Removed the brassiness and made my hair feel silky smooth. Very easy to use. My only complaint is the smell...like a rubbery plastic. But that washes out so no worries.

I used this after i home bleached my hair and it was quite brassy at the roots. This toned down the brassiness slightly but where my hair was lighter it turned greyish, so i had greyish highlights ugh. Luckily it washes out after a few washes.
This also didn't help the condion of my hair, after using it my hair was even dryer and tangled, not shiny.
oh well, would probably work for some people whos hair is an even colour all over.

I've bought this product twice. I've been bleaching my hair for years and I use this after to tone down the brass. Because my hair is porous, it's the only thing that doesn't turn my hair violet as a toner. That's why I'm giving it a 5! If you have porous hair and still need to tone brassiness, give this a try. Only once did it give the slightest bit of violent tint that washed out after one shampoo to a beautiful white.

It supposed to tone down brassiness and yellow tones in blonde or bleached hair, improve your hair quality, soothe scalp and add dramatic shine. The only thing it did really well is to tone down brassiness! No home product has done that great job before with my hair. BUT it made my hair extremly dry and frizzy. Not talking about shine or improved hair quality. I had to use tones of shine and anti-frizz serum after this treatment. So pity, because the whitening effect was great.

I am naturally blonde and I had coloured my hair red and then bleached several times wanting to go back to blonde. Results were always yellow. So I wanted my hair to be more platinum and less yellow and I tried "whiter shade of pale". It was ok but not as great as I expected. My haircolor was toned but just very very slightly and not close to platinum blonde. There is still yellowness on my haircolor thought its not as stricking anymore. I quess I need to have it on longer that 20 minutes. I do not know anything else I could use for this purpose so I keep buying this. EDIT!!! This stuff is great. I can see it better today. There was a total difference and my hair was just beautiful non brassy blonde when I looked at myself at the mirrors of my workingplace (lol the mirrors of the truth) this stuff is great for removing brassyness from home- bleached hair.
