It's really too bad that this color has been discontinued; it's totally a "my lips but better" color for me and I wore it at my wedding. It's really pretty and subtle, a perfect every day pink.

This is a pretty, cool pink colour. I would give it a 5, except I'm not totally happy with the texture - it's a little bit gritty, and can be a little drying at times. Just not one of the best textures of MAC lipsticks IMO.

What more can I say about this lipstick that hasn't already been said. Beautiful lovely pink and is perfect for everyday wear and if I want to dress it up then I pair it up with a lipglass :)

I have been searching high and low for a beautiful shade of pink that looks natural but adds oophm without it looking like cheap pink or makes me look like death. i have tried dior, lancome, other mac colors but none beats a rose romance. i love it but again why do all the good stuff have to be limited edition :(

My wedding color, enough said. Reminds me of 3n lipstick in a pink version, but this doesn't wash my lips out like that one did. Beautiful pale, ballerina pink at ITS PRETTIEST. I regretted purchasing Way to Love which is part of the same collection (beigy pink) cause' this one is far more gorgeous on my lips and should've bought a back-up. Since it's LE the prices will be double its retail price, but honestly..I'd be happy to pay for it. xo

Loved this lipstick! Great for everyday!! Recently picked this lippie up at a CCO, and got super excited! My fave lipsticks at the moment are mac gaga, and snob so it was no surprise rose romance caught my attention. I like to use this soft pink as an everyday colour in the summer (my alternative to not wasting gaga, or snob). Would probably repurchase if it were not LE and if I were buying it for the same price I originally bought it for (an amazing $9!!).

Nice blue based pink. Doesn't look tacky. Nice consistancy, I love the lustre finish. It's a buildable color. You can do a very subtle pink or or a more opaque pink. Great shade. I don't know if I will buy again because i'm sure there's a dup. This is a overall good pink color.

This lipstick actually looks fairly natural on my lips. It brightens my natural lip color and adds a pink sheen that isn't too bright or too pale. Everytime I consider wearing it I think to myself, I don't want pale lilacy-pink lips today because for some reason I have this idea in my head that this lipstick looks like that on me. In reality it doesn't and every time I put this lipstick on I am once again pleasantly surprised by the natural, pretty, fresh pink. No lilacy tones and no shockingly pale brightness. Just a fresh girly pink that adds sublte color. I am not giving this a perfect rating because I just don't think it is HG material. Once I run out of this limited edition shade I certainly won't try to hunt it down. There are so many pink lipsticks out there and I don't think this shade has any qualities that aren't dupable in many other pink lipsticks.

Glossy mid tone cool pink. It's nothing super unique, but it's such a nice everyday pink.

This is a lovely shade of lipstick! It's sort of like "St. Germaine," but not that pale pink. It's a bit more toned down on the paleness pink. It is a very very flattering shade. I'm sure it works for all skintones.

I don't find this lipstick particularly special. To me, it is comparable to "Angel" but doesn't go on as nicely. Lustre formula isn't my favorite anyway, it tends to wear off quickly and it can be streaky on me. With that said, RR has some purple in it so it isn't as Barbie pink as Angel. It is a very pretty shade but just didn't knock my socks off. Rose Romance collection didn't either.

This lipstick looks like a natural pink on my lip. Just neutral, not too pink, not too pale, not too red, not too yellow, just a clean pink. Therefore I feel like it's a little too boring but I put it in my makeup bag for on the go if I need a little lip colour throughout the day.
Edit:
I've been using this and I love the colour, but the grainy texture is just not good...especially during the brutal winter it tricks my lips into thinking it is dry when it's not. But really a beautiful clean baby pink.

I wanted to love this, but it is just too cool and pale for me and my golden NC30 skintone. And because my lips are somewhat pigmented, this is just on the edge of that 'porno' pink look that I definitely would like to avoid! I guess I will put it up for swap. It's a very pretty shade, but I would not go so far as to say that this would work for everyone, because it definitely did not work for me!

I'd been hearing raves about this lipstick for quite some time so when I found out it had become available where I live I grabbed it right away, without thinking much. I had no specific expectations form this colorwise; I just thought, hey, if it flatters so many different people, it has to flatter me too. And as a matter of fact I think it does.
It's actually a very cool-toned pink; cool to the point that it tends to have very visible lilac undertones on me. It's a sweet, innocent and romantic color, undoubtedly. While many reviews of Way To Love lippie from the same line claim that one is the l/s equivalent of Pink Fish TLC, I personally find A Rose Romance very similar to Pink Fish as well. Strange, because no one seems to agree with me, but that's the first thing I thought when I saw A rose Romance. That being said, while it has the same undertones as Pink Fish, it is slightly deeper than that.
Now this is the first Lustre I have tried, and I like it. It's very light and quite moist. It's also rather sheer, so you might need a couple of layers to get intense color. I do, however, prefer this one as a sheer wash (the more I apply, the more obvious the lavender undertone, and I don't want that.)
As for the packaging and the price, those are the usual with MAC. If you're familiar with MAC l/s, you already know these. Let me just say again, while rather expensive, I think MAC l/s is pretty much worth it.
All in all this is a nice, very cool toned sheer pink that looks romantic and sweet. I won't run out for backups, as I don't really use this all the time, however I'm happy with it.

I'm generally not a lipstick person (I don't care much for lip products in general except regular lip balm) but this colour is gorgeous! Gives a nice pink sheen that's really pretty. Perfect for daytime wear.

I thought for sure I would love this but *sigh* I do not. This is one that emphasizes dry lips and settles into lip lines. This color just looks weird with my complexion. I am NC 30ish for ref. This and Way to Love are nearly identical on my lips even though this one is pinker.

I'M IN LOVE! I usually think MAC's lipsticks are just ok (there are definitely better out there) but I've absolutely fallen in love with this one. That's a first for me! This is the exact shade of pink I was looking for all over the permanent line for years. Wonderful color for my neutral skintone. Super nice with or without lipgloss on top. I tried Bountiful plushglass the other day and they were great together! Lustre finish is like the cherry on top. I feel like I could buy a dozens of backups of A Rose Romance.
