a sale price.

This is a GREAT hairspray! I got the travel size, now I will buy the big one, the unscented one. I don`t care too much for this classic hairspray smell, that is why. Other than that, it is really great! I use it every day after I style my bangs, and the wonder of this is that it holds it all day 100% in place, but no hard look or feel. You know, I was used to the strong hold hairsprays that yes, hold strong, but you can see it sitting in your hair, ugghhh! This Elnett has a micro diffuser and it sprays a mist on your hair that is INVISIBLE but still hold strong! Also, it never comes out too strong like others and ruin your bangs. Simply the best!!! Super hold but you can`t see it, and it disappeares when you brush it out, and doesn`t leave a produt build up uglyness. Love it!!! I will buy this forever, don`t mind the extra couple bucks. :-)))

I love this product!! Yes, it smells like awful. Thankfully the stink is very temporary. It made my hair look beautiful, feel silky, and hold for days. I am thinking seriously of hoarding this spray like Elaine hoarded her sponges.

Darn, I really wanted to love this. I admit, I got sucked in by all the hype and just had to try it, I'm so glad that I bought the purse size instead of the full size.
First of all, it reeks. My husband even asked what I put in my hair, and believe me, he dosen't usually notice those things.
Secondly, the mini can lasted a week. I'm not a hairspray fanatic or anythind, a mini can usually lasts me a month.
Thirdly, it held my bangs for about 2 seconds.
The only redeeming quality about this spray is that it dosen't leave your hair crunchy. That's about it. My quest for the perfect hairspray continues.

Elnett has received so much hype that it's impossible not to want to love this. Giant (so big it will only fit in the tallest vanity cabinet) gold can, retro fabulous logo, 50s hair parlor scent... yeah, you want to be on board. So how does it perform? Not bad. It does have a soft hold, it can be restyled, and resists those telltale flakes. I tried it after a blowout and I was still on the fence, and then my husband saw my hair. "Too southern?" I asked. "Um, I don't know what that means, but you look amazing," was the reply :) When two people love each other very, very much, and they do that thing that people in love do, and afterward the woman's hair still looks like a shampoo commercial... well, yeah, then it's worth the hype. Whenever I buy hairspray (not often!) I buy this one. If a style isn't working out for me I can just brush it out and start again! No stickiness and flaking like cheaper brands!

I bought this product a while ago because i kept hearing so many people on youtube, blogs, etc. say wonderful things about this so i decided to give it a go and thought this product wasn't going to leave my hair super crunchy and but it will hold enough.

I gave this product 3 lippies because first off it smelled nasty! and I hate products that either smell funny or bad on my hair I know many people who just try to suck it up and eventually get used it..I tried that but I just couldn't stand the smell and my hair always gets tangled with this stuff..leaves my hair really crunchy and after a few hours leave that horrible flakey stuff that gells and some hairsprays leave. I guess you could say I had very high expectations for this product and should have done a bit more research on it..

Excellent hairspray. I can see why pros use this. It holds up-dos, is workable for volume and styling, and never flakes. Fantastic. Highly recommend.

I use hairspray for hold and body. I can't have a hairspray that weighs hair down. I didn't think this was crunchy at oil. Kind of had a heavy waxy feel..I will stick to my big sexy hairspray. Which gives me excellent hold without weighing it down. And this was VERY expensive for a drugstore brand..

I bought the travel size of is to try cause I had heard so many good things about it.
I will definitely NOT be buying this product again.

I am not sensitive to smells and used the heck out of Aquanet in my day, but his stuff is putrid! To me, it smells like a dead mouse in the wall and someones trying to cover it up with stinky old lady perfume. I am not kidding, I absolutely pick up a underlying hint of a decaying mouse. With the mega millions L'Oreal uses in product testing, someone had to tell them. I don't care if it made my hair look like a model's. I would NOT repurchase it, EVER.

I wish I would have looked up the reviews on here instead of the store website first because this stuff smells TERRIBLE. Probably my top worst smelling product ever. Smells like old lady and Jhirmack Shampoo. It also makes my hair feel greasy. I really hope they allow me to take this back because for 13 bucks, I really cannot get over the smell, it actually makes me nauseous.

Functionally, this hairspray is "OK". It gives a medium hold without stiffness. But it is, hands down, the most repulsive smelling concoction I have ever known.

I have repurchased products despite offensive odors if they work really well, but this stuff would induce nausea in even the strongest stomach.

It also does not give the hold I need (admittedly, very few sprays do; I need a strong hold as opposed to soft hair). It does not add body.

It reminds me of a spray that would work for someone who "sets" their hair; if that is you, still...don't buy this foul product.

This is my go-to hairspray. It works amazingly well at resisting humidity and keeping frizz at bay. Once it dries you can brush your hair out (if you like) and there is no residue, stickiness or flakes. Some reviewers have mentioned that they dislike the smell... in my opinion this is a non-issue. The scent doesn't bother me at all, and it disappears when it dries. For me, the important thing is that this hairspray does exactly what I want it to do: holds well, keeps me from going frizzy in humid weather, and doesn't flake. Love it!!

This spray does provide hold and movement, which I like. The smell is what I don't like. I find it overwhelming and a bit sickening, so I only reach for this spray when I absolutely must have it (e.g. humid or rainy days). Performs well, but the smell makes it unpleasant to use.

This is my favorite hairspray to use when I am curling my hair. I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use because the smell is a bit strong and the spray a bit drying, but for getting hair to hold a curl without that ugly crunchy stiffness (what I like to refer to as "prom" hair ) this is amazing. My hair is fine, naturally wavy and tangles easily. This is the only hairspray that will keep my curls fairly in place overnight (without it by morning my curls have turned into a giant disaster). It provides hold without stickiness, and I can still brush my hair the next day if needed without the brush getting stuck.
